The "Clicking" is actually the bass player! ;)
Waiting patiently for 'that' part
Bro, no matter how many times i listen to this song, when he says "GO" I instantly become ready for war lol
This lady is super cute
My husband said, "Jonathan Davis is like if you took bagpipes and made them into a person."
Jonathan's voice. Everyone - "I can't describe it"
'beatbox meets Gremlins' what a fantastic description. LONG time Korn fan, I can say with confidence that quote deserves honors.
The drop still gives me chills...
the clicking you are hearing as drums is actually the bass! Fieldy sets his tone up to max out the treble and the bass but scoops out the mids, so the clicks from his slapping technique really stound out and the deep tones are REALLY deep. He is often times called a drummer on bass. A lot of bass players mimic the guitars, Fieldy does that with the drums instead.
The drum sound you hear is actually the bass player. He has one of the most unique sounds ever.
OMG your face from
Korn are one of the most unique, original and great bands of all time. Fantastic video. Please to do more Korn
Got the Life, Falling away from me, Make me bad, Blind ---these are all good tunes.
A little known fact is Jonathan Davis wrote, sang, and composed most of the music from the vampire book movie adaptation of Queen of the Damned. He hired over 90s artist to sing those same song for the soundtrack. It's almost as if you need to enjoy both the move and soundtrack to enjoy the experience as a whole.
Saw them back in the day when this album came out. Was on the floor close to the stage. When Johnathan finished the scat part and screamed GO! The entire floor erupted into the largest pit I've ever seen. You had no choice. You were in it. It was incredible 🤘
You asked if this song represented KoRn.
They did indeed , at the 42nd Grammy Awards for best short form video.
David always said he gave Korn a funk sound. That's what she noticed.... they are incredible live!
I love these videos of vocalists reacting to everything I’ve listened to since I was a kid. I literally tear up because they really hone in on every little detail that made this music so special to me. It’s so cool to watch people who have never heard any of it to experience it for the first time and really respect the art and the artists, it really just brings me so much joy. It’s almost like I’m experiencing it again for the first time through the person reacting.
Nothing sound like this band. They are incredible.
