I have lower back problems. I started doing these with no kettlebell, then progressed to light weight. It has helped. Thank you.

What muscles should you be engaging to drive up? The bent leg, straight leg, glutes, low back?

Pulled something in my lower back a few days ago. Felt like it was going from the bottom of my ribcage to the top back part of my pelvis on the left side. While doing cable row with a lean forward. Could this help me recover and prevent injuries in the future?

Strengthening your core could always help prevent injuries. But don't start doing KB windmills before you're actually pain free (or at least do the motion without weight).

@@MrDaros89 deadbugs, bird dogs, plank, v sit hold, russian twists, supermans - I like to add a small weight plate to hand over from one hand to the other while rotating the arms, trx is an amazing tool for core strength exercises ☺️

You get more range of motion if you do not.

Why is this called a windmill? It's more like pumpjacks, or a piston. LOL 😂! I am going to try this though. I am looking for more ways to work different and more muscles in moves other than those I traditionally know. Great illustration~
