They're solid lids. I've had mine for 6-7 months now, did a lot of stainless RMD / FCAW pipe welding with it. Going to be going into a bunch of pipelining and ill be using mine there too. Tefuawe so far is killing it in everything.
Just purchased,, installing lens is a effin nightmare ! Instructions say squeeze retain spring . Might as well say take raw diamond and cut to shape .. tried just about everything butter knife, small screw drivers sure can't do it by hand . Finally got the so called springs out by jamming screw driver in one side . This without lenses I can only imagine when I gotta change clear lens end up snapping the whole dam works . Pissed
I received my tefuawe hood Monday. Matched it up with a 5813 gold auto lens and Im very impressed. I would like to upgrade headgear and fasteners. But awsome job great for the everyday welder. Weld on! 👍
Can you please do a respirator review for this helmet, please. I bought this helmet and like it, until I put on a respirator. It sits too high, and I can't see what I'm welding. Maybe if you can do a review on low profile respirators, that would be amazing. Or if you had any tips to help me out, I would appreciate it. Thanks
How long did shipping take I ordered mine a few days ago from their website and then realized it was coming from China. I ordered a f10.5 lens on Amazon from them but it wouldn't fit in my huntsman hood so I ended up buying their hood too from their website.

It's a true color if your looking for a Blue puddle gold lens I would recommend the wens lens or apex gold

This helmet is just a helmet.you can add a 2x4 auto darkening lens to make it auto darkening or a passive lens the choice is yours
