I didn’t know much about Erin before the Las Vegas shooting. In the aftermath of that shooting, I found myself gravitating toward watching her coverage because you could feel the empathy and compassion she had for the victims, their families and the heroes of that night. I have come to see her as a no nonsense journalist/ media personality who tells it straight from the heart and who is incredibly intelligent and a delight to watch her show. This vlog was very interesting as to how she followed her roots back to the “old country”. Very well done.
As a Scot, and having endured Trump bragging about his family connections to our country, it’s lovely to see that some fine people are descended from the Islands of Scotland. That was a lovely piece Erin I hope that it has given you and your family some lovely memories to treasure and to share.

Nice connection... I live in Plockton, which is just about six miles from the Skye bridge. There’s something really edifying about people coming back to Scotland from where their folk left generations ago and feeling that connection to the people who came before them and just as importantly, to the place itself.
