Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this RUclips channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

They just create drama to make their posts “interesting”. After awhile, it gets old. I loved their old videos but now they seem to lack spontaneity...it is all about business. Too bad!

They've been everywhere, rubbing shoulders with people on every continent except Antarctica, and the people they meet seem to, without exception, be charmed by their friendliness and genuineness. Just amazing to watch! My wife and I consider ourselves "world travelers", but our experience is to lay out an itinerary, follow the schedule and end up back home. It's fantastic to watch you two catch a flight to "somewhere" and then decide to head out a week early "for better accommodations" as if moving across town. The world is your town! Just amazing.
Clint Atkinson it is called youth. But then again even when young we almost always stuck with a plan.
@@ptrs559 Hey Mike. Yeah, definitely youth is a big part. But Nate has mastered the art of gaming the system through great smarts, (which they both have!), and hard work. His ability to plan on the fly gives them the opportunity, but it's their willingness to go for it that makes it all work! Young or older, that's something a lot of people don't have. I think Kara and Nate feel the whole world as their home now and that's been such a wonderful thing to watch develop over these years. 😀
Clint Atkinson true that! Wish we would have had some of those resources available to us when we were young and traveling the world. Sure we gamed the system but it was not possible to do it to the extent they do ( in the pre-internet age when you had to rely on airline reservation clerks and travel agents to enable your travel) Happy travels Clint.

You have this 'just managed to make our flight' routine down to a fine art. I always expect it to end up in disaster, and considering how much travelling you do, it rarely does. Great video.

My hubby used to be a flight attendant. He told me that I only needed to get nervous if the flight attendants get nervous. Also, he said turbulence is like a car driving over a bumpy road. It helped me deal with my fear of a bumpy flight. Thank you for another awesome video!!!!

I very recently found your channel and I love your videos. I don't know if it's just by chance, but all the videos I've watched so far have shown y'all running late and it cracks me up that y'all are full time professional travelers and always seem to be running behind schedule. Absolutely Traci! You do see that some with growth definitely have a personality change. We're full time travelers and both always try to stay positive and think of how grateful we are to be able to travel and share the things we see and learn. We do know not every adventure is easy and there are always bumps along the way but we feel if you're going travel in this way you have to recogniz that and always keep the one thing that makes you, YOU, your personality. It usually doesn’t cost anymore to get a multiple reentry visa so I always get one. I’m sure they do the same. You never known when you might go back. Plus if you want to visit one of the neighboring countries you will need one to get back in to your base country.

Okay-that was an amazing journey that you took us on, I think I'm worn out from just hoping you made the flight to that beautiful city. What a view. I am glad Nate mentioned the flight and being nervous-I was always wondering with all the flights you have taken if you have ever been scared, nervous etc.

Y'all. Stress. Me. Out! Lol. I'm watching this with sweaty palms. Whew! Fun fact: when I go to Korea standby, on the way back to the States, they don't release standby seats until THE LAST MINUTE so then we have to do the mad dash to the other end of the airport. Ugh. Glad y'all made it!

Gosh guys, you really do push the limits! Sorry to hear about the weighing bags thing, we've been in Vietnam for 6 months now and have also had our bags weighed almost every time we fly. Not sure why its such a big deal here!

Traveling in a crazy rush like you’re doing in this video is just an example of all the things you guys have gone through to make you mentally tough. Obviously you would have preferred to not be rushing but it’s great conditioning for you while under pressure like that. Instead of getting completely frustrated and burnt out you guys kept pushing to find solutions. If I was stuck somewhere and I had to pick people to help me it would be you guys! Haha
Lol, yep, this is how not to travel :) You two are definitely blessed and protected as there was a dozen things that could have gone wrong. I once got strip searched in transit from China because the shoulder bag I got cheap in Beijing had explosives residue on it, Aargh!
Anyway, can't wait to hear what's up in Vietnam and areas around. It's one of our next places to live in. Our friends Leon and Tash (YT) have given us loads of tips.

I think we were at JFK yesterday the same time as you guys! We just arrived from a two week adventure to Ecuador and Colombia. Oh and thanks to our priority passes we got access to some cool lounges in the Galápagos, Quito, Guayaquil, Cartagena and Bogota. Love the #loungelife you guys do it best! 😊

After seeing you guys running like that in the video, there aint NO way this old phart (69 years) old could keep up with that pace.. I took a trip to Seattle back in December to see a couple of old highschool buddies, and just getting from the Uber dropoff to my gate took nearly an hour as I had to sit down a bunch of times to catch my breath. Damn these airports are BIG!!!! Love to watch your videos, and Kara? You are a doll!!

You guys are living super close to me, I also lived in Rivergate building. You're really close to 'food street' on Vinh Khanh street and it has a ton of seafood and other food vendors. Have fun in this amazing city!!
You are so funny when you got that upgrade. My wife is a TA and we used to fly standby all the time. Many times we were on the plane only to be pulled off at last minute. But it was cheap
