I really wondered why they didn’t examine Wes in the last case at all. He seemed suspicious f on the beginning, pointing the finger at his Mom immediately and laughing about it at the interview. Wes had access to her laptop and iPad. The gun was wiped of fingerprints and then left in her car, exactly where he said. Wes needed money and thought John had included him in his will.
If Wes was the killer then his mother is a liar. There is no way you can have a conversation with him, hand him money and not know the man was your own son. Even if he was masked, she said she got a look of his eyes when the lights were on. You're not going to not recognize your son's eyes. The refusal of wanting to give up the keys to her car was suspicious as well. I think she got away with it, personally.
Why did she lie in the beginning that a boat drove by and shot him? When you start out lying you are a liar all the way through. I also don't believe she went to Belize on a humanitarian mission. She went there for fun and got caught up in the rich lifestyle.
She is definitely guilty. “What’s at risk is my life my children my freedom my money” not one thought for her “friend” who just lost his life or his children??? Yes she DID IT!

I am not saying mothers should never, ever go out and have fun, and I know they're rich and have nannies, but it's just so odd to have two small babies and be out at night alone where you put yourself in danger of being attacked, or spending time drinking on a peer and giving back massage to local chief of police. Later crying and throwing a ruckus to see your children just seems so disingenuous and makes me think she had those babies just to anchor a wealthy man. I didn't like that woman one bit.
Billionaire types are different. They routinely do things like party and the kids are with their nanny. Fwiw, I don't think she murdered the man on purpose. I believe it was an accident. Why did the cop even have the gun out? Had one in the pipe and didn't eject it before handing her the firearm. She didn't know to clear it or that there was one in the pipe. Ppl are harmed and killed accidentally by handguns daily. I'd bet this is 99% of the reason why.
Out so late partying and needed to be rescued from an aggressive male? So she needed her "friend" to drive an hour to get there? That doesn't make logical sense. She could have asked someone at the party to help her. Or fend him off herself in a public place. If she had the sense enough to call the victim to come and get her, she could have called the local police.
Jasmine's no kind of mother and only had kids to secure her lifestyle. All of her protests to see them after she recklessly, drugged, and drunkenly killed King was only a pretense. She never cared where they were while out partying every other day.
She is a liar. Why would a superintendent of police want to teach anyone to use a gun in pitch dark? She was sober and killed him because he refused her advances.

@@easternkiwiz - & he could easily have put the bag w/ the gun, wallet & watch in his mom’s car to frame her. Look how quickly he started setting the stage by indirectly implicating his own mother. Seemed very calculating to me.
@@liseklerekoper2441 Yes for sure, and I believe the cops said they had previously searched the car and found nothing. SO how did the son know it would now be there. Major red flag.
In the first story, the suspect said her husband was supposed to join them at the dock, but turns out, according to her, they are no longer in good terms. And maybe the rich husband dodged a literal bullet there.
I get that many women dream of a rich and powerful husband but you have to consider that if things go sideways, they have all the power over you. There is no amount of money that could convince me to give up all my autonomy in a relationship. She got off way too light but her husband dealt the fatal blow by taking away her kids.
The last case- I think her son killed her husband. She had zero motive. She has MS and he takes care of her. He was at their house and with him the night it happened. Then he kept pushing them towards his mom. He could have easily taken that gun and placed it into her car. They should have looked into his phone and looked further into him.
A few minutes in and it's clear the officers messed up. Someone feeds you information and that didn't ring a bell? Where to find the gun , implicating his mother. Red flags!!
Ol Chris is a complete sicko. I feel bad for his mother because we all want to believe that our children are good people. Im sorry mom but your son has major issues 😔
The son did it? Then he had a conversation with his mom about why he did it afterwards, but she didn't recognize his voice? That makes zero sense, why would the son risk getting recognized during the conversation when he could just leave?
Even her mom is a trickster! “I convinced a local donut shop to give me stale donuts for my kids but I told them I was a pig farmer. The kids were so proud of me”😂😂 She get it from her mama😂
lol. Anyone can get the donuts leftover at the end of the day. I’ve gotten one or two and was offered about a dozen more for free because they were about to close and the leftovers go into the trash. No one has to lie to get old stale donuts for free. Lol
I think we should all take a moment to consider how awful it must have been for all those cockroaches forced to spend a night locked in a cell with her.
If the son did it then why would he start talking with his mom while still holding the gun explaining why he did it.... knowing his mom would recognize his voice. He wouldn't have. He would have just shot and left. That's a theory that her attorney came up with and she's just mad that her son told on her. That's how evil that woman is.
(THIRD CASE): Wow. The prosecutor decides Wes is innocent because of her own personal vibe she got from him. (He couldn’t stomach the sight of blood). Be damned with the evidence and provable facts. What a disgrace. Sandra should NEVER have been charged. Total and utter incompetence from the start. John and his family and Sandra deserved better.
Wes definitely sounded more guilty to me. It seems that he was on good terms with his family, since he stayed with them. If that is the case, I think it would almost certainly take longer to come to terms with one's parent's probable guilt and then to go to report it to the police. It seems that Wes went to them almost immediately. And then there's the time difference for his supposed alibi... It seems incredible that he was not at least subjected to fairly intense interviewing. The only point I see in his favor is that his mother said she did not recognize him at the time f the crime. That does seem odd. 😞
Right? That's usually the kind of weak excuse you hear from a *defense* lawyer, or the defendant's family: "Talk to him for five minutes, you know he *couldn't* do it!" 🙄
She has an ANSWER for EVERYTHING nothing makes sense what she’s saying about what happened 😒 She said she’s been through hell on earth. You will continue to go through that you reap what you sow
First story-when a “survivor”weaves an elaborate, questionable story about what happened explaining what the deceased was doing that lead to the death- they are guilty. That’s easy to say when the person cannot speak and counter the truth of the story. Third story- I can’t imagine a person with MS killing the one person committed to taking care of her. As the daughter of someone that battled MS, I know how terrible it is. Everything about Sandra including her intense reactions all radiate a person battling MS. More likely the son, Wes, did it. He resorted to blaming her way too quickly. The jury got this one right. Way too much reasonable doubt.

No absolutely not. She and her billionaire boyfriend were probably drug lords and had been bribing him. Maybe he said something she didn't like and she saw him as a threat to their business
I couldn't get past the comically large plastic brightly colored eyeglasses lol. They just made me hoot with laughter when I saw them. Between that and platinum hair, she is def trying for a 'look' that shouldn't be in something as serious as the legal field. I worked in the courts/legal system for years, and even today it's very, very conservative. We had a judge sent a female prosecutor to change her clothes when she appeared in a short, tight skirt that is very popular with any other office. The judge said 'not in my court room', and it was upheld. Same when a male prosecutor wore a Disney tie, and a different judge told him to have respect for the court and made him change his tie on the spot. Judges can and do still demand certain respect in their court rooms, and appearance/attire is one of them. Still. She's not doing anything that would make a judge say "go fix this", I'm just pointing out that this 'look' in a very conservative work environment in a Midwestern city could go against her/the prosecutors office with a jury. Obviously it didn't here, but it could affect an outcome if a jury doesn't respect the prosecutor---or the defense atty. (This part is just personal yapping) And on top of that, with the platinum hair, she does nothing with it. It's just hanging there. No style at all. If you are going to go with an extreme hair color like platinum, make it sing! I admit I'm a tad jealous she can get that platinum hair at all lol. I tried to ask for that with my stylist and they said my hair would just turn orange, too dark with a lot of red undertones. Not everyone can get that pure platinum like she did.(done yapping lol) It DOES matter in the court room, in spite of our much more tolerant attitude everywhere else. There are environments that still expect a more conservative look. Look at finance, banking, etc. You don't see purple hair and visible tattoos in board rooms. You don't see someone dressed or presenting comically at investors meetings. Courts are the same---very boring attire. As a light hearted ending I'd like to share that the female prosecutor sent to change her short, tight skirt (which was actually just above her knees a few inches and not TIGHT TIGHT, kind of pencil-skirt tight--absolutely no one was offended by her attire except the judge) reappeared in the judges court wearing a 2x muumuu dress that she belted and safety pinned to keep it on lol. It was such a "bite me" moment to an unpopular judge and we had to hide our laughter. LOVED IT!! He was not amused. She kept that dress in her office for whenever she had to appear in front of that judge again. He was always grouchy when he saw her on the calendar lol Oh, he also told her to wear 'nylons' to cover her bare legs. Who wears nylons anymore?? I haven't even owned a pair in almost 15 years!
@ - What disturbs me most is that you just spent a great deal of time & multiple paragraphs in a comment section picking apart another women’s physical body/appearance. No one would ever do the same w/ a male as you did here. The value that prosecutor brings to the table has nothing to do w/ her hair color, hair style, choice of eyewear, choice of jewelry, etc. No mention of her skills as a prosecutor or her investment in the case & commitment to getting justice for the victim. THAT’S where the focus should be. It’s so disappointing coming from another female & makes you so much more a part of the problem. Your very long comment basically says it’s normal & acceptable to pick apart another woman for her physical appearance. Do you not realize how wrong that is & how it reinforces what so many women for years & years have been trying to end? No, obviously, or you wouldn’t have done it.
Or just brutally honest. He knows his mom best.
@@breezy3725 I agree!
Wes had too many red flags. So helpful. Too helpful.

"There are few that think I'm a murderer." Immediately I knew she was.

Out so late partying and needed to be rescued from an aggressive male? So she needed her "friend" to drive an hour to get there? That doesn't make logical sense.

@@liseklerekoper2441 Yes for sure, and I believe the cops said they had previously searched the car and found nothing. SO how did the son know it would now be there. Major red flag.
The police in that case was appalling. And this is how they send many innocent people to jail, just to cover their own mistakes and laziness.

I agree, telling them where the gun would be (under the seat) and when they search again it just appears there?

Third case, the widow's son is suspect: too "helpful" with police, throwing his mom under the bus from the beginning
John and his family and Sandra deserved better.
the fact she even felt 50/50 if they would bag her for the charge, is INSANE TO ME, to have that much doubt and you bring it to court!
felt like the in-laws are hating the wrong person

I really like that Milwaukee prosecutor, Sarah Hill. She rocks. And let’s hear it for Molly the cadaver dog. Amazing work by that whole team.
I felt the same way about Hill. What a fantastic prosecutor she was on every front.
They convicted a guy with zero physical evidence. I'm not saying he's innocent but they should have to have more evidence than a prosecutors opinions.
Not everyone can get that pure platinum like she did.(done yapping lol)
It DOES matter in the court room, in spite of our much more tolerant attitude everywhere else.
THAT’S where the focus should be.
It’s so disappointing coming from another female & makes you so much more a part of the problem. Guns NEVER " go off"
Yes, guns can go off by themselves under certain circumstances, such as if the gun is bumped, the safety is moved, or if the gun is poorly designed.
Glocks do
I watched a video of a girl accidentally discharge a pistol which shot her buddy right in the head. After realizing what had happened she used the gun on herself. Pretty crazy...so it is possible this could of been an accident imo.
