Keanu reeves and Tom Hanks are both good people but Alec Baldwin who is loved by liberals for mocking trump is a jerk. Chevy chase a lovable Hollywood actor right ? No most of these guys are liberals and awful people. Hollywood are full of fake phony people Who are stuck up and mean spirited They make trump the bad guy but they themselves are terrible people
“The United States has become a place where entertainers and professional athletes are mistaken for people of importance.” --Robert A. Heinlein And some of those entertainers and athletes even believe it themselves.
I've always said that Actors and athletes aren't people to listen to. They are nothing but entertainers and do nothing to further humanity. The people who really matter are those that help humanity reach a goal of longevity and prosperous means. Scientist, doctors, cops, firemen, any first responder, men and women in the military, these are the folks to idolize and listen to.
Well that's exactly it - once they start believing their own bull they're lost to the world. The real world doesn't even penetrate their environment - they live in a bubble of bullshit. I'd cross the street to avoid encountering most of them. Thankfully some of the silly rituals the media perpetrated have faded away. Like sticking a microphone under the chin of some burnt out drug addled often tripping old rock star and asking him the meaning of life.
a friend of mine (who passed away 5 years ago), was a lighting technician and had worked on many huge budget flicks. the Indiana Jones trilogy, batman, many many others.., and one day i asked him the very question posed here: who's the nicest actor in Hollywood. and without missing a beat he said Patrick Swayze. He said the man was just overflowing with love and kindness for all.
I'd heard good things about Swayze, RIP. There are many good people in the world of acting. Obviously, there are a number of people who are not. We shouldn't label all actors as psychopaths any more than we should any profession.
Kindest I've worked with are Sandy Bullock and Hugh Jackman. Both are aces. Genuinely nice nice people and very aware of the power of their star status. Sandy would eat more with the extras on our film than any of the other actors at craft services. She would ask them questions about their lives and remember stuff about their parents/family/etc and ask follow up questions like weeks later. She's just very human, down to earth, and sweet. She's also a good tipper. Hugh is ALWAYS in a good mood. Never seen him not in a good mood. Maybe he's just so good of an actor that I don't know it! Also very down to earth. In a group setting Hugh just wants to be "one of the guys" and I honestly think that he thinks that he is sometimes! But the rest of us know he is Hugh. lol He will do a very serious scene and when the director calls "cut" he will explode into a song and dance number to alleviate the tension in the room. haha. He really is fun to work with. I've also enjoyed William Shatner, actually, as long as he isn't drinking. Even then he is still fun but he can over serve himself. He is so knowledgeable and has just seen it all. He can also be very funny. I've never had a bad run in with Bill. The most outrageous i've worked with has to be John Malkovich. Just because he is a LOT like his weird characters. He is just like a caricature of himself. He takes things to extreme and for him it's just normal but we're all left scratching our heads. He can be very particular and stubborn (and shall we say Diva-ish) when he wants to be, but his life is so fantastical. It's like he's always in character.
meisterblu I want to hear your life story friend! This sounds like the kind of stuff that would make an incredible documentary. I live in a Small town in Australia and the closest I've ever been to a "famous" person is my cousin sat next to one of the hosts of "the footy show" once lol
My dad happened to find himself standing in line next to Bruce Willis in a coffee shop. Dad didn’t talk to him about being a famous actor or anything like that; he just talked about the sweet classic car in the parking lot that Bruce drove up in. Dad said he was just a nice, normal guy making small talk with a stranger about cool cars. Of course, my dad was wise enough to treat the man like he would any random stranger, rather than talk to him as if he were some A list celebrity.
Of course he would stand in a coffee shop. Actors want to be regular people if they can. The coffee shop was probably in Idaho where he has lived for quite awhile now. Most likely the locals treat him like a neighbor and don’t bother him, thus allowing him to live something of a normal life.
This is the key to any interaction with any human, really…just be a dude. Don’t be overbearing or annoying. If the first words you ever heard out of someone’s mouth were “I don’t want to bother you BUT”, what would you think? Some people know how to read the room and some don’t. Clearly, your dad falls into that former category.
I went to high school with Steven Seagal, it's really Segal, he was a jerk then and still is. UGH The worst part was his dad was my algebra teacher. Both were impossible
In my teens I liked his movies, but now I can´t watch them anymore and especially when I know what a jerk he is I really don´t like that creature. Thank you Jackie for sharing this story of yours.
My mother was on Broadway with Mandy Patinkin and according to her he was nothing but a sweetheart to the entire cast and everybody there. In fact, it was her first Broadway show and he was one of the nicest and most welcoming ones there.
Skipper... You know I think its like any human being. They have good days and bad days I'm sure and not everyone relates in the same way. Nice story about your mom's experience.
All he's doing in his low budget movie is face filming, in rest double for " fights" , double for acting the rest, as long you cannot see his face; hi has a lot of dark makeup to make him look slimmer and flirting with any attractive woman on the set, sleeping around a lot. If someone turn him down , is fired.
If an actor or actress is "impossible to work with", no problem! Don't hire him or her for future film roles. We don't need prima donnas making ridiculous salaries.
@@Jade-ig9lq There are lots of great actors. The problem is that in many cases, performers are hired for roles and entire projects specifically for them, and they know it.
In 1974 in Westwood my sister and I happened to be waiting for a "walk/don't walk" sign to change while standing next to Steve McQueen arm in arm With Ali McGraw. They were a big deal at the time and said hello to us very nicely. It was our brush with Hollywood and will always be a great memory.
In 1958, my 29 year old aunt ran into Natalie Wood & Robert Wagner in NYC! He was friendly, but Natalie grew inpatient with Wagner's attention! I have also met a number of actors, i.e. Jerry Seinfeld, Andie McDowell in Beverly Hills & numerous others who were either friendly or impatient!
On the other side of the coin, Keanu Reeves is the nicest bloke in Hollywood. Clint Eastwood, Guy Pearce & Hugh Jackman are consumate gentleman. Sigourney Weaver takes her time to advise and support up and coming actors and Michael Cain is pure class.
Two Aussies in there, I think they are head and tails above Americans in treating all people the same, same with most Brits! A family member of mine who has worked with many "stars" said Jackman is one of the most genuinely nice guys he ever met, famous or not.
I was an extra on Criminal Minds once, and Mandy was really nice to everyone on set. He had a box of candy that was gifted to him, and he offered everyone a piece, even the extras, whom he would likely never see again. I think the fact that he admitted to being "abominable" on a show that aired years and years ago (1994-2000), indicates self-awareness and changing of ways.
I met the Roadrunner once at a bird seed store and he said the Coyote was just as big of jerk in real life as he was on the show. I was surprised as many times the character one plays is the opposite of how they really are.
Wile E. had always been pretty full of himself. Some had originally thought he was a mute, but he just refused to speak on camera, until Chuck Jones finally bullied him into it over a contract negotiation. Seriously, though, actors do often seem to play roles that are the opposite of how they are in real life. Call it...performance catharsis (ooohh, did I just coin a term??).
I worked at Lake Arrowhead for many years at the marina there and had the opportunity to meet many celebrities in the time I was there, for a few years Patrick Swayze had a house and a dock and he had a sailboat he would come up and use occasionally, I met him one day when he asked me if I worked there and he was like, hey man please do me a favor, if anyone is looking for me please tell them you haven't seen me, I need to hang out on my boat and kick back and relax. I was like no problem and he shook my hand and thanked me. A couple years later I actually had the honer of having a few beers with him and talking with him about his movies, the guy was a huge movie star but he was way cool! He had this great sense of humor and his personality was awesome but he was also very courteous and respectful towards me and other people, one night me and another dude I worked with sat in his sailboat which was drydocked at the time and drank beers and Patrick had his close friend there Brian who was cool too, damn we laughed and had a great time, I'll never forget that, I was really bummed when he passed away, but shit I have great memories that I actually knew a very famous but more importantly down to earth person
I have always thought he had a great normal life as he could considering. I met him and his wife Lisa Niemi in junior high school with my little brother during a layover in an airport right before Ghost came out, they were so nice to us. We were trying to figure out if that was "Johnny" from Dirty Dancing .... his wife was like "that's the guy that you think he is. Want to get an autograph?" So nice.
Ah, Steven Seagal. He once bragged to Judo-master Gene LeBell that his Aikido-training makes him immune to being choked. LeBell then choked Seagal, which caused him to fall unconscious and shit his pants (literally!).
Johnny Depp, Jack Black, Ernie Hudson, Emma Stone, Jessica Chastain, Bryce Dallas Howard, Robert Downey, Jr., Matt Smith, Emma Watson, Seth MacFarlane, Mark Hamill, Danny Trejo, Kristen Wiig, J.K Simmons, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pratt, Jeff Goldblum, Tom Hanks
Kim Basinger said that Alec Baldwin was such an abusive husband to her that she had panic attacks for years afterward. He literally gave his wife PTSD.
+Chewable Jim Yeah & when he was asked about his divorce he said "This is literally the worst thing that has ever happened to me"..... like it was "done" to him. I didn't know anything about his abusive personality back then & when I heard him say that, I thought "Dude, there are 2 people in a relationship. What part did you play to bring this about? Divorces don't HAPPEN to people, they take part in everything that leads up to the divorce, so I'm sorry mate but it would seem that you're just throwing a pity party there coz you don't even seem to understand what a marriage even IS"... and I find out how right I was. The saddest thing is that this man probably still hasn't figured any of this out either.
Mandy Patinkin was nothing but gracious to me as a young actor. He was friendly, kind and generous and I observed him treating all the other actors on set exactly the same. Regarding his bad behavior, I never saw it, but at least he admits it was unacceptable. I just don't want people to think he's not a nice guy.
Sometimes we are harder on ourselves than is necessary. In his case(mine too)in striving for 'perfection' we overreact if those "in the moment" NEEDS aren't met with the same level of passion. Like popping someone's balloon instead of playing with it. It's not always my fault if I become 'edgy' at certain times. It is my fault if I don't handle it well. So yes, owning it is a big part of the solution.
The author of this video clearly did zero research beyond reading tabloid bullshit. Another example, Shia Labeouf got in a "fist fight" with Brad Pitt (along with the rest of the main cast of Fury) at the request of the director as a bonding exercise. Smh every time I watch a video on this channel, I remember why I avoid this channel
Mandy Patinkin has the guts to question the Zionist exercise publicly, while his TV replacement Joe "Fat Tony" Mantegna literally attends fundraisers for the Israeli "Defence" Force. Maybe that's why he's on this list.
Patinkin left Criminal Minds because he felt the show was too dark and was having a psychological toll on him. I kind of respect that. IIRC he spoke to the director who wouldn't obviously change the script, so he felt he had to walk.
I've worked background in Hollywood. Paltrow is widely known to be horrible to work with. She's insecure and domineering, especially about other women. She once had a background performer fired because - get this - the woman had hair similar to hers. Spoiled Hollywood princess x 1000. Terrible actress, too.
The less talent, the bigger the ego. REAL stars don't need to be arrogant or needy. Genuine stars are generous to everyone on and off set. Their talent speaks for them.
Sounds wonderful. But, unfortunately, is not actually accurate. Some really talented performers are the worst a-holes. See: Gene Kelly, Mandy Patinkin, Alec Baldwin, Jack Nicholson, Bruce Willis. Mike Myers and Chevy Chase are really talented comedians, too. There are many other entertainers who are very gifted, and despite this--or maybe because of it--they are divas or jerks to work with.
Whilst he is well known as a truly bad actor, most of the time in the fight scenes he doesn't bother acting at all and just smashes into the extras and stunt doubles full force. He is, to use a technical term, an utter cunt.
I've worked as an extra with Alec Baldwin, Mandy Patinkin, and Bruce Willis. Alec is an incredible asshole. Mandy is very much into method and gets annoyed when someone pulls him oot of character, so I can't blame him, but I like working with actors who can turn it on and off like a switch and not have to be in character 24/7. Bruce was the nicest guy and even sat with the extras at lunch and gave us advice. Henry Winkler (not mentioned here) was also very kind to everyone and included us in his home movies that he shoots while on set.
Awesome! I had sex with Obama, Ate Lunch with god himself, and took the virgin out of the virgin mary once. Obama was a prick, God cant get out of character and mary was really the nicest girl who sat down and gave everyone tips on how to pretend you get pregnant by a ghost instead of the guy next door. was a blast!
As a kid we didn't have cable so i use to watch The Streets of San Francisco reruns with Michael Douglas and Karl Malden. I met Karl Malden when I was 8 at Sundance Ski resort in Utah. He was eating, but he stopped and talked to me about acting and stunts. He was very kind, funny and generous with his time. Ive met several other celebrities in my life but he will always be #1. RIP Mr. Malden.
I met Michael Douglas when I was 20 at a college-media event around "Romancing the Stone." As regular a guy as could be. When the interview stuff was done, he wanted to hang out at talk college basketball. Was especially interested in UC Irvine, which had a first-team All-American that year.
Shia has made clear more than once that they had a pretty good relationship and Hardy hurt his back while they were wrestling for fun. Story goes Shia knocked Hardy out, which doesn’t really compute with Hardy showing up on set with a hurt back but bruise free face.
Hardy played a brutal serial killer..he could've ' gone full method actor ' and strangled Shia easily..is that what SL actually wanted ? For someone to end him and put him out of his misery ? Why's Shia so angry ?
Bruce Willis wanted 4 million for 4 days of work for Expendables. Stallone offered him 3 million and told him that he would get to film all of his scenes concurrently so he wouldn't have to wait around. Only in a fantasy realm could I see somebody turning down 3 million dollars for 4 days of work.
Directors loved having Jack Elam on a film because he made everyone else happy: funny guy too. I remember an interview with a chauffeur at Heathrow, he said David Niven made everyone feel like a king.
I worked at the Connaught in London and David used to pick up his laundry and walk past staff on the stairs and greeted us with a smile. He was a gentleman!
Hollywood... home of the far too rich, the far too famous, the far too spoiled ... who would be failures if not for the fans who support their far too expensive lifestyles! Power and money corrupt! This video sure hits home on that fact!
I totally agree! If it wasn't for people who liked them enough to make them rich and famous they would be failures. I don't care who you are or what you think you are, you will not have the chance to disrespect me. I'll have no problem treating them worse tenfold!
I was asked to assist the musicians at a Mandy Patinkin concert/Q and A when he came to town. I had never experienced anyone so full of themselves as he was. He gladly spoke of how talented and famous he was. It was sickening, especially as the venue is one of the best music schools in the United States. I hear, though, that he figured it out and turned his act around. Good for him. Yo-Yo Ma, James Galway, Chris Daughtry VERY easy to work with.
I remember 'big head' Val Kilmer boasting on British TV how he could easily beat any T.V . presenter in a tennis match. He went rather quiet when presenter Andrew Castle a former tennis pro took him up on his offer, the silence was deafening.
Mandy Patankin....i've worked with him a few times and i thought he was a pretty good guy. Yes, he was a serious actor, but not a jerk at all. Not above small interesting chit chat with people he didn't have to (like myself at the time). I thought he was quite nice. Sometimes he would actually stick up for people when the director was being a dick...so i think this estimation of him is wrong.
Oh my gosh did you not hear how covid wrecked Gwynith’s life?! I mean she actually ate bread and pasta on occasion and had two cocktails a night!! Oh my gosh the absolute horror of covid. When will her nightmare end?!!🤬🤬
How could her life be anything but healthy and happy with her infused magical waters, jade eggs and other expensive fakery "wellness" products? She looks like she survives on cheap imported cigarettes and lots of alcohol 24/7.
Add one more - for treating waitresses poorly! Back in the late '80's I worked for Hof's Hut in Long Beach, and Vicki Lawrence used to come in with a very high and mighty attitude. To prove that attitude doesn't have anything to do with actual talent or value, others frequented the coffee shop, too - Raquel Welch was nice. Neutral, not overly warm, but she had a headache and took a couple of aspirin offered by a co-worker. Buddy Ebsen was a regular, liked his milkshakes thick. Mr. Ebsen was shy and soft-spoken, as humble as they come.
Most of these types of people are huge narcissists. They probably didn't start out that way but after becoming popular they 'started believing their own press'. They started seeing themselves as intellectual, elitist types (with lots of $$) and that's why we see so many claiming to know what's best for everyone (a.k.a. 'virtue signaling'). The media hypes them up non stop and 'fans' fawn over them as if they were gods! Personally, I see these types as useless in the real world. They probably couldn't save their own life in a survival situation or even change a flat tire! "When we lose our humility we lose our humanity."
I hope to God my life never gets so empty and meaningless that I have to live vicariously through some fictional character in a movie. I feel pity for the "fans" who treat celebrities like they were blessed with a wisdom about political and social issues we peons could never hope to attain, and find the popularity of celebrity oriented magazines like People and Us utterly laughable.
Honestly I hate when paparazzi stalk celebs to no end and surround them while they try to get to their cars. I have very little sympathy when they get their ass handed to them.
All y’all, get a clue! How do you think multiple paparazzi from different venues show up at a stars gym, grocery store, or flight? Ever watch TMZ? Hello? The stars PR companies or the stars themselves FAX their schedules to the press groups aka paparazzis. Several times where a famous person assaulted a paparazzi taking pictures or a photographer was accused of a crime, all charges against the paparazzi were dropped when they produced the FAX’s showing who when and where the stars would be, sometimes sent by the stars themselves. Before you roast me over a fire... of course not all the time... but certainly most of the time. So before you start hating the paparazzi, photographers, keep in mind they are just doing their job and there is no such thing as bad press. Famous people WANT the press there, their agent want the press there. Hello?
I do not know of anybody who has been on a set with Segal who has anything good to say about him. I totally boycott his movies, although fairly easy to do, since they are mostly crap.
Segal was untouchable in every movie I seen. That guy never took a hit. I'm sure that was his doing. Always annoyed me at least van dam took a hit in many movies
Other infamously difficult actors are: Wesley Snipes, who was especially notorious on the set of "Blade: Trinity" for intentionally making life difficult for everyone; Edward Norton who is known for being extremely controlling and egotistical, so much so that he is enemies with the director of "American History X" and got fired by Marvel after "The Incredible Hulk"; Shannen Dorherty who was fired from both "90210" and "Charmed" for her feuds with cast-mates.
Edward Norton gets a pass, he is a great actor (unlike the rest of these people) and had good reason to want to push things in a different direction. Apparently a lot of the best scenes in AHX came from his ad libs and changes to script, and the Hulk movie was atrocious. His poking fun at the whole notion through taking that role in Birdman was priceless.
Snipes is a racist as well as a jackass. Edward Norton tho is a fantastic actor, i'd put up with controlling and egotistical to work with him. And the director of American History X never wanted Norton in the first place, he had it in for him before he was cast for that role. (which he was fucking amazing in, btw)
I started to go into acting myself because I was in drama class in high school and loved it. But when I saw just how hard it was to be discovered and all the drugs involved I decided it just wasn't worth it. I chose the US Military instead and I don't regret it one bit.
Smart man. Hollywood & politics are the lowest rung on the ladder. Most are phonies. They idolize the dollar and stroke each other's egos. Give a few bucks to a charity and are praised for days. Tell you what is good for you cuz you can't think for yourself. Could go on & on... this started before you were born & will continue after you're gone. Smoke & mirrors......
I've met Henry Winkler, and he is seriously the NICEST guy you will ever meet. He's really a funny guy, too, if you can get him to tell you some stories. He loves to go fishing! I adore that man.
When I was very young, indeed, in my youth (I´m now 63 years old) I loved and adored, singers, actresses and actors. But since I became an adult, indeed, became awake, I finally realised, that adoring and loving celebrities, merely made me feel insecure, inferior, subservient and think of myself as, basically, worthless! I´ve now grown up, have you?
I watched criminal minds a couple of times and found it so violent and sick I couldn't watch it again. Mandy apparently walked off because he felt he had been mislead about what the show was about. He found it too violent and his belief system kicked in and he decided he didn't want to promote that much violence. I admired him for that. Actors rarely display a sense of morality and he seemed to care about the audiences and the kids in the audience. I applaud him sticking up for what he believed in.
That's crap! As an actor let me tell you first of all if you take a job, you do it - NO SMALL ROLES! 2nd) If he truly felt that way, that's when you talk it out. Ask to be written out; speak to your agent. Figure things out. Don't just walk off set - that's time wasted and time is money on set - BIG MONEY! That's actors etiquette 101. I'm surprised he's ever allowed to work again. Showbiz is unforgiving in most situations. The extras don't get 2nd chances are neither do we. That's called unprofessionalism and if that's how you want to be remembered so be it, you'll be forgotten just as fast. That makes me so mad to read when actors just walk off set, or show up late like Tom Welling on the set of Smallville. This shit needs to be taken seriously; it's not a game.
Its a show about FBI agents investigating murders & taking down violent felons....You gotta expect to see violence, torture, serial killers, kidnappings, etc. I had also heard he (Mandy) had several fights with Thomas Gibson on set, so yeah.. totally believe the guy is a pompous ass
Gee, so sorry the reality of how murderous psychopaths treat other human beings, while committing crimes so abominable the FBI has to intervene was...too much for him. Seriously, WTF did he expect?
i've only seen a few episodes of this show and its about serial killers and stuff.. I mean its a show called "criminal minds"...what did he think it was gonna be about ? flowers and rainbows? lmaooo
I can only comment on what I've seen personally, and this is what I've seen: I've seen Val Kilmer punch his wife in the face outside of a restaurant in Santa Fe, New Mexico back in the early 1990's. A couple of years later, myself & some other bystanders in Santa Barbara, CA saw him do the same thing to his then pregnant wife, knock her down on the sidewalk & leave her there. We helped her up, called the police & made sure she received medical attention. Her name is Joanne Whalley & she is a real delicate sweetheart. Sure, he can act, but this guy's one of the biggest D-Bags around. And before all of this? I was a huge fan! There's a huge difference between "method acting onset" & being a real bastard in real life. Peace. JR
@Jonny Roxx Well, one day that shitehead Kilmer will find an Olivia Benson on his path and end up in the clink with a restrictive order and some bruises on his sorry arse. Wait and see.
Gavichap Well if it makes you happy karma got him. He barely survived throat cancer and can barely talk now. He’s like one of those “don’t smoke” commercials.
He said he hasn’t dated in 17 years. I guess that’s the reason why. Btw, I had a Brazilian neighbor who use to take care of his kids. He worked for Joanne. He told me Val is a narcissist. I think most of these actors on the list are.
I have met Val Kilmer several times and he has always been kind, friendly and courteous to me and my wife. I know him to be generous tipper too. Not saying these people are wrong but just that there's a good side to him as well.
I actually heard a story where he refused to pay his whole bill at a restaurant and when they asked him to pay up, he said "Do you know who I am?" and left.
I worked with Val Kilmer once in 2006 and he was nothing but nice to me! I know he has a reputation of being difficult, but that wasn’t the case that day.
I was never particularly a fan of Keanu Reeves, didn't really think of him at all. However the more I see of him in interviews and elsewhere the more I get why he has his reputation of being the nicest guy in Hollywood. He seems really lovely, humble, and just normal with none of the big ego that one can see from some stars. He is really growing on me the more I see of him and I love hearing stories like the one where he went half hour out of his way to give a stranger a life to help her out. The way he treats the crews too in his films with gifts, like the crew on Speed it seems he gave them all a Harley? He gets take out for them and sits down with them. It is so refreshing to see a star of his stature acting like this and I now really like this guy. Never disliked him was just more disinterested. Seems a real good guy.
@@dhenderson1810 Yes he can be a little wooden. He has improved though compared to his early days.Still it is good to see nice guys not letting fame go to their heads and turning into arrogant you know whats :)
Now there's an Actor who I just couldn't watch in anything, it could be a record Oscar winning Film everything would be great except for Copperheads part, has he ever done anything that never involved being a Cop?
@@manzanito3243 I personally like the Alec Baldwin's in 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th. The ones in 1st and 4th are just ass holes. I met the Alec In 9th place. True story.
LOL I was kidding. I only met one actor and he was a dick so I called him Zultan. He was Zultan from Dude Where's My Car. No one knows his real name cause he sucks.
Bruce Willis! I performed with a band in Chicago opening for Bruce Willis, twice. Both groups went to Kingston mines afterwards to jam. I was so excited that I got to meet Bruce Willis there in Kingston mines. But when I try to say that I was a fan, Bruce Willis proceeded to call me homely. He said I was unattractive. I was stunned because I hadn't hit on the guy. I was just one of his biggest fans. One day, way before meeting him I had to have surgery on my foot, but I went to see one of his movies and I limped that day, all day. But the day that he called me homely and said I was unattractive, I was too stunned to be hurt. But years later I heard my pastor Bill Winston say... That the Lord will defend you even if you're not around. He showed me Bruce Willis. What I later discovered was that Bruce Willis's daughters all became what he called me... So hey Bruce, if somebody gets wind of this and tells you of this post, think back in time when you performed in Chicago with the band that opened for you. Remember what you said to a fan. Me. Your wife was pregnant at the time with rumor. I even went up to your former wife and introduced myself to her before the concert. So I may not be what you think of as attractive but I'm doing just fine. God save you. 😷😇✝️🕊️😇.
What kind of a nasty bastard would say such an unkind hurtful thing to a fan who is a stranger to them? Never could stand Bruce Willis and as far as that goes he never was anything to moon over!!!
I/we used to sell cable TV in the late 60's in Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Sherman Oaks, etc. The most wonderful people were: Debbie Reynolds, Jack Larson ("Jimmy Olson" on the old Superman series), Lorne Greene, Vincent Price, Ann Margaret, Cecil Kelloway, a couple of the Beach Boys, the President of United California Banks and many more very talented people who's names you wouldn't know. So hospitable, so kind. They didn't have to prove anything to anyone; they knew who they were and what they could do. Those were thee days.
Holy Moley, Vincent Price! "Do you ever rub your eyes and suddenly find you're awake and not asleep, as you'd grown to suspect you were?" - Vincent Price
Not quite a Hollywood star, but David Tennant is a well-known actor. I worked with him in a TV series early in his career (Casanova) and at the end of the day's filming, he would stand by the exit and thank the extras and crew as they went through. Class.
I've read a lot of articles over the years about bad behavior from actor's off set. All of the ones mentioned in this video were always mentioned in the articles except for Val Kilmer. It always befuddles me to hear about actors being this way. They are being paid to shoot a movie. Their boss is the Director of the film. Throwing hissy fits like spoiled rotten brats should be inexcusable. They're lucky that people still want to work with them.
They forgot to put Meg Ryan on the list. She's notorious for being an utter ball-breaking bitch - poor Dennis Quaid - and is vile to everyone on set. Shia LeBoeuf's one of those youngsters who didn't really have to work at his career, pay his dues etc. His meteoric rise in Hollywood blockbusters wasn't enough for him; he wanted to be taken seriously and recognised for the self-declared Renaissance man that he claims to be. So he wrote a screenplay and some other stuff, all of which he had stolen from other writers then took the credit for himself. Unfortunately for little Shit, oops, sorry, I mean little Shia, he soon discovered that he isn't the only person who can read. Matt Dillon's a really nice guy; quiet, humble, genuine. It's so disappointing when people such as the actors on this Looper list are lucky enough to be successful, wealthy and famous yet forget how privileged they are. It's also stupid: treat everyone well on the way up - you never know who you might need on the way down.
You don't hear anything from Ms. Ryan anymore. I guess between not being so cute anymore and being difficult, she found out the hard way that almost everyone in Hollyweird is extremely replaceable.
Douche-bags I've personally worked with over the years: • Mike Myers: He was nice to me, but crew members are strictly forbidden to shake his hand or even touch him. • William Shatner. Don't you dare suggest a line reading, he knows best and will tell you so in no uncertain terms. I witnessed him make a crew member cry. • Chevy Chase: The very definition of arrogant and angry. • Christopher Guest: Extremely smart, exceptionally funny, but off camera, one of the most humorless people you will ever meet. Three of the nicest actors I've had the privilege to work with... • Tom Hanks: Complete sweetheart to every member of the crew, even Production Assistants (goffers) • John Travolta: One of the nicest guys in the business. • Mila Jovovich: Sweet, tender, sensitive, and caring. She seemed more concerned how other people were doing. She spent at least a half hour with one of my female friends and colleague who was about to undergo a sex re-assignment surgery. My friend was teary-eyed after their conversation which ended in a long warm hug.
Paltrow is a classic example of "born on third base and thinks she hit a triple". Pretty enough, but that alone doesn't make you a star, not without Daddy and Mommy being somebodies.
Depends on the idol. I was fortunate to meet Henry Cavill at a recent comic convention and he was very kind and gracious. It goes without saying that the attitude you present also factors into it.
I met Ralph Macchio at a comic convention once and he was soooo sweet, even after sitting at a booth and taking pictures all day long! Also Mark Patton from NOES2 is a wonderful human being. Some of these ppl are not nice, but there are a few exceptions :)
I've heard the "never meet your idols" advice before too, and I definitely acknowledge its wisdom. I guess I've just been really lucky so far, all the celebrities I've met so far in my life I've never had one bad experience. In particular, I just can't squeal enough about the time I met John Rhys-Davies. What a genuine and searingly gracious man, I cannot say enough great things about him! This happened just a couple months ago, very recent too. In the midst of our conversation, I offhandedly mentioned that it is my dream in life to write books and be an author one day. His face then went pensive and he softly smiled at me. He then opened his hand as a gesture for me to take it. I did so, and he took my hand in both his own, and gently held it the whole time as he spoke to me for the next few minutes. He told me that actors and authors are very similar to eachother in that they work to please an audience, and for the next few minutes he offered me very sage, very practical writing advice. And it was actually really good writing advice! As he spoke, he talked to me the entire time as if there wasn't a long line of other people waiting behind me and that we were the only two there. I can't recall a single time where he looked away, he never broke eye-contact. I swear, you could listen to this man talk and tell stories for hours. My luck may run out one of these days and the bubble may burst, I'm actually expecting it, but so far I've been able to have spectacular experiences with the few celebs that I've met. So yeah, if anybody goes to any comic conventions and John Rhys-Davies is in attendance, GO! He is a treasure, not because he's an entertainer, but because he's a genuine human being.
That’s because he is, and this trash video took a shameful point in a wonderful man’s history, that he learned from, and makes it seem like his norm. Couldn’t be further from the truth.
I played two games of the iconic arcade game “Asteroids” with Patrick Dempsey in 1987 in Roanoke, Va. when he showed up to his premiere of “Can’t Buy Me Love” at the old Towers Mall theatre.(he was filming “In A Shallow Grave” nearby) Back then he was very cool. Didn’t know it was him when we payed the games, but after the movie he was recognized and deeply enjoyed the attention and was nice to everyone.
never knew why she ever married Ritchie he is a creep homophobic right-wing bighead who cannot make a decent film just look how he has brainwashed her son against her ,yes I am a big fan of hers
The Mandy Patinkin one is ridiculous. The man saves people’s lives in other countries. When he was younger he didn’t like being directed due to childhood trauma, even though a director of his explicitly stated that he was never mean to his co stars. He’s stated that he’s terribly ashamed of the behavior and grown as a person. As for the Criminal Minds thing, he left the show because the violence against women deeply upset him and he apologized to all his cast mates. Let’s not condemn people who make a massive difference in the world.
@Song Rainbows, didn't Patinkin ever notice what the scripts of _Criminal Minds_ were like? One read through of them should've shown him what they were like, enough for him to not want to be on it.
Neville6000 He was only given the script for the first episode as nothing else had been written yet and he said he foolishly thought there was no way they’d make the rest of the episodes that dark/violent
An old high school friend of mine used to work as a waitress in a Beverly Hills/Hollywood restaurant frequented by celebrities. I asked her who were the rudest and nicest celebrities that she met there. She said that Mandy Patinkin was without a doubt the rudest of them all and was very difficult to deal with. The nicest, she said, was Andre Agassi. Extremely friendly and a good tipper.
I used to see Agassi when he came to my town every year for our big tennis tournament. After his matches, he'd come to the local Applebee's (seriously!) with a few people, and the servers loved him. Gracious, funny, courteous, and a huge tipper. I spoke to him there once, and commented on how much he seemed to have changed from his "Image is everything" days, to which he responded, "Well, I had to get over being a big a**hole."
I'm surprised Russell Crowe, Charlie Sheen and Mel Gibson didn't make that list. As for who should make a good list, everyone I know who met Robin Williams loved him. He was the sweetest, warmest, funniest man.
He's become too complacent...he forgot that he was once a struggling actor that never took things for granted...if this keeps up, he'll be struggling again..
I've a brother that works in the Hollywood production business. He offers some insight of his dealings. Says the best actor and actress with cast, staff and crew has been John Travolta and Sally Fields. Said working with Shannon Dougherty was horrific.
I would be shocked if Sally were different to her film roles. She seems do originally kind and good that it cannot be hypocritical. But eg Shirley MacLaine tried desperately to be cute and light hearted and just seems fake. She must have been very bitchy till her oscar win which she dreamed of for decades and she deserved an oscar for her talent. This foes not equate with a good character.
And Shannon D. is SUCH a fine actress, too! Her acting ability runs the gamut from ‘A’ to small ‘a’! If I was being paid huge bux, I would be the most suckholiest, ass-kissingest, sycophant you ever saw. “More coffee, Mr. DeMille?” “Why yes, your limo DID run over my foot. My apologies!”
Actors learn what it's like to be in other people's shoes, which makes them on average tend to be more compassionate than most people, especially compared with business-owners, shareholders and rightwing politicians. So, for example, many of them spoke out against Bush's war on Iraq, and and some have spoken against Trump's incitement to violence, and his policies of human rights abuse.
Not true. Christian is fine to work with. He is uber-professional and sometimes he can be exact because of it. But i've known him to be very thoughtful and sometimes he loses himself in a character but once out of character Christian is back again and he's absolutely fine and respectful.
I think it was just that one time, on the set of Terminator Salvation. He's a meticulous craftsman, and sometimes that pressure can build up so much that you just snap. We never heard of him going bonkers on any other set, so I think it was a one-time deal.
I don't think it's fair to attack Patinkin for leaving a role (where he lived in a crime drama constantly opposite depraved characters) he felt was emotionally damaging. He stated this publicly and apologized for the impact it left on the cast. Film actors have the option to alternate roles from time to time, but it's harder on TV where the commitment can be all encompassing.
I was working at The Louisiana Purchase, a Cajun restaurant in Banner Elk, NC. The movie Winter People was being filmed and a few celebrities had dinner there. Lloyd Bridges, Kelly McGillis was there, very very nice folks. I got their autographs on menus. As I was going back to the kitchen, I met a guy walking toward me and I asked him, Didn't you play in a series called Chase ? He said Yes, about 100 years ago. Lol. He was Mitchell Ryan. He walked with me into the kitchen, talked with my boss and I, watched us work, signed a business card for me, you know, just a really nice guy. That was really cool. I've met Richard Petty a dozen times, when my wife Rebecca and I first married, Richard sent us a signed card congratulating us, when I had surgery for cancer Richard sent a signed get well card. What a classy guy. Doc Watson was another class act. Super human being. I called him a legend one day and he said, I'm no legend. I'm just a country boy that likes to pick the guitar. Then he added, Just like you. Got his autograph that day. Doc hardly ever signed anything. I feel really special because of people like these folks I've mentioned here. Thanks guys. Thank you. Mike Pardue
Patrick was not kicked out, he decided to leave so he could fix things with his ex-wife, indeed, they all wanted him to stay, including Shonda, but he said he should do it for his family.
What about Jerry Lewis? Everybody hated working with him. Even Jerry said he didn't know how Dean lasted 10 years with him. But it says something when your partner of a decade won't speak to you again.
They did bury the hatchet about 25 years later, and not in each other. When Dean's son died in an accident, Jerry was there for him, and Dean never forgot it. Jerry was an arse overall, though, including completely disinheriting his children from his first marriage.
You just have to look at one of the last interviews Jerry Lewis did before he died - he was an arrogant, nasty piece of work who gave the interviewer the hardest time for no good reason. Horrible man.
Chase had left SNL and trashed the cast and Murray was the new guy so he took it upon himself to stand up for everyone and called Chase a medium talent.
Seems like Mandy had his epiphany. If you read the entirety of the section they showed on screen, he was saying that he felt any direction from a director was simply criticism, and reacted as if it was criticism. To make it in showbiz, you do need an ego - the bigger the better to get ahead.
I though it was common knowledge about Bruce. He got too big for his boots back on Moonlighting. The Kevin Smith film was basically a contractual obligation, which is why he probably extra hard to work with.
Yeah, Mandy Patinkin has totally changed since those stories happened: he's apologized for it and is apparently really nice now....that was ten years ago that he stopped behaving like that, so we can cut him some slack..he's been really awesome and open about it in interviews, jut look up his Hollywood Reporter TV actors roundtable with Dennis Quaid, and he's really lovely and honest about how much he regrets that he treated people poorly when he was younger, and that he makes a big effort not to now.
Mandy Patinkin also almost went blind. That's the reason he left Chicago Hope. He could no longer read his scripts. He had a disorder called kerataconus which scares your cornea and destroys both your depth perception and proefferal vision. He had cornea transplants on both eyes. I have the problem in my right and have also had a cornea transplant.
In a poll of famous leading ladies including Barbara Stanwyck, Stella Stevens, Ann-Marget, Shelly Fabres, Nancy Sinatra, Barbara Eden, & a bunch of others, their favorite costar was a runaway win for one Elvis Presley. It wasn't even close. He was a perfect gentleman & demanded respect & behavior on set.
He had that reputation. I had a friend whose father was a songwriter. He worked with Elvis and said he was the most polite and likable kid he knew....he said Johnny Cash, though, was the breath of hell......
Rupert Everett gives some extremely telling anecdotes in his autobiography RED CARPETS AND OTHER BANANA SKINS. According to him, she lived in this oblivious bubble of celebrity so extreme that her feet barely touched the ground (literally -- she went from limo to set back to limo to private jet) and she had lost all concept of normal life or how regular people were treated.
For the opposite of this: Keanu Reeves, who habitually makes best friends with both his costars and tech people on his films. Total love.
Yah Keanu seems like a cool guy, doesn't take himself seriously
He seems like a great guy. Nice to everyone. Had a difficult life as well.
If I ever met him myself I would totally be too stunned to speak
Keanu reeves and Tom Hanks are both good people but Alec Baldwin who is loved by liberals for mocking trump is a jerk. Chevy chase a lovable Hollywood actor right ? No most of these guys are liberals and awful people. Hollywood are full of fake phony people
Who are stuck up and mean spirited
They make trump the bad guy but they themselves are terrible people
He is the only person who is a great at heart. We need more people like him in our world. People who understands.
“The United States has become a place where entertainers and professional athletes are mistaken for people of importance.” --Robert A. Heinlein
And some of those entertainers and athletes even believe it themselves.
Baldwin's ego is bigger than his
"Ass"
I've always said that Actors and athletes aren't people to listen to. They are nothing but entertainers and do nothing to further humanity. The people who really matter are those that help humanity reach a goal of longevity and prosperous means. Scientist, doctors, cops, firemen, any first responder, men and women in the military, these are the folks to idolize and listen to.
So very true .
@@coldconclusion1 Teachers - people in mental health professions - educated people who care about connecting to and engaging with others.
Rufo Rufo This is beautiful yet said. May your friend and Patrick rest in peace.
Only the good die young.

I want to hear your life story friend!
Bruce Willis has always been an arrogant prick , Irish Shakespearean actor Richard Harris said he was the most obnoxious man he ever worked with..
I find it hard to believe that Bruce Willis would willingly stand in a line for coffee.
Ahhh those poor celebrity's!!! gimme a break.
Lol
so why do women go for bad/jerky guys?
Steven Seagal's dad was your algebra teacher? UGH, indeed! My condolences.
Yeah of course you did and I was on the moon with Neil Armstrong
My mother was on Broadway with Mandy Patinkin and according to her he was nothing but a sweetheart to the entire cast and everybody there. In fact, it was her first Broadway show and he was one of the nicest and most welcoming ones there.
Perhaps what an earlier commenter said about him being heavily into method acting is why. Theatre is much more conducive to method than film is.
Or perhaps people are complex and have good and bad sides and don't behave in an exact, consistent manner at all times.
Skipper...
You know I think its like any human being. They have good days and bad days I'm sure and not everyone relates in the same way. Nice story about your mom's experience.
@@cockoffgewgle4993 so true! Before I read your post I just said the same thing myself!
Skipper That was then and this is now - he is a pile of doggy doo doo
What you say about Steven Seagal is not true... he is not an actor.
Is funny that they call acting what Steven Seagal does right?
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
Shots fired
Want even more evidence on how terrible Seagal is to work with? Ask the SNL cast when hosted the show for his first and only time.
The only thing that rolls with him is his rolls of fat
If an actor or actress is "impossible to work with", no problem! Don't hire him or her for future film roles. We don't need prima donnas making ridiculous salaries.
what if they're really great actors?
@@Jade-ig9lq There are lots of great actors. The problem is that in many cases, performers are hired for roles and entire projects specifically for them, and they know it.
Amen!
Your statement is generally true, but Val Kilmer's Jim Morrison and Doc Holiday were worth it.
That. Is. AWESOME!!
You met the king of cool 😍
Cameron Alexander I have heard that Reeves is a genuinely nice guy (on and off the set), and have never heard a single bad thing about Michael Caine.
I really like Guy Pearce, but every time I see him I can picture Count Mondego from The Count of Monte Cristo.
I met Reeves once and he was shy, friendly, quiet, and cheerful. I expected him to be more brooding or something.
Don't forget Anthony Hopkins. Very sweet and a gentleman.
Did he try to touch your wiener?
That wasn't candy...
He was on the show from 2005-2007 not 1994-2000??? where did you get your information from ? and the show is still in production today ?.
I just finished the episode where he leaves ;-; im sad
Chicago Hope is the show Mandy was talking about acting abominably on. That show ran from '94 to '00.
Yes! I understand Daffy Duck was very shy and retiring off camera. He collected stamps and loved to read biographies.
I met Eeyore once. Not at all the sad, self defeating mule. He actually loves to party and is a total social butterfly
@@cheftekard7165 He may have been force-fed anti-depressants. Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up offing himself.
I feel a bit sorry for Wile E Coyote.
His mood might be due to him losing all his money investing in "Acme" products, none of which worked.
Scott McMichael Nice story. Thanks for sharing.
Scott McMichael a terrible waste of talent gone to early nice story
I have always thought he had a great normal life as he could considering. I met him and his wife Lisa Niemi in junior high school with my little brother during a layover in an airport right before Ghost came out, they were so nice to us. We were trying to figure out if that was "Johnny" from Dirty Dancing .... his wife was like "that's the guy that you think he is. Want to get an autograph?" So nice.

Thank you for sharing that and yes i saw that in him as well just by observation god bless him
Steven Segal has always been a joke. I'm honestly not sure how anyone on this planet could take him seriously. Back then or now.
His first movie wasn't bad, but he's such a liar.
Are you so brave or just having a fever? Now he will look for you?
Putin likes him. Says enough...
@@scottlowell493 i loved him in the Orange cinema ad

Nobody made a top 10 with "the friendliest and easiest actors/directors". I think someone should make one. Don't the good guys deserve spotlight too?
Johnny Depp, Jack Black, Ernie Hudson, Emma Stone, Jessica Chastain, Bryce Dallas Howard, Robert Downey, Jr., Matt Smith, Emma Watson, Seth MacFarlane, Mark Hamill, Danny Trejo, Kristen Wiig, J.K Simmons, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pratt, Jeff Goldblum, Tom Hanks
That was Dwayne Johnson's wrestling name.
Keanu Reeves, most likely
Johnny Depp? LMAFAO! He belongs in THIS video, not a nice guys/girls actors vid!
The squeaky wheel will always get the most grease
It should also be noted that Chevy Chase and Steven Seagal were both banned from hosting SNL for their behavior.
WOW...
Joe Weatherford really? lol

Kim Basinger said that Alec Baldwin was such an abusive husband to her that she had panic attacks for years afterward. He literally gave his wife PTSD.
I knew something was up with that guy...
I can believe that and she is one of my favourite actresses ,married to that jerk what was she thinking

Mandy Patinkin was nothing but gracious to me as a young actor. He was friendly, kind and generous and I observed him treating all the other actors on set exactly the same. Regarding his bad behavior, I never saw it, but at least he admits it was unacceptable. I just don't want people to think he's not a nice guy.
well, that's good news then.
@@fun_ghoul what do you mean
Patinkin left Criminal Minds because he felt the show was too dark and was having a psychological toll on him. I kind of respect that. IIRC he spoke to the director who wouldn't obviously change the script, so he felt he had to walk.
I've worked background in Hollywood. Paltrow is widely known to be horrible to work with. She's insecure and domineering, especially about other women. She once had a background performer fired because - get this - the woman had hair similar to hers. Spoiled Hollywood princess x 1000. Terrible actress, too.

For a second reason too. He hates veterans.
What if a director makes a movie with all of them as the cast?
If you're in that movie too then you should be really, really scared because it means your career is dead.
FaCu aRroYo that movie will never come out in the original format because some of them will die and others will quit.
I would want someone to ask Alec Baldwin his name just so he could say, "fuck you! that's my name."
They could call it "The Assholes."
And if that movies boom at the box office. They should make a sequel and named it "The Assholes - Strikes Again". LOL
The less talent, the bigger the ego. REAL stars don't need to be arrogant or needy. Genuine stars are generous to everyone on and off set. Their talent speaks for them.
Exactly!!!
Val Kilmer’s not talented? Have you ever seen “Tombstone”?
Steven segal is ridiculous. He works as a real cop in Louisiana sometimes.. Does anyone else feel we should pray for Louisiana?
Whilst he is well known as a truly bad actor, most of the time in the fight scenes he doesn't bother acting at all and just smashes into the extras and stunt doubles full force. He is, to use a technical term, an utter cunt.
LMFAO!
Asking people to pray for places instead of actually doing something is exactly what Steven Seagal wants you to do.
@Lummux Sounds about white.
He should know all about domestic violence. Ask his ex Kelly Labrock, he's tough on women
Cool! I had dinner with the Pope, The Queen, and Jesus Christ once. They were all pretty nice.

broughtbackin Satan isn't as bad as they make him out to be either. Lol.
It's hard not to like "the Fonz".

Am I the only person that heard Shia got in a fight with Tom Hardy and thought to myself “and hardy promptly muscled the shit out of him!”?
Only in a fantasy realm could I see somebody turning down 3 million dollars for 4 days of work.

lmao I love him in The Sixth Sense but damn what a dumbass for turning down money
If you don't need the money you can afford to turn it down
when Egos fill a room it gets pretty crowded.
Directors loved having Jack Elam on a film because he made everyone else happy: funny guy too. I remember an interview with a chauffeur at Heathrow, he said David Niven made everyone feel like a king.
My father served with David Niven in the Army, really nice and polite guy he used to tell me.
I knew Jack, he was a great guy & nice to everyone. VERY funny too!
RIP Jack Elam.
My mother loved Jack Elam.

My point exactly, see my response to "that girl at the party".
Meh, they would find other, not so famous ways to make money by being assholes.
@@kayhubbard8974 If it wasn't for customers or whomever you serve, you wouldn't have any money either.
John Candy always insisted food be provided on the set of the movies he starred in, not for him, but for his co-workers.
It's kind of a tradition that actors buy some sort of food for the crew. All the good ones do. Latte trucks, Ice Cream, Tacos, Sushi, you name it!
Same with Elijah wood. Hes an awesome guy
He was my favorite comedian.. Comedies haven't been good to me since he passed.
What a gentleman
Kevin Hawley That is completely true. Had the chance to work with him back in 1991 and he was a total gentleman.

Shia Labeouf fighting Tom Hardy? LOL good luck with that
He should be glad he's still walking around.

Tara Anthony for shame not true is it ? 😎
However , he is damn good actor.
I like the fact that mandy patinkin actually admits to how much of a douche he was. Shows how he grew past it (hopefully).
I loved that LB Hofs!! So great!!
Amen.
It’s not uncommon for narcisssists to develop a huge following. Case in point - Trump
Damremont18 your stupid FYI
Honestly I hate when paparazzi stalk celebs to no end and surround them while they try to get to their cars. I have very little sympathy when they get their ass handed to them.
I agree with you. I can't stand what the paparazzi do to celebs in their privacy. It's stupid and rude.
Tregeta I
All y’all, get a clue! Hello?
Tregeta Agreed. I think if anyone had a camera shoved in their face and asked personal question in rapid fire succession would snap.
@Misteriosi81 pre Madonna? No. It's primadonna. It doesn't mean before Madonna.
I do like the two Andrew Davis movies though-Above the Law and Under Siege.
You don't have to boycott it, those are the worst movies no one should ever watch them
And you can never hear what he mutters! Sounds like he's on the verge of contracting laryngitis.
I can't think of one good Film he has done even worth talking about.
Oh yeaaaah Shannon. She was FUN!
Norton should actually produce and direct a movie, so we can see some of his ideas on screen.
I started to go into acting myself because I was in drama class in high school and loved it. But when I saw just how hard it was to be discovered and all the drugs involved I decided it just wasn't worth it. I chose the US Military instead and I don't regret it one bit.

Whatever. You can still love celebrities, you just have to choose the right ones.
@@troll9682 And how do you choose the right ones?
This shit needs to be taken seriously; it's not a game.
doglovr69.
I mean its a show called "criminal minds"...what did he think it was gonna be about ? flowers and rainbows? lmaooo
I can only comment on what I've seen personally, and this is what I've seen:
I've seen Val Kilmer punch his wife in the face outside of a restaurant in Santa Fe, New Mexico back in the early 1990's.
I used to be a fan of his because of Real Genius. I was devastated when I heard what he was like.
I have met Val Kilmer several times and he has always been kind, friendly and courteous to me and my wife. I know him to be generous tipper too. Not saying these people are wrong but just that there's a good side to him as well.
He's got the reputation of being an asshole and that seems an especially nasty encounter. Just glad we got to see a better side of him.
Val Kilmer's had throat cancer for 2 years. Poor guy sounds nothing like he used to. I wish him well.
Soling106 you're lying
Too bad he isn't a better actor, though.

Sharon you sound attractive enough to most people just from your kind words!

Samuel Lane I love Lorne Greene. I'm only in my 30s, but Bonanza is one of my favorite shows of all time. I'm glad to hear he was nice.

Not quite a Hollywood star, but David Tennant is a well-known actor. I worked with him in a TV series early in his career (Casanova) and at the end of the day's filming, he would stand by the exit and thank the extras and crew as they went through. Class.
MY FAVORITE DR. WHO🌹
I've read a lot of articles over the years about bad behavior from actor's off set.
Shia Laboofhead is the most annoying character on screen. E.g, the Indiana Jones movie.
Eden, excellent point!
You don't hear anything from Ms. Ryan anymore. I guess between not being so cute anymore and being difficult, she found out the hard way that almost everyone in Hollyweird is extremely replaceable.
I had a college roomie in Idaho that babysat for Bruce and Demi and said they were very kind, civil, and generous especially Bruce.
I had heard Shatner was an asshole for years.
None of these surprise me a few are notorious divas like Alec Baldwin and Gwenneth Paltrow
Alec Baldwin,Should Only be Around ppl like himself=/
Paltrow is a classic example of "born on third base and thinks she hit a triple". Pretty enough, but that alone doesn't make you a star, not without Daddy and Mommy being somebodies.
Never fry bacon in the nude ; never spit into the wind and never BUT NEVER meet your idols .
He is a treasure, not because he's an entertainer, but because he's a genuine human being.
j baumun or just don't have any. We're all human, maybe he's nice and was having a bad day, who knows!

Yuck. If you worked with her, my sympathies. You would need to scrub yourself like Meryl Streep in Silk.
just as long as she fucks me
never knew why she ever married Ritchie he is a creep homophobic right-wing bighead who cannot make a decent film just look how he has brainwashed her son against her ,yes I am a big fan of hers
@@brianmurray7407 You are seriously lost my friend...
Thank you!
Totally agree. Everyone has flaws, it's part of being human. I like Patinkin so I find it quite neat that we have the same birthday.
@Song Rainbows, didn't Patinkin ever notice what the scripts of _Criminal Minds_ were like? One read through of them should've shown him what they were like, enough for him to not want to be on it.
SongRainbows He is a sack of garbage and we all know it
Neville6000 He was only given the script for the first episode as nothing else had been written yet and he said he foolishly thought there was no way they’d make the rest of the episodes that dark/violent
@@WilfBond55 Always thought him and Brooke Shields were super odd together...
Worked with Sean Connery on a movie in Switzerland, he was a nice guy but some actors with small roles were stuck up and felt entitled.
Goldfinger? 😋
5 Days in May?
How about a list of the top 10 thousand celebrities who think they are celebrities but aren't.
lol,True,lot's of those today..just rich punk's,ugh
The Last Pilot hahaha
RUclipsrs come to mind
It would include all social media stars & all reality stars. And Paris Hilton.
I'm surprised Russell Crowe, Charlie Sheen and Mel Gibson didn't make that list. As for who should make a good list, everyone I know who met Robin Williams loved him. He was the sweetest, warmest, funniest man.
Except for the comedians who he would come and and watch and write their jokes down word for word before he got into acting.
One of the nicest, most gracious, men with a very sharp wit is Harrison Ford, and a great pilot as well.
i believe that people love chris pratt too he’s famous for being a really great guy
Mojodajojo13 He paid comics for those jokes
Christian bale too
Val Kilmer was the absolute the best Doc Holiday on Tombstone ever!

Yeah, sorry, no. Dennis Quaid did it better.
I'll take Victor Mature in "My Darling Clementine."
Julia Roberts? She was called "Tinker Hell" on the set of Hook....
That doesn't surprise me a bit.
Shoulda called her ‘catfish’. Last time I saw a mouth like hers, it had a hook in it.
Not entirely her fault. She was plucked from obscurity to become a "manufactured star," and naturally it went to her head.
Wasn’t she actually “tinker bell” on hook?
@@brianpayne4549 Yes, but she supposedly wasn't on the best of terms with the cast.
Steven Segal was also banned from SNL for being difficult to work with
Damn, Bruce Willis was disappointing...
same :(
He's become too complacent...he forgot that he was once a struggling actor that never took things for granted...if this keeps up, he'll be struggling again..
Oddly enough, it's almost impossible to find a comment from anybody that's ever worked with him that is positive.
jesse snover Since the 2000s, I've noticed Bruce Willis seems to not gave a fuck about what he's doing in films.
Isn't Bruce Willis the asshat that said movies cost so much because the crew gets paid too much? Meanwhile his day rate is what again???
Interesting that comedic actors are often rude, and villainous actors are often lovely.
Patinkin is such a great talent in film but especially theater. Some actors are so skilled you can separate the performance from the man.
Actors think they're everything. In truth, they ain't shit.
I
just overpaid court jesters really
MrOrthogonalization He's just getting better, John Wick is probably his best work acting wise and he is pretty dedicated to the action in it.
MrOrthogonalization He's also a very humble guy that's easy to work with
Actors learn what it's like to be in other people's shoes, which makes them on average tend to be more compassionate than most people, especially compared with business-owners, shareholders and rightwing politicians. So, for example, many of them spoke out against Bush's war on Iraq, and and some have spoken against Trump's incitement to violence, and his policies of human rights abuse.
Matthew Mcnoughay is a very nice guy too, he waved hi at me which i was so excited :D
I'm surprised Christian Bale isn't on this list. I've heard multiple times what a jerk he is when on the set.
I've heard bad things about him as well. I refuse to watch a movie if he's in it. Don't like his acting or his attitude.
Alex Balwin shouldn't be in public eye!
Thank you. Mike Pardue
To this day, “Winter People” is one of my favorite movies.
They're concentrating on the living anal cavities.
@@kelsogirl562 seen that interview he was a horrible person
David Crosby, too. Acknowledges now that he was a total asshole.

LOL I am really curious as to what Bill Murray did to piss Chevy Chase off. Guaranteed it was hilarious.
Chase had left SNL and trashed the cast and Murray was the new guy so he took it upon himself to stand up for everyone and called Chase a medium talent.
Thanks, I appreciate that bit of history. Murray is great.
Chevy Chase is an insecure twit, that's why he's such an asshole.
Anyone see that British pretend BBC interviewer shout to Chevy Chase "I remember when you was funny" ha ha Chevy kinda laughed!
Bill Murray comes to our city all the time and he is a sweetheart.
Sorry to see Mandy Patinkin on this list! I like his work. Also sad about Bruce Willis.
Eh, Mandy needs to direct some movies, or be a film professor or something. He needs to be the guy in charge...
Barbara Stanwyck had an excellent reputation.
I think you mean "commanded".
They forgot to add Julia Roberts to this list.
Oh yeah, she's a real Bitch!!

I agree with you just by observation her and i was right thank you for sharing
Same with Emma Roberts
