Hey there! I’m following you from Mad Dasher 😊. I was raised in Austin and watching you videos makes me KIND OF miss it. lol. I’m in San Antonio now and Multi app, cherry pick here. I’ve been doing gig work for just over 2yrs but new to the RUclips platform. I’ve done some gig work in Austin, Uber and Spark, and it’s nuts!! Have a blessed day!! Love your videos 💗🙏🏼😊
@@FlowWithRobin thanks Robin 😊 much love! Mad Dasher is a really nice guy I like his energy and he seems to really care about others. I wasn't raised in Texas, originally from Michigan but I've lived here a decent chunk of my life. I first moved to San Antonio in 2012. You might miss Austin but I miss San Antonio strangely 😆 just the better roads, less traffic, and I like downtown San Antonio better. Keep hustling out there! Gig work is a blessing
I am inspired by your positive demeanor. DD is not worth the negativity or stress if one wants to keep platinum status. I'm in a very small market that is more rural, with little city area. DD is the only app I use, as to use other apps (which I have tried) I must drive over an hour to be in a busier area. Honestly not worth the time for a gamble on getting goods orders. I do enjoy the city views in your videos and find them interesting. My 'country gal self' gets major anxiety from watching the areas you need to find parking....😂😂😂 I cannot fathom needing to do that daily.
@@mayberry1965 thank you! ❤️ Absolutely. With platinum it feels like you're going to the casino and the house always wins! 🙁 Just not a fun experience. Food delivery should be fun! Not about getting mad over silly games. Austin is fairly urban, definitely no Chicago or New York though. I couldn't imagine working a concrete jungle like that. With a little Prius though parking is easy! Haha. Thanks for watching ✌️
@@daproyaknow7056 is that where you work? Toronto? Probably good there. I am trying to get a full-time job I'm tired of doing gig full-time. I will do a $6 run if I can do it in 10 minutes or less
This is why I don't bother with the AR game on doordash - seeing people with high AR still getting shitty orders. My AR on DD is consistently in the 5 to 10% range and it serves me as mostly a filler app when I'm desperate. Uber eats is so much better. I get the occasional really good order only 1 mile on uber eats, usually two times a day. On doordash I get those really good orders with low mileage maybe two times a week.
@@peterlee3467 exactly. I see those amazing orders on Uber eats several times a day that I would see once a week, maybe even every other week on doordash. It's platinum REWARDS, that's how I get rewarded?? 🤣 It's a scam. You're smart. Keep doing what you're doing. I kept platinum as long as I did just to get those lunch catering orders but they don't send them as consistently now. It's not worth it.

With costco sometimes you can get lucky! on the same Tuesday i catched a double Costco order for dowtown for 60$
😮 holy crap! Yeah you're not lying. If you can be patient you see some really good ones from that Costco on instacart or ubereats
