This video is incredibly informative! I had no idea how small mistakes could impact the taste and health benefits of eggs. Thanks for the practical tips!
A lot of country people leave their eggs out on the counter and don't put them in the refrigerator, same with their butter. Also people who raise chickens and let them free range or roam is a problem cause they lay eggs all over the place, under bushes and weeds etc. It could be days before you spot them and collect them. Also it will attract snakes to eat your eggs.
You're so right! Leaving eggs out and free-ranging chickens can definitely be tricky. Freshly laid eggs with the bloom intact can stay safe on the counter, but if they've been sitting outside for days, it’s risky. And yes, snakes love those hidden eggs! It’s a balancing act between letting chickens roam freely and keeping things safe and organized.
First, don't you monitor your chicken coops to make sure there's no salmonella there? Second, you can test the freshness of an egg by putting it in a container of water. A fresh egg will sink, a spoiled one will float. Third, if the eggs haven't been washed, like in Europe, you can store them at room temperature, where they'll last for about a month.
To test for egg freshness press the fat end of t he egg to your lips it should feel slightly w arm where as the pointy end should feel cooler. I tried it it works

When you boil put a small pin hole in end where air sack is. The more round end. Put I to boiling water and shell will never cracked and break.
