I am from Sweden, and I actually live in the county Dalarna, which is where those horse figures originally come from. My home village is a lot like a slightly smaller version of Kingsburg, and I definitely like how people feel safe with each other here - some people who have been out partying even ask for a ride home from people who they don't actually know, because they will usually have some common friend or something, and there are almost never any problems here at all, so that unique level of trust is very pleasant.
This was so much fun to watch. I am very proud to have so much of my own video footage used in this! Even my wife and kids are in the shots from the Swedish Festival, and I can see my house in my drone footage! Thanks for doing this, and thank you for letting me contribute.
Thank you for helping us Ben we only got to spend just over a day in town and it wasn't nearly enough time (or the right time of year) to get all for the story we wanted to tell so we're very happy you wanted to work with us to make this complete.
"If you've never bitten into a peach or nectarine growing around Kingsburg, you are absolutely missing out." I agree! Never had better fruit than off the tree in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard in Kingsburg. 🍑🧡
We first tried them almost a decade ago passing through on the way up to Bass Lake, same time we discovered Bravo Farms. Was just a farmer selling them at a little place off the highway. Never had better nectarines since!
Yep! I grew up near, nearer to Traver, Kingsburg and graduated from the High school class 1964! Go Vikings! Such fond memories and wonderful people and friends!😁
Great video! The interview over my drone footage was a great touch! My best friend and his family lives in Kingsburg, I'll share it with them so they can share with their neighbors.
Thank you we're glad you enjoyed it and were very happy you wanted to be a part of it, so much better to use that shot then some random driving ones we had in stock.
Kingsburg is a hidden jewel lived here grew up here pretty much all my life. Its clean and safe great small town to raise a family, but have notice its growing in the last 3 or so years population in 2022 its about over 12,000 climbing to 13,000 Let's hope it always stays that way .. A touch of Sweden and town that seems like its from the Midwest or the South.

The history of Reedley, CA started with a civil war hero Thomas Law Reed. Hope to see historic video of Reedley.

I think it’s charming that there’s still a Swedish festival! What are the happenings at the festival other than a market and a parade?
I really enjoyed this video! I love how you capture the location perfectly - almost like I was there! 👍 ❤️😀❤️
Thank you very much! It really is a cool place that's unlike any other.
