This case happened my freshman year at college. Mandy lived across the hall from my roommates and me. We had just signed to be on her enter mural basketball team. We held a memorial in our dorm common room for her. All of were crying. We couldn’t believe it. It was so sad and heartbreaking. She was beautiful and sweetheart. The world lost a lot when it lost Mandy.

Gary Ridgeway (One of the worst serial killers in U.S. history) had a whole wife and kids. None of them expected him of killing. I know his wife at one point thought he was cheating on her with other women (Which he technically was). He hated women, But fell in love with his wife.

What they mean is rich people have the means and do sue over investigations becoming public. So yes law enforcement does in fact make sure they got the right person before making it known they are being investigated. It is your money they are working with, and having to spend a couple miilion to settle lawsuit because you were investigating the wrong person, is not a good thing.

You have to ask what's more likely.
The man who made that statement was the "cold case" investigator, and he was offering his explanation and speculation of why the previous investigation didn't look into Bass.
      What's more likely:
The original investigators looked into everyone except Bass.

I am not placing blame on those girls what I'm trying to say is always have a buddy when you go out that you never leave from. I feel terrible for this judge who lost her son, her heroic son. But this law she advocated for, a law making it difficult to find addresses for judges, should apply to police officers and many other so-called public-servant professions as well. This tragedy could’ve been a platform not merely to the creation self-serving laws, but laws that would help many public servants outside of judges. And that’s what I find disturbing about the lack of vision in this so-called Daniels Law.

Just tell yourself they are a necessary evil in order for our justice system to function. They’re great when you’re innocent and need them but they’re absolutely disgusting and dreadful when they’re blatantly defending monsters. Unfortunately if they didn’t do it, those monsters would claim inadequate counsel and be granted a new trial or released- so it’s best to just know they are part of the process and hope the prosecution has a solid case.

No, the reporter meant, considering the cop, being a father himself with a daughter, that the cop said even somewhat resembled the victim, what was the first thing he said to the victim, when he found her. there’s so many aspects to being a police officer completing a duty like this one. It’s not just finding a dead body. There’s the humanistic aspect. The cop is human, a man, a father, it affects them too emotionally, mentally. uncovering something like this so horrific on an innocent. So he was delving into that part.

So they didn't look into Mandy's killers family because they were so well liked. WTF! Staying quiet for over 20 years even though you think you know who killed her. WTF! The 'friend' who left Kristin in the parking lot said she was stone sober. Sounds to me like she was drugged at the party. How could the second 'friend' leave her after supposedly being so concerned at first? Why have campus police? They never do anything!

I implore anyone that has experienced some form of assault as described by the woman where he entered her home under the guise to use her phone….PLEASE report these instances to police. Men like this, this type of behavior is commonly just a stepping stone to more agregious behavior. Police will likely only charge (if they can) if the victim wishes, particularly if there is no physical harm. BUT at least there would always be a record of the incident.

It's so hard to believe that her dog wouldn't protect her. I've had 2 male German Shepherds, they are the most loyal protective dogs ever! Yet loving family dogs. Which I heard but never owned a female that they can be even more aggressive.
My current boy is 12 yrs old & know he would protect me if it meant losing his own life regardles weapon or not...he has actually saved my life being followed by a stranger that threatened me.
It almost seems as if somebody had known her dog...

If Mandy was having an affair with a married older man (like the suspect says) you know she would have confided in her sister or a close friend. I don't believe for a minute she was and it pisses me off that he tried to sully her reputation by saying that. The creepy way he acted towards those two women and the lies he asked his family to tell on his behalf only solidifies his guilt to me. I hope Mandy's mom and family have the closure they needed. RIP Mandy 💔
