Love you guys! Me and my wife just had a baby boy, we have been on leave from work for 2 months and we watch your videos all day! Even our 2 month old boy watches with us and he smiles!
Interesting fact about A/C on Swiss trains. That year (2019) the federal railway company announced it would no longer cool down train wagons to a certain temperature, but rather cool down 7° C relative to the outside temperature. This resulted in train wagons measuring 40°+ C temperatures that summer and an infinite number of complaints.
They have made so many videos on that. Nate runs an online course on travel points and travelling cheap! Also, they created faredrop.com that helps people find cheap flights!

Kara, Nate, next time try the Bernina express from Tirano, Italy to St. Moritz, IN THE WINTER !!! the greenery in your video looks good, but in winter everything is white, covered with snow and even more beautiful. BTW it was hot in the train even in winter 🤷🏽♂️

So happy you included the info about discounts at the end! We rode the Glacier Express in December 2018 (temperatures were more favorable inside the train lol). We were traveling by train through France and Switzerland and ended up getting the 2-Country Eurail Pass which also covers the Glacier Express. We just had to pay the reservation fee. The Eurail isn't perfect for everyone's itinerary because it is quite expensive on it's own, but if anyone is riding several "premium" trains during their Euro-trip it really can save you a lot of money. Also, if anyone just wants a "taste" of the Glacier Express they can just ride a segment of it. We just rode the segment between Chur and St Moritz and it was only 13CHF per person.

If you'd ride trains a lot, just go for the Travel Pass. Second class will be a lot lot cheaper. Plus tourists usually purchase 4-5 day Swiss Pass that costs 250$+. U can travel unlimited for 4-5 days including Glacier exp (u have to pay only the reservation fee). One more tip- u can do the entire Glacier express route in normal trains as well which do NOT need any reservation fee. Say you will take train from Zermatt to Brig. In next 5 min, Brig to Andermatt, so on. Same beautiful route but different trains and even cheaper.
Now at 70 I have been a train lover all my life. I like being alone so I never married or had a partner. At the end of the day you are better off by yourself. I also went on the trans Siberian railway all the way to the end and it was great.

Thank you so much for saying about the card to get 50% off train tickets, I will have to try and remember that for the next time I visit Switzerland as last time it was so expensive to travel but loved it so much (also need to visit family there sometime as never seen where my Grandmother grew up)

I‘m actually from switzerland and it was so cool watching you exploring the country....by the way your swiss german at the end was 100% correct, great job :)
Switzerland is so picturesque😲🏔 the train ride was a great way to take in all of its beauty! I always enjoy a good train vlog with y’all, and that bathroom was legit🚽🧼!!
*Kara, I know you’re bummed about the microphone but don’t sweet it sister, the video was great🤓
Stay you 😘
What the.. only 300? For two people!?! All day glacier cruises in Alaska are EXPENSIVE
Thank you for making my day with your videos! After a long day it's always nice to watch a new story of you two!!! Thank you Kara and Nate! 😊❤️🗺🧳
Aww great to hear that David! 😁
I love your videos keep it up Kara and Nate and have fun!💚💚💙💙
we love you Nate!
"Slowest express train in the world" - I can tell you haven't been to Bulgaria.
I think the teacher in Kara was shown today with those explanations and PERFECT letters and numbers.
You guys are always always so positive no matter what the situation may be! I want to live just like you guys! So inspirational
Now at 70 I have been a train lover all my life. I like being alone so I never married or had a partner. At the end of the day you are better off by yourself. I also went on the trans Siberian railway all the way to the end and it was great.
Are you lonely
@@elisscaliving5864 No, are you? What a fucked-up dumb question
My parents, sister and Grandmother have all been on the Glacier Express. Thank you for posting this so I can get to see part of what they experienced. Thank you so much for saying about the card to get 50% off train tickets, I will have to try and remember that for the next time I visit Switzerland as last time it was so expensive to travel but loved it so much (also need to visit family there sometime as never seen where my Grandmother grew up)
They are honestly perfect for each other 😍😍
