      I have a 3/4 proportioner. Will this cause any major problems in restrictions since it’s not 1 inch? I would run everything the same as you minus the proportioner. Just bought the 3/4 so I would hate to get a 1 inch if it wasn’t too much of a difference.

    9 Gallons a minute @60 PSI, with a head lift of 95 ft and an intake lift of 26 ft at 0 flow you can leave any 12v or 24v SSW superpums behind, you wil have it avaliable as long as you have gas on the tank, it will not decrease.

    Love the video and idea, I was gonna try this with a roller pump and found out a guy had already done so. For bypass he used 20 ft of hose and ran it back into the line before the pump with high psi check valve after the proportioner to prevent back wash. But if it’s not heating up no worries.

    Tried this a few years ago.. it worked great for about 45 minutes then it literally ate a hole through the aluminum pump.. used a 70 psi pressure relief valve back to tank (we use a batch tank for anything SH).. Also had a new 2" Pacer chemical pump which we then tried (we used 2" pumps to spray asphalt sealer so we had a backup on the shelf) the Pacer worked amazing but had to be reduced and play with the return to tank valve to bypass properly..

    The only problem is when you let off the gun, it keeps trying to pump.
    If you had a way to bypass this, it would be great. I hooked up a 2-inch fire hose, too it and washed soap3d down a 7000 of house in 30 minutes.
    I had help with the hose.

    • @AdvancedSoftwashLLC
      @AdvancedSoftwashLLC  4 месяца назад +2

      Not sure what you mean it keeps trying to pump. The pump is a centrifugal pump, it doesn’t build up more pressure the longer you are off trigger. You can’t adjust the pressure of the pump. The only way to get less flow is restriction in your lines.

    • @AdvancedSoftwashLLC

      The pump is rated for pool water, as long as you flush the system you should be fine. I expect issues long term of course with corrosion but the pump is far outlasting its price to replace and the reliability of 12v systems
