They really can be. They would argue well that's how I got rich! 😆 A little generosity never hurt nobody. I'd be embarrassed to tip poor if I were rich. Kinda shameful!
@@AustinDashesit's a mindset of greed and exploiting others for your own gain that gets you to be that wealthy. For them to feel shame they would have to see you as a person, and not a resource they can exploit.
Hey nice to meet you man. I enjoy making deliveries with these gig apps! Brings in extra cash to pay bills! Oh yeah I subscribed to your channel. Be safe!
It's definitely an enjoyable side hustle. Don't quit your day job! 😆 Great for weekend warriors or to do in the evening for a couple hours. It can add up. Thanks for watching! I subscribed back. Good luck on the channel and deliveries ✌️
Damn no wonder people complain about Austin prices being like CA or whatever. Got a bunch of rich mf over there. In my experience, the mega rich are usually never home. But their assistant / house keeper / whomever else is usually still around. Could be them, but idk I've never delivered to them. i work for a utility and sometimes we end up at super swanky houses. Homeowner never around and have to get in contact with whoever is watching the house.
@@AustinDashes yeah it was refreshing , love hearing we will be removing the customer from the platform for scamming and disabling her ability to remove the tip
Thanks so much! I plan to upload more. I'm gonna switch to another zone next week probably where I have worked a lot. Just to see if it's better with platinum. You'd be surprised though how many would take that order! Many would think the tip would go up 😂
@@wesleydiaz3050 there's just a lot of good options up there with the domain, arboretum and arbor walk. So many restaurants. When it's slow where I am I think man, if only I had dashed in North Burnet today 😂
With gig work like this it fluctuates a lot. Some days I can make $300 in 7-8 actual hours of being out in my car, less hours of actual delivery. I try to run these apps from 11-7 or 11-8. So usually about 8 hours and $200 minimum is the goal. I drive a 20 year old Prius that gets ok gas mileage still. Could be better if I did some maintenance 😄 I paid a few grand for it. I also own another vehicle. I've been doing this work for a number of years. Uber and Lyft full-time for 4-5 years and delivery for less. I'll do some future videos on numbers for you and anyone else curious. I track my miles with everlance. Thanks for watching! 🍻 Also, my gas expense stays under $100 on a weekly basis for a minimum of $1200 gross earnings. It's good to set aside maybe $100 for taxes so $1000 net. Not bad. $1200 is a "bad week"
Some people like to own their own businesses while other people like to work for the man and just be comfortable with a capped earning potential (barring raises). Food delivery is a low bar, low overhead small business that anyone can do and it often has a higher earning potential than most W2s if you know what you're doing. Of course I don't want to be in this business for life but a short while doesn't hurt. I can work the hours I want and focus on other businesses 👍
Rich people are the cheapest.

Good point! Never thought about that. Gotta figure out how to become a housesitter then lol
I keep getting tip baited more and more. Last one was a thumbs down, complaint and tip bait when I did absolutely nothing.
Wow that's nuts. I actually contact support and make sure that they unmatch me with customers like that so I never get the request again
I acutally just had this happen call support they had my back got me the full payout and banned the customer
@@Scrappygymrat that's awesome! Yeah tipbaiters need to be banned. Totally criminal

Those catering orders always increased the Tips!! I would take that for 16 miles, cuz I always got at least 10$ more :)
It's a gamble! That catering order was huge. I actually saw it at the store still when I picked up for a different customer
Great video. Phew thought were take 21 for 17 miles lol keep it up 👍

Hey there! I used to delivery in Austin! But DoorDash is not good for me! Which area do you work? :)
I prefer sunset valley #1, north Burnet #2, north loop #3, and central Austin #4
I definitely spend most of my time in sunset valley 😊
@@AustinDashes nice most time i spend on north burnet

So how many miles did you put on your vehicle?
Is this worth the fuel, wear and tear on your vehicle, plus your time invested waiting on the next job?

If you got an actual job, you wouldn’t be subjected to this.
