I was a die hard GM guy until I got my 2019 Raptor. I’d love to tell you that it was the biggest pile of crap on 4 tires, but I just can’t (and still be honest). Ran perfectly for 100k miles, not a single warranty claim or repair beyond normal maintenance. At 100k, I started having cam phaser noise and the heated seat on the driver’s side went out. I ordered my 2024 back at the end of Oct ‘23 and it arrived at the end of March 24’. I have 4k miles on the new one and still no warranty issues. I’m amazed at the improvements on the 24 on what was already a great truck. I upgraded and got the Raptor 37 package and have been super happy with the truck.

I’ve got the’17 Gen 2 loaded out 802b etc. Same as this one. Blk blk Been a great vehicle. Before this I’d always driven Benz, Porsche, Audi, etc but after the last hurricane in Houston flooded out my sedan I went to the Raptor and haven’t looked back. My next one will be a Raptor as well, despite the price. Have full warranty through 120k miles. I’m at 85k, and will keep it one more year. Highly recommend.

105 k on mine gen 2 and it looks damn near brand new has a few rock chips here and there. Cam phaser issue at 97k and it was covered from ford, i do have the extended warranty though. I get 16.4 on average with auto shut off always turned off and drive in comfort mode all the time unless i want to fly by people then ill switch to sport on the fly when needed, do expect harder shifts while in sport and it should be driven hard in sport its what the truck needs. In my opinion gen 2 looks way better less boxy all the amber makers are smaller but still bright gen 3 looks like all amber makers are huge. Pretty much same performance gen 3 vs gen 2 unless your getting a raptor R. Gen 2 is more curvy/sleek looking. 37 plus is harder long term on all components plus you get less travel less mpg i personally don't think the trade off is worth it. Unless your offroad only and don't care about countless repairs. Gen 3 screen upgrades are nice though lol. Love raptors they'll do almost whatever you throw at them.

The 2020 they already fixed the cam phasers, mine made 437whp/491rwtq on a mustang dyno w/ a very conservative 93 octane Gearhead tune. Has had the tune since 3k miles lol.

Nothing major from what I have seen most I have heard of it running chain cam phasers and after like 180k miles might blow a turbo seal

Ford paint is absolute garbage now. My 2019 mustang is my daily and its showing its mileage now haha. Sweet truck.

Yeah, unfortunately investing in ceramic and PPF for S550's is kind of crucial. They're not 'terrible,' but the quality definitely has gone down

The gen 3 should of been updated with power and torque. Ford dropped the ball on that one. I do love my 17 Raptor though. Have loved my v-8 f150's also. They could of made the Raptor R even more powerful than 700 Hp... Ford updated the shocks on the 19 to live valve. Pissed me off, lol. The comments on the moonroof were off, most people have had issues with noise/rattleing. Not water issues.. This youtuber seems like a spoiled kid...
