With the Sheetgo inventory management template for Excel, you can quickly monitor your stock levels and automate inventory management in one ready-made automated workflow. Sheetgo automatically transfers the data from both check-in and check-out files into the Master Sheet, where you have a comprehensive overview of your stock levels. What’s more, the Sheetgo template offers a Dashboard feature to help you visually track and key inventory metrics, such as how many items you have in stock, which items are sold out and how many items are being checked out each day. Once your template is set up, share the check-in file with your warehouse team and the check-out file with your sales team to begin your inventory management. You can either edit the files in your browser (online), or you can work in the template on your desktop version of the Excel files, whichever you prefer. Both ways will update the master sheet and dashboard automatically with your inventory data. Finally, you can schedule automatic updates so that you always receive the latest data from each file without having to lift a finger!

Is there a solution that also tracks costs / sell price?. EX: We stock ~(1000) electrical switches. Ideally we would purchase (100) per order. and we sell (xx) per order at 130% of cost price. Prices often vary, so a FIFO (first-in-first-out) would be best. Bonus points if we can "allocate" per project while sale is waiting on quote confirmation. Once PO received, these items will be "checked out" (maybe w/ barcode scanner). Hope that is not too complicated.

Hi there! Yes, as shown in the video, simply open the template in your offline Excel files and save them on your desktop for example. You'll be able to use the template both on your desktop and in the online browser.

Can the template work inside a shared G Drive?

Hi there! Our templates can easily be shared entirely. Inside the Sheetgo web app, simply click Share to share the entire workflow (and all of the files in it). Each person you shared it with, will then also find the "Sheetgo templates" folder in their Drive. Let me know if you have more questions!
