    Great video!
    For me my goals this year is to go on a no-buy and use what’s in my stash (but only re-purchasing any faves), simplifying my routine and just using 1-2 products for styling.

      This is def achievable! Simple wash days are so peaceful and our hair will thank us for using less versus more!

    Love this video. ❤ I big chopped 2 years ago. I’m 2 years heat free and still learning how to care for my loose curly hair. I’ve simplified and wow, I love it. Once a week, I shampoo, condition, then twist my hair up with a twisting glaze, then wear my 2 pigtails. It’s super cute and easy. The simple, minimalist life with my fine, medium to low density hair makes me feel like a million bucks! Thank you for sharing your changes. This is important content for us naturals. We be doing too much! 😊

      It is an ongoing process for sure! Natural hair can and is simple once you find what works for your and your hair! And you're so right, naturals do tooooo much!

    Beautiful results! I will pick-up the leave-in. I have the gel; do you have any tips on how to use “I create hold”?

    • @SHESOMAJOR
      @SHESOMAJOR  9 месяцев назад +2

      The gel is a tricky one! It is a bit of a learning curve for sure. I have found that less is more. I also use a lot of water. I've been meaning to do a video on that! I will put something together because a lot of people ask about that.

    Loved all of this! And yes i think since your hair has grown i like the middle part on you it suites your face well! So how do you like the olaplex shampoo/conditioner? Is it not drying?

    • @SHESOMAJOR
      @SHESOMAJOR  9 месяцев назад +2

      It is growing so fast! Honestly, I don’t find it drying at all, the opposite to be honest. For some reason that conditioner is super moisturizing, I find myself skipping deep conditioners because of that.

      @@SHESOMAJOR wow that’s great to know! Esp about the not needing to deep cond. yes your hair looks super hydrated and strong those are my 2 hair goals!
      Do you also feel like since you’re now using olaplex you’re not needing to do protein treatments?

    Your hair looks amazing. What made your curls looser from previous videos?

    • @SHESOMAJOR
      @SHESOMAJOR  8 месяцев назад

      Thank you. My curls look more elongated based on products. If I use certain gels it looks diff, if I use creams it is a drastic difference. Also, as I age I do think my pattern is changing up.

    Also i love i create hold gel its the truth! But i usually just put on my ends or edges I’ve never put on my strands..does it not make your hair stiff? I couldn’t tell how much you were putting but now im curious. And yes i love a leave in and gel too esp during winter time. For the summer i feel like i prob add a styler too.

    • @SHESOMAJOR
      @SHESOMAJOR  9 месяцев назад +2

      So, listen that gel is strong!!!! lol! I put one pump per section and spray water to emulsify it, you really don’t need much. It does make my hair stiff and I love they because of the humidity in The Bahamas. I get more days because of the firmess, However, I can make that firmness disappear immediately but scrunching it out with serum but then I would get a ton of volume and volume makes me heated 😂😂 so I let it naturally soften and get bigger as the week goes on.

    • @Helen-jy6br
      @Helen-jy6br 9 месяцев назад

      @@SHESOMAJOR 🤣girl i forgot you live in the Bahamas! That makes sense! Too much volume makes me heated too lol but i like the gel idea bc i find i put my hands in my hair too much and do too much manipulation..refresh, adding water etc i need to learn to style my hair and just be done in 2024 lol

    You tube hair stylists/hair knowledgers….
    😂 thats what most of us are. And honestly some of us have experienced more learned first hand opposed to txt book theory. 😂

      I agree! Sometimes we also learn more about our hair than others! But I do think there are high level things we should go to stylists for like cuts!
