The Royal Pavilion is a spectacular palace in the centre of Brighton with a colourful history and an interior that reveals more the harder you look. Built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George the Fourth, it mixes regency grandeur with Indian architecture and Chinese inspired design.
But have you ever wondered what's behind the scenes of the dazzling rooms and otherworldly interior? What stories do the large dome at the top of the palace, the secret underground tunnel or the rooms behind concealed doors hold?

Always interesting to see how a building is constructed, when and for whom. It's a shame that "Vicky" had it all stripped of furniture and décor when she decided she was not amused. Thanks to Nash we still get a royal privilege of viewing the beautiful dining room with the incredible chandeliers and the sumptuous chinoiserie throughout. Thank to all for the tour!
