Leila, first off all, thank you for all your valuable contributions. I am preparing a workbook with 53 worksheets. One for each week of the year and one summary. I started designing the weeks format, all of them equal, just for the information, and the summary sheet. Then I wanted to do it fast and wrote an script which copy the first week, name it week2 and try to write a formula on summary that will sum a range on the new sheet. As I am creating a new sheet I need to name it. I create a variable, 'nombre = "Week" & n, where n is the week number. Then I select the correspondent cell in summary and try the following variables to write at summary: contract = "=SUM(" & nombre & "!R16C2:R16C11)", also, contract = "=SUM(Week2!B16:K16)" and ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=SUM('Week " & Str(n) & "!R[10]C[-2]:R[10]C[7])" among others. Nothing work. I recorded a macro and then copy the result to my script. Didn't work. Please help me with this issue. THANK YOU again for all your effort, for being so nice with us sharing some of your knowledge.
I spent several days last week wondering why my forumla wouldn't work. My Microsoft Office suite is in Finnish... First thing tomorrow I install the Functions Translator! Thanks! :D
Hi Lela, your videos are really awesome and practical. Love it very much! If I may suggest, can you provide video on how to speed up excel with big data (100 MB) with macros. Thanks!
Everything you do is useful...no kidding, I've used so many of your tactics and secrets daily in performing my job...what a great treasure you are for me and my company...I like your coffee mug...I don't give a, got one at home...haha!
Hi Leila, your latest video was once again impressive and I am grateful for the valuable insights and information you provide. I have been utilizing the Zebra BI Charts add-in and would greatly appreciate it if you could create a video tutorial on its features and how to use it effectively. Blessings.
@@ZebraBI I am truly grateful for your prompt response. The information provided on the Zebra BI Charts add-in has been extremely helpful and my CEO is immensely impressed with the dashboards I have been able to create with it.
@@stevehaughton360 I couldn't find it either. It's now listed as "Excel Labs". When you add it, it then calls itself "Advanced Formula Environment", lol.
Thanks! so many ideas and suggestions and you hit users of all levels. and your presentations are so clear and polished. really top shelf. thank you. rw
In looking for Advanced Formula Environment, I saw a listing for Formula Forge. This add-in looks promising for those trying to understand more complex formulas they find, in particular with the graph view.
Really useful video. I've been looking for an easy way to transfer a lot of results of Excel formulas to Word. I'm definitely going to try Excel -to-Word. I've got high hopes. Wish me luck, but in any case, thanks!!
as always, killer video! Quick question for the room...I am having trouble finding the advanced formula environment addon in the store. Am I missing something?
thank you for the advice and the video. I'm also curios about the advanced formulas. It's extremely helpful to exist, but having to copy them from workbook to workbook to workbook seems silly. Is there a way to create these and have them exist system wide?
The only thing I know of that can be system wide is macros. Macros can be stored in your "Personal" workbook and from there be accessible from any other workbook you have open. (Macros can also be added to the Quick Access Toolbar). Using macros as a workaround, the formula could be made into a macro, and it could be designed to be implement in each cell selected when the macro is run. I too would be interested in a way to store formulas across Excel workbooks and deploy them where needed without copying and pasting.
Great Video Leila, Keep up the amazing work always. You inspired me to do more videos about some ideas about how to use add-ons in data analytics. ♥️♥️

This is a really great video. The only downside is that most of these would be useful in work environments but my workplace has disabled add-ons
Wonderful. I was working on a project, and I learnt everything I know in excel from you.

Never even thought about addins for excel. So a big thankyou. Wikipedia is 1st for me.
