Hi, Amanda, I'd like to point out that you may want to use the word "lend" instead of "borrow" in your example. We usually borrow money "from" somebody but lend money "to" somebody. Hence, to "lend" will be more appropriate here. Thank you for your informative videos.
Thank you very much Sandy. I realized it and put a small remarks on the cover page. Thanks for watching! I made a separate video about that issue. 😊 ruclips.net/video/Y8X5X5vHtGg/видео.html
Hey Amanda, as always, love your videos very much. Just one teeny tiny mistake...the last set of pronouns are "possessive" not processive...just in case you didn't catch it. Keep up the good work! ;)
Thanks for the lesson 😊, there is actually a verb in English for “to give as a present” it’s “to gift”
😮 Thank you very much!

Hi Amanda! I have a question regarding possessive words. I’ve seen people use di 啲 too. When do you use 嘅 and when 啲?
啲is for plural or uncountable nouns.
the rest we better use it's specific quantifier. e.g. my bag(我個袋)
my eggs (我啲雞蛋)
Possessive*
Not processive, I was getting confused on what did that mean.
Loving this course!
yes, I put that on the cover but unable to correct it in the video. Sorry about that
Miss Amanda, 嘅 is not just only use for possessive. I mean like example "我愛我本紫色嘅書"(I love my purple book), am I right?
Right! But it's also because of Chinese grammar is different. In this case, you can keep the word 嘅 or simply skip it
@@5minutecantonese like omit the 嘅 for example 我愛我本紫色書(I love my purple book)?
Great video 😊
Thank you 😊
I would like to ask you how to say “I borrow 300 usd from John”.
Thank you very much. Your videos are very helpful❤
