Im just getting into FPV and watched a lot of beginner rtf videos.
Never got why all the videos are 80% level/horizon mode and then 10sec acro. Acro is the only reason to get into FPV (atleast for me).
Learning how to fly in level/horizon takes about 30sec in the sim, dont need a kit for that 😋
Damn, this set is tempting. I've been curious about FPV flying for a while now, but the entry price has stopped me... so far.
Why can’t everyone offer that kind of compatibility with their goggles and radio? And what an innovative goggle design with the detachable panel!

@@CAPTAINDRONE798should I get this if I want to start in this hobby? Someone on Reddit told me to get a transmitter ($100) and to use it in a sim and practice before buying a drone and to get a nice drone when I do get one.
If I were a newbie, I would be buying this for sure. Great looking kit for someone starting out in the FPV hobby. Your video was very good, as usual, demonstrating the pro and cons. 👍👍😀

Cool video nice drone I like the set up
Nice little kit for sure, and they make good stuff. It is however brushed motors and only 25mw vtx. Would be a good start for an absolute beginner. Don't fly brushed motors back to back to back flights...give them time to cool and they will last a long time.
For the price it provides plenty for a beginner. Brushless would have been better, but the price would have been much higher.

Digital is crazy expensive because the unit in the drone adds $250 US to the price & then another $300 for the digital goggles

hey i have recently got into this hobby but the drone kit /whoop kit i bought is really bad and the drone broke after one crash into grass (Apex fpv 70) i was wondering if i could buy one of the cheap drone kits that got sent to you or can you give me some nice cheap recommendations.
Why did they have the VR added? I got all excited they somehow were adding some feature like 3D to the goggles.

I love lil fpv drones like that one. I hear the piranha fpv drone is used a lot in Ukraine by the Russians. I would appreciate it if you could possibly do a review of one of them and all the capabilities. My dji fpv drone is getting old and im looking for a replacement with similar capabilities.
Hmmm..I like that the goggles have a removeable screen unit, but I still am thinking the Tiny hawk's a better drone? Also like the multiple batteries and that trick charger. Looks like a kinda crummy image though. Lots of interference. As you pointed out though, lots of plusses!
Hi, im from italy. I wanna start to dig in in this beautiful world of drone, i started watching a guy mounting his one long range drone, and i start to see that its a really really vast world. I would like to create my own, but prices a part, even if ill be able to i could just broke it on the first fly... so i wanna start with something i can play with. Is it better this kit or the aquila 16 FPV kit or the DrakNight RTF? and if there is another one feel free to tell me. I could try even a small diy first, but the price will go up because i dont have radio and goggles.

The camera angle is fixed. In acro the nose dips down but still useable.

Captain sir, trying to decide between this and the BETAFPV Cetus FPV RTF Drone Kit, prime day price of $154. Which is the better path for an fpv noob? I like that the newbie has dvr and I like the way the monitor snaps apart from the googles…. Thoughts about which is a better path forward? Thank you!

The simulator is extremely old, it is called FREERIDER. The VIDEO output being 25mw means the video range is a maximum of one football field in length with no interference.

The choice is obviously newbeedrone. If you get the cetus you have to get the cetus pro which is better but more expensive

The goggles work with any analog drone. The remote… I’m not sure.

The Captain Drone FB account was just an experiment. I hired a company to create it and run it. It was rather expensive and was draining my budget so I ended the deal and the page now sits in limbo.

Would you buy this beginner FPV drone Or the Cetus FPV Kit for beginner? The only big difference I see is the controllers are a little bit different. So with that in mind, which one would you recommend to start off with to get into the hobby.
It sounds like you are on a budget and looking at RTF kits with BRUSHED motors. The VR DRONE is the BEST of the BRUSHED RTF Kits. If you want something better with BRUSHLESS MOTORS, look at the SUB250 WHOOPFLY 16 or the CETUS PRO or the GEPRC TINYGO

or the Cetus FPV Kit. Or if you have any other recommendations in this price range, I would really appreciate it and I would like to hear your thoughts on which one would be a great one to pick up in 2024. I also want the controller to be as close as a real FPV controller.

Probably one football field at most. It is only 25mw as it is designed for people to learn FPV flying.

Have a look at the video… now look at the bottom of the video… now look slightly below the bottom for a down triangle icon, or perhaps text that says “show more”. Every video on RUclips has a VIDEO DESCRIPTION where the author of the video places the LINK that you click on to access the product.

It is for beginners to FPV. You may be surprised but this is exactly how most of us learned how to fly FPV. It was for me (a cheap little Horizon Hobby brushed drone flying around the house)
