Thank You for this. Found out about Tony a few months before he passed. Have been binging on Tony for over a year, He IS the Greatest I've ever seen\heard play. RIP Tony
Thank you so much for posting this treasure, I can never get enough of this band and their music. I too still remember their first album and the electrifying experience we all had with having these old familiar tunes brought to a new life.
If youre stuck on a desert island and someone had only one show/performance of bluegrass music to introduce or epitomize what the music is all about.... I cant think of a better example Dynamics,Tuning,Timing,Vocals, Backup, Absolutely sick!! Amazing Performance and personnel! The Best my ears have graced! Thanks so much for sharing Jan!!❤️
I was at this show, was life changing experience was around the same time period Emory Lester took me to see the Duo (Mike Marshall and Darol Anger) at the Birchmere as well
@@thomaswebster9593 @Thomas Webster I'm not sure of name of the venue. They did an autograph signing session in the lobby that day. Was some big windows behind them when I met them and got autographs. Maybe @Jan Johansson knows the venue name?
Thank you Jan! Very appreciative!!
You are so welcome!
Everyone sounds amazing here but Crowe and Tony in particular are so in sync with each other. Incredible.

What venue? I’m guessing either the Mill
Mountain theater or Jefferson Center.

@@JanJohanssonmusic Yes, I know Mike well, he's a perfectionist. He use to play banjo and we played some together, but I think he gave it up.
@@mandograssable good for him I know folks who have been trying to give that up for years
Jan, why no mention of Flux in that wonderful introduction? It's the six piece band here that makes this so exceptional. Thanks for this!
Yippee 👌
