So imagine you’re 10 years old, and this show comes on every week after you and the family sit down for American idol, and then this game comes out.
I loved this. It’s so good, still is, and I believe it was written and directed by people who worked on the show, so that’s certainly where its authenticity comes from
I'm only 27 and this used to be/ is my TV show of all time. It's awesome this game turned out as good as it was and being a major fan of the show, the attention to detail in this is insane. From the cinematography, to the sound effects, to the lighting, the way they used to slitscreen to all the little details, it's all on point although a bit more over the top and the ''real time'' aspect is of course nowhere to be found. And as a game, it's honestly a pretty great shooter for the time and the graphics are honestly excellent, and the modeling on the faces are very well done.
It's kinda weird though how forgotten this show is by most, as it was EXTREMELY popular back in the day and honestly a game changer. You still see people talk about Lost, Prison Break but 24 rarely. So nice to see you guys playing this.✌
I'm 27 too!
Me too! Let's make sure we don't die for the remainder of our 27 yr old days
@@alexelkins9475 the 27 + club 👌
I'm 34. 24 was the butt of so many jokes because at it's core it was just a federal agent rocking the shit out of terrorists.
Weirdly tho he never had to shit or sleep leading me to believe Jack Bauer was a cyborg.
This was a show of all time
God this episode was hilarious. That box kill at 11:10 absolutely sent me. 😂
Kick the box die by the box 📦 lol
I remember my brother playing this game when I was a kid, it was great to watch. Also the show was top tier television.
Definitely check out the show. It was my favorite growing up. I absolutely hated when we had to wait a whole week for another episode but this show was always worth it.
My favorite was you guys mocking the death sounds and voices lol. You guys really improve my day
Mind Pulp does not disappoint, no matter what.
I’ve been praying for a Bourne identity game review
Never played this game, but I was a huge fan of 24 back in the day. If anything this game tones down how badass Jack Bauer was lol
This was such a crazy era in gaming. I couldn’t tell if the thumbnail had been tampered with in anyway, or if it was just an actual screenshot.
And that's what made it a crazy era in gaming?? Potentially dilated eyeballs?!😂
Little useless fact: Kiefer hated this game because in his opinion his nose was way too big shown in the game. 😄
this game was genuinely good, i played it like 10 times over, there are a BUNCH of secrets and it has a flat out gta-like open world
Honestly for the time there were so many crappy movie/tv licensed games that this 24 game was actually really really good. As a huge 24 fan, the game stayed very true to the show and was a very nice treat as a fan.
I discovered you guys two weeks ago and have already binge watched every video of you guys. You guys are serious life savers after a long day
Ah yes, this was actually my first PS2 game.
My dad gt this game when he bought the PS2. I was actually surprised at how good the game was.
Dude. I LOVED this game growing up. I played it over and over again.
Man I forgot this game existed, this was my all time favorite show

"No! That is NOT Solid Snake!"
I was thinking the same thing. This guy doesn’t know his MGS lore.
I liked the minigame where you find all the snipers. Also later there's a fun driving level where the villains set off an earthquake machine and you have to drive through LA but the roads are all fucked up.
0:08 No! That is NOT Solid Snake !
Your guys videos have me laughing in a way I havnt in a long long time 😂 please never stop uploading you guys are a riot
13:45 I mean you'd be surprised how many people he just sucker punches in the show like no joke.
11:00 that dorky little jingle cracks me up every time! 😂
14:36 LMAO that camera angle made me laugh so hard 😂😂😂
finally a new video i been watching all your videos last 2 days lol :D
btw i never heard of this game lol :D
and the graphics and main characters models looks so good for ps2 game
A blast from the past, I almost finished this game back in the day.
0:09 “NO, THAT IS NOT SOLID SNAKE!”
I really recommend watching the show if you're interested.
It's a fantastic show and not what you would expect from a mid 2000s cop show.
The show gets pretty ridiculous. The first season was great but after that it becomes so far fetched and convoluted its very hard to take seriously, especially with how entrenched it is in American Exceptionalism and how almost every foreigner is depicted as a violent terrorist. I mean at one point, they go through like 3 presidents over the course of a single day.
@@DeadManSinging1hat’s exactly how I felt about Scandal, problem with crime shows is at the beginning the writing is fresh and good but they go on for so long they become convoluted
@@DeadManSinging1 I disagree with your foreign comment.
The show uses foreign extremists as antagonists but labels them as what they are and uses them to comment on the racism and xenophobia resulted from the post 9/11 paranoia that was running rampant in the US and most of the times it ends up being American antagonist
There are countless examples of this like dedicating a whole arc with the President dealing with racist citizens using a bomb that went off as pretext to go after the Muslim community and in the same season you have a Muslim man who's being interrogated calling CTU out for racial profiling and ends up being revealed he's innocent.
Heck, one of the main stories in season 6 is politicians taking advantage of the terrorist situation to try passing certain laws and other characters pushing back because it marginalizes the Islamic community and violates their rights.
Not saying its perfect, but it's not at all what you're making it out to be.
@@35antoniothe first 3 seasons absolutely were what he stated they were. They only ran with the commentary angle after ratings started dropping
@@JohnZombi88 Nah. In season 2, you have a whole side story of Palmer dealing with racists attacking Muslims leading him to call the military because he won't stand for racism and xenophobia.
And it's later revealed that a group of European & American businessmen fabricated the whole thing and just used the terrorist cell in order to force a war with the Middle East so that they could benefit from rocketing oil prices that would result from it.
Not to mention the the story arc involving the Cyprus recording that falsely implicates three Middle Eastern countries in the detonation of the nuke began days after the US invaded Iraq based on faulty intelligence pertaining to WMDs.
Y'all deserve more viewers.
Good shit for real!!!
I loved this game. Completely forgot about it
Please mindpulp!! I am now your biggest fan! I am serious when i said that your channel has cured my anxiety/depression

Its a great Sunday night whenever Mind Pulp uploads. Im glad their LIGMA is cured
Wait, a 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 game?

The most lethal weapon in the 24 Game, the box
for people who are interested to play this game and watching the series this game takes places after season 2 and before season 3. this will give u a complete picture what happened after season 2.
you guys are destined for RUclips greatness. I'd bet my life on it
Loved the Simpsons H&R score talking about the family sedan 😂
I'm rewatching the show (on season 8) and actually played the game between season 2 and 3, which is when it takes place, and it's astonishing to me that they ended season 2 with a big twist and the tease of a new villain and paid it off in this late gen tie-in PS2 game and not in season 3.
I loved it. The gameplay is very clunky and the cover system is so bad it's better to not use it but everything else makes up for it.
You can tell the show's writing and production team were heavily involved in the game. The cutscenes, for a PS2 game are really well done and capture the feel of the show perfectly, the cast does a tremendous job and don't phone it in like in 98%of tie-in games and the writing is a love letter to the show.
It was really fun seeing the introduction of season 3 characters and catching easy to miss season 3 references like the brief shot of Michael Amadore's name in Nina's screen.
Continua the great work guys.
I loved this game! I do remember though that there was an infamous glitch in the last level where you could not proceed and if you ran into it, you'd have to start THE ENTIRE GAME OVER if you used one save file (which I do by default as I just overwrite the data). I couldn't believe it when I ran into it because you couldn't just restart the mission. One of the weirdest things I encountered in a game. Lol. Other than that, it's definitely an underrated title not talked about enough!
Such a great video!!! Keep it up!
It's surprising and satisflying how the purple gag keeps reappearing in such a variety of ways
new mind pulp video means it's a good day
lmao i grew up on 24 with my grandparents. They introduced me to it when I was like 10, and I've followed it the whole way through. I loved the game too
The 24 was my favorite show back then and this game turned out to be such a treat!
Lmao Mr. Shin in the backrooms had me dying
I wish you guys had played this for 24 hours as a tribute. Have you played the Grinch game yet?
A Mind Pulp upload?
And it aint Hail To The King?
Gotta blast!
Gotta blast? Did you have a stroke or a seizure at the end of that?
@@YumariYatasuka I blasted right into space!
Omg That driving segment was way better than all of the f&f game
I literally stare at RUclips till a new mind pulp video drops! Can you guys play the great escape for ps2 pls!
Actually Agent Edmonds was THE best and my favorite agent in the entire show. Mind pulp gets it wrong again
this channel is amazing lmao
Welcome back guys 😁😊😊
I'm very excited for more of your videos 😂😂
The one game when it came out had very little knowledge about the show. Still had enough interest to rent it and man, one if my favorites for sure. Had to rent it out again after my first week was done. Was taken aback on how good it was.
7:31 looks like Saul Goodman
I did watch a lil bit of 24 along with older shows since i didn't have cable back in the day 😂
used to play this game with my brother on ps2, so many years have passed its crazy haha we loved this game so much.
Mind Pulp is back baby, and the PS2 game they play actually isn’t a pile of crap for once
2:45 even in Watch Dogs 1 you press L3 to reload and it's not the classic. But still nostalgic 😂
08:20 Literally did the Kyle Katarn death sound from Jedi Outcast 😂
I used to love playing this game a whole lot as a kid despite not even knowing where it originated from and just recently I started watching the show and the first season was pretty good
Check out the shield too. Another good show
@@6FStyleCo Shame the licensed game for The Shield is one of the worst games out there.
@@Jabler- I don't think I ever played the game.
That was funny, thanks for the good content
I was not expecting a purple bit from a 24 game, but they managed to pull it off lol
This game was really great to watch and enjoy
15:09 bro for a moment it was Pepsi Man levels of reflex all over again.
Agent bauer: hostile down
Other agent: ....idk that last guy didn't seem like a terrorist I'm pretty sure he was surrendering
We need a part 2!
Ahhhh yes more mindpulp❤
im 17 and watched 24 with dad and its now my favorite show of all time it just sucks that no one my age that i know has seen it so i can rant about it to them lol
I love this game and 24 is one of my favourite tv shows of all time this was so good also you should try the Prison break game
Was honestly a great game, they didn't even get to the -torture- enhanced interrogation parts
0:09 ik I'm gonna get mocked for this but that was actually Venom Snake who is Solid Snake's father Big Boss...
(Spoilers ahead)
...'s medic form like one mission that went through surgery and hypnosis to think he was actually Big Boss so the secret society thinks he's dead and oh yeah the leader of that society was the one who did it (MGSV is really confusing)
Wow, as a kid I always got stuck on the part where you have to enter the car and now - almost 20 years later - I learned what I would have needed to do. If I ever get to use a time machine, thats the first thing I will do, tell me from back then that I have to enter the car.
I remember playing this on my playstation 2, never got to finish it because I was terrified by its sound effects as a 10 year old.
I always thought this was a good looking game with good aesthetics but I never knew anyone appreciated it!
Also i never realized till now how many amazing games were released in the year 2004 alone! My god, what a time to be alive!
I'm the biggest 24 fan and played this game a bunch when I was a teenager. Until the one day the disk didn't work anymore.
Man I miss this game!
While on the topic of licensed TV games from the 2000's, you guys should do LOST: Via Domus. The graphics alone are pretty cursed....
My pops loved this show back then😂😂
Loved this game back in the day
Play more of this, I enjoyed it 😂 pretty decent game
So glad this game was first party, the fact that it got Sony's money really shows. Even though it's nowhere near to being a masterpiece, and the open world sections run like crap, it's great fun especially if you're a fan of the show. I played it on a real PS2 a few years ago, while actually watching the show. It's not mandatory or anything but it fits pretty well into the story.
this game was more fun than the shield game on ps2
I remember playing this when I was younger
0:03 , id really like to see if anyone remembers which great game that soundtrack is from. Probably the best nintendo 64 adventure out there
Purple rain bit never gets old 🤣
Can’t wait for the next video!!!!!
Did anyone else cop the freeze glitch where it wouldn't progress and just freeze mid video clip? I tried 4 different discs and a couple new games and never changed
This was one of my favorite PS2 games, highly underrated.
Loved the show. I remember the drinking game whenever some said "Damn it!". Kiefer Sutherland was told about this drinking game so he deliberately added a few "Damn it!"s on purpose which I find fucking funny.
Fire upload
I dont know why it hit me so hard, but when it cut to the VP and he said "That's no Kamala Harris" I literally died.
24 was the best back in the day. Definitely worth watching and yes, Jack Bauer IS a badass.
The game was so fun and it's up there in my top 10 PS2 games of all time. Mainly due to the tag doll physics 😂
I loved this game when I was in 6th grade I'm 26 now would love to play it again
I remember having and playing this, it was so good
If you close your eyes, you will hear venom snake doing his usual quest.
I loved this game when I was a kid.
I want to see you play gollum video game.... will be very funny with you🤣🤣🤣
