I don’t really like the shared timeline idea. 3rd Gen feels like it’s very much intended to be a reboot of the series, you know with the plot pretty much just being a redux of 1. With the rogue ai controlling everything in an underground society and you being the only raven capable of stopping it. Just feels very weird to have the same story happen twice
I think it works well both ways as a kind of cycle that keeps repeating itself or a full on reboot. It's just my personal preference for the unified timeline. And yeah, burning through almost 100 missions felt daunting at first but it turned out to be loads of fun.
@@FiresideGamingReviews I have a question for you now, do you believe that Ninebreaker and Formula front are canon or not? Is one canon but the other isn’t?
Honestly, I'm not sure. I know as spinoffs they aren't technically part of AC's Gen 3 games but I include them anyway just because of when they came out. I'll have to consider that more when I play through them again. If I remember right, there is a reference to Ninebreaker in FF but not necessarily connections to other games.
I have exactly 1 armored core memory and its having the box to this game. I got my ps2 and first games second hand and and that game box I think had code veronica in it instead
Awesome video!
Ahhh we need to see Seraph return in DLC.
I expected to see him in the bonus arena of AC6 but I like what they did with Allmind.
Oh hey! It’s the “Play over 100 missions and nothing else” game!

I mean, Code Veronica is a solid game so at least it's still a win.
I've had this game as a kid, a 4 to 5 year old kid, I didn't get past neo issac.
It's a lot easier if you can bring save data over from AC2.
Ah, my favorite slept in videogame RUclipsr releases a mech video? It must be my birthday.
Thanks and hopefully it won't be too long before the next one!
