It definitely is a wonderful, calming and peaceful distraction rather than doing all of the household chores :)
Heres a good sweet potato recipe. Cook it and mash it up, add butter, salt and pepper, shredded cheese of your choice and then drizzle with horseradish sauce. Had it at a restaurant once and loved it and thats how i do it now always.

You remind me of my time living in Hampshire and doing some part time coppice work. I was briefly part of Hampshire and West Sussex Coppice Society. Great times, out in the woods chopping Hazel and Sweet Chestnut and doing some hedgelaying.
Another great video. 6:27 Looks like you need something to support the draw when its extended fully to take the weight.
The bunk and the slide out kitchen gallery both very practical! I really enjoyed this video..right before bed time. I camp in a 17 ft. trailer but did tent camping for years.
I watch you to wind down before bed before putting my sleep music on to sleep you are really relaxing

That’s some pretty wicked kit! I love the fold out kitchen and camp bed; pretty cool and well designed.
PS.. collect your drier lint, soak it in petroleum gel and put it in a plastic bag; it’s the best fire starter in any weather.

I love your videos!!! I’m from Canada and even though I’m in my late 40’s…. I still love to camp. Unfortunately I’m a single female and don’t have anyone to go with….kind of boring by yourself. I love to cook outdoors as well….keep up the great videos

Definitely true that there is a ‘subconscious feeling of security’ being up off the ground. Love camping, but not thrilled with critters crawling in😳

Very Nice! I really like the roofbunk. It looks quite comfy. Nice and roomy. It would be much better than a normal tent especially in rain. I also like the folding table. Very nice! And you're right, Its 9:00pm for me and I want waffles and bacon!

The leverage on that camp kitchen fully extended will weaken screws & joints. I would be inclined to install some extendable legs at the end to take the weight of the burner & a full pot of water.
You are so inspiring ! Even my cooking has been inspired with all your ideas.
Well that was a nice first run with that set up. the waffle maker brings back memories, we had a mountain pie maker like that and it was great all kind of things you could make with it. looking forward to the next one.

Really loved this camp! So calming and enjoyable. I also go to thrift stores to find old musical gems...Led Zeppelin can be difficult to find here as well. Love the Johnny Cash cds you found! You're right about the waffle & bacon brekkie...I wanted it as soon as I saw it.

When I was in the Navy just as Vietnam officially ended we went on a NATO tour.
When in port I was Shore security/Duty Driver for a Commodore. Of course being from the State's we drive in the opposite side of the road. Took a bit of doing to get use to it and watching you drive just now brought that memory back... Thank you...😉
