Hi, I have an Epson L1800 dtf printer. What format must the files be in so that the print comes out ok? On some designs it comes out good on others not. On those who do not go well, when we go to put on the shirt, the sheet does not peel off easily and it takes a bit of print with it. Can you tell me how to solve? Thank you
I just made some dtf printing but I noticed the white turns grey and very opaque when I apply the transfers on black/dark shirts. Any idea why that happens?
Not enough white inks and also dye migration. Try heat at lower temp and time say 140c 8s but depending on your PET film and Glue powder requirement as well.
if single image then use DTG better unless u have other than cotton material that pretreatment wont work. If logos then very worth it cause one film can have multiple logos then u just heat only. Dont have to pretreat 1by1.
@@amedionteo thanks for ur reply bro. they convert L1800 not L1300. pls help me send any video who do that thanks bro. working from bedok north before.
We have 2 GTX’s and recently bought the dtf film and hot melt powder but would love to see a couple more videos of how you do it. When I created the cmyk image and put the setting on 2 ink volume and 1 double print the color ink came out a little spotty. Any thoughts, or recommendations? Also, when we put the powder on I had a hard time getting the excess powder off the areas that did Int even have ink on it.
@@lincolnwalters make sure you're printing on the correct side. The matte area is the print side. Try to pour the powder evenly instead of doing it like i did.
With CADlink Digital Factory v10 Apparel, Brother Edition we can send the data as a single print job, no need to send 2 files to the printer. We also will offer DTF print modes that allow you to also include halftone holes and stripes to your designs, something you cannot to with Graphics Lab. I cannot recommend this printer for business. This is only for hobbyist and no intention to make money. My opinion only. The machine is to expensive ang it takes a lot of maintenance and the material is to expensive. clients cannot afford to pay for the output. So many ways to print with the almost same qauality. You have to bear in mind that this is still inkjet.
Depends on what business you're doing. If you're getting this printer to print volume vs screen printing/heat transfer then of course this is not for you. When you have the market such as print on demand then you will definitely opt for this printer. In my case, i have many clients doing good doing print on demand and also some thinks like you where they trying to fight different printing market.
Excellent explanation Amedion.Thank youuu
Thanks
Love the videos. Super helpful and you had me laughing when you tore the shirt 😂
hello would you have any top settings to do dtf with the gtx thank you
Been awhile since i use gtx for DTF. You gotta try search for most recent workable settings. Also depends on the film that youre using.
Hey man, I got epson f2160 dtg printer .. can I print dtf on it??
They sell black powder adhesive for dark garments by the way. Less noticeable
GoonLife for daily print videos !!! Real advice
I want one of those for Christmas 😭
Have you ever had any registration issues? I am having problems. The top part of platen is out of reg. the bottom is fine. Doesn’t make sense
No issue at all. Your film lay down flat?
What is the oven you use and why do you use that?
Its just normal cooking oven. For users who dont want to invest on the big heater.
Do you use oven for dtg shirts to cure ink ?
Will screen printing powder adhesive work for this?

Hey Teo! Thanks very much for the video.
You make some cool videos bro, keep it up! What do you think of the new epson f3070, we run few printers in UK ,
Depends on your business. If you have the space and budget for conveyor then its good. I still prefer Brother GTX
How many wash before the design fade? Will it last long?
Depending on the ink you use. Ours don't see sign of fading yet after several washes.
Hi. Great Video. Can you recommend a supplier for the PET film? Thanks
You will need to source from your local dealer. I got it from my local supplier
Great video...thanks for doing this. Did you figure out why there was too much white ink on the final print at the end of the video?
Yeah i used level 3 white volume

Preheated
Can i use gt3 for that?
I follow your setting preset 100% but the ink still smearing on cmyk and white, I'm waiting for cmyk about 1 min to dry but still wet and smearing

No need to pretreat with this process?
Is this process a good option for printing on 100% polyester or poly blends?
Nope you don't have to pretreat if using DTF. The glue will do the job. Careful when pressing on polyester due to Dye migration.
is it really worth all that time and steps instead of just printing the shirt?

Cheers
I only use Graphic labs for this testing. I heard cadlink can do it in a pass but i dont have it to try.
Hi. Can these be transfered on plastic with a hot gun? Thanks
I don't think it sticks well on plastic.
Do you need to reverse the image in photoshop before laying down the CMYK and White on the film?
Yea you will need to mirror the image first. Sorry I didn't mention in the video.
