Yes we need a good video in this dark ( and for some) lonely month. Thank you Adam, they sell heater tube pipe things that go from your car window to your car tent for heat and ac. Also whatch out for those wild beasts of the field, you know 😂

The roof tent looks great and so cosy with the liner inside. What a location to wake up-to in the morning. Good to see you and mini me having a great time out exploring the outdoors together. The outdoors is where its at enjoy the camp.

That is quite an improvement on the roof tent. When your straps freeze up you could hold a bottle of hot water against it to speed up the defrosting process. Great wee video and nice to see your son braving the cold weather with you. ATB.

That rood pod thing is very clever. I like how you can get a thermal inner for it. Takes it to a whole new level. Plenty of room for you and the youngster. I suppose now you know about the difficulty for undoing the straps in the freeze, you could find a way to insulate them against that.
Just come across your video. Love your down to earth commentary. It looked a tad cold and slippy. Your son was amazing, no whingeing. Wonderful memories to share in years to come.

That roof tent Adam with its insulation lining is cracking man. Looks really toasty and cosy. All the surroundings and views again pretty awesome everywhere you went also the wintery scenes was fabulous.
Watching from a warm living room is ok but for you to actually get out there for us to all watch is cool. Great meal you cooked also looked tasty.
Gonna have to watch it again shortly we loved it that much.

Rather impressed with the rooftop tent. There’s a couple of different brands in Oz. I liked the padded inner, would make a lot of difference in minus weather. The daughter is interested in having one. Good to see MiniMe coming along for the ride even if it was brass monkey weather 🩵🧶🇦🇺

Good video mate and nice to see you out with the youngster aswell. I'd be interested to know how you found it with the extra noise in the tent compared to the car and if you was a bit paranoid about people messing about with the tent during the night?
You ever heard of gloves! With glives your hamds stay warm and if you get a frozen strap you can take a glove off your warm hand and put the warm hand across the frozen strap and defrost it instantly. Less talking and more thinking.
You could make up a list next time, then you could tick the individual items on the list as you load them up. This is why us older generation are so much more switched on im afraid. 😂

Brrrrr! Just a thought Rr roof tents thinking about the physics. Never used one so only my thoughts not experience. Given air space between the car roof and the base of the tent there will be a flow of cold air under the tent all night. I would imagine this makes the tent floor very cold. Bit like when you drive over a bridge on a cold day and the road over the bridge often has a heavier frost than the road each side. Only a thought! Keep on keeping on! Ever over Cannock Chase way say hi. 👍

Defo stick to doing what you do best with the stealth car camps, it’s your thing, I don’t understand the whole stealth camping at a McDs, etc. Won’t get that same feeling waking up to people queueing to get their McDs, so much better with nature views that you get to 👌🏼
oh m8 the liner is amazing absolute gamechanger for the pod/roamer just make sure you set it up the day before, i found it takes a bit of time to get it right so you can shut the lid but once we found it warm enough but we were wearing layers appropriately but yeh if youve a power bank take a little heater even an hour to warm it up in there and it holds the heat ..... all well worth it with snowy view out the door in the morning, have a great trip buddy
@@wanderingwhere Unfortunately the roof-tent I have doesn’t close with my super thick insulation 🤦🏼♂️ Bit annoying but I’m used to it now. I have the one that opens up over the one side of my car, but loads of space.

yeh great spot took my dad wildcamping there in the summer, the heater not 100% sure just a generic 250watts heater from amazon about 20-30 quid

yeh i do a few bits like that now and again, did a pretty cool castle on my last scotland trip and some old army base on i think the trip before that, every now and again stumble across something decent 😀
Love it m8. I experienced similar temps a few days ago. Bloody freezing in the morning when I had to get up and out the sleeping bag. Iv been looking into them 12v electric blankets that just plug into the cigy lighter. Not sure if there any good or not.
i bought one last year but for some reason didnt use it

There .... ok its does an OK job of taking the freeze BUT they use Alot of electric 600 Watts I 3 hours this one
Try warming it up with a diesel heater.?
Adam the USB water issue is a bug with andriod, i had it many times, its when you use a cable that not an offical andriod cable. annoying as f kc
could be spot on sir was actually an usual cable i was using but its also looking like the charge port might on the way out on the phone

weve been having it for about 6 months and the veg lasts a good week, i guess its because its so fresh when it arrives, like i say its straight to you with only fresh in the middle 😀

I guess you could wrap a bike lock round the ladder and one of the roof bars for that? Then if they manage to cut the bike lock without you hearing it, then they probably deserve it haha.
