God bless those who have the brains to record and collect bluegrass and acoustic music - and God bless those who share it here with the world!! Thank You!
One week after our hero Tony Rice passed away - I am still playing and replaying his legacy. Thanks for posting this gem bluegrassboy. By the way - Josh Williams did a show here several years ago at our Tottenham , Ontario Festival. As an understatement " he's a pretty good guitar picker too".
I spent about 8 hours with Tony and some high powered liquids late afternoon and into the night last night ,kind of a personal dedication and I thank god I didn't even touch the surface of his extensive catalog because here I am again listening to my all time favorite acoustic guitar player ever and I don't say that lightly because I am a collector and player and my collection has everything to do with guitar players ,like picking your favorite son or daughter, sad he left us but he left us a lot music and sorry if I went on ,have a great 2021
@@frankd.506 What you describe Frank has been my life since day after Christmas. Matter of fact as I read yours I have poured one and getting back to playing his stuff. I dusted off "Cold On The Shoulder " which I bought decades ago. Fare Thee Well skips and skips because in those days that is how you got the lyrics to songs. Listen to a line - write it down - drop the needle - start all over again. My wife this morning told me I have to leave it alone for a couple of days because I am getting too depressed. Thanks for your message. Keep well. Mike
@@bluegrasscannuk Tony would not have wanted you unhappy but to celebrate his life with an enormous catalog of music and I would replay albums for the guitar parts too lol ,I have an old Akai turn table attached to an old Marantz the best way to go but there's so much on RUclips, A great 2021 to you and yours. Remember celebrate his life.
@@frankd.506 I very much appreciate your comment Frank. You and I and so many others using his repertoire to advance our own skills. Sometimes successfully - sometimes not so successfully. The fun was in attempting to emulate Tony and at the same time celebrate him. Happy new year to you and yours Frank.

No, that's not Hunter.
