This is my natural and honest reaction and review to Baco Exu do Blues - Bluesman (Filme Official). I have never seen the video until now. I hope you enjoy the reaction. My thoughts and commentary are at the end of me watching the video.

Baco Exu do Blues was one of the most important appearances in Brazilian music for two reasons: Coming from the state of Bahia and using his voice to give voice to black communities. Unfortunately the end of slavery was not the end of the problems, blacks are the majority of the Brazilian population and also the largest concentration of blacks outside the African continent and racism is still real and palpable. Most of this productions it´s just for the many views and brazilian subscribes...they don´t talk about of the meaning of lyrics or anything else...there is no concern for the contento. We like a lot of these kind of videos and it´s a easy way to make money for someone. But your video is very good...thanks for it.

Baco is the roman god of wine and lust. Exu is a orisha, an entity of an african religion here in Brasil. that´s why he chose this name. Baco exu do blues.

as you noticed, he compares silver with us black people, but in portuguese the comparison is even more obvious when you realise that Prata (silver) and preto (black) sound very similar

Don't get me wrong, but why is Brazil considered Latin due to our Portuguese language and Canada is not considered Latin (even half Latin) due to its French roots? Aren't they both Latin languages (French and Portuguese)?
