@@glynrh8892 Just before the course transitions from the twisty mountainside into some valleys, make a left and intentionally go off-course and up a small hill. There's an item box on the top of that hill that always gives mushrooms or stars They even kept this for MarioKart 7 apparently XD

oh ma, thanks for this huge nostalgia bomb, i havent played in so long i forgot like all the tracks except those which got remade, and i forgot how much i loved them. one of my best memories is when me and my friends finally managed to get a complete Lan-room of 8 players and we all picked yoshi. also cloud garden was my arch nemesis on both ds and super circuit
also was it ds where i think luigi circuit that was a figure 8 but the middle part was merged? ds really doesnt get enough appreciation imo, so many unique and cool tracks
Haha why didn't you demonstrate the husky rail ride supreme? :P that was the sarcastic name for it... there was a trend of people naming strats and scs after themselves with extreme words lol, so Pulsar jokingly gave it that name. I just called it the rail sc iirc. Great RR coverage and great list! I'm good with no Waluigi Pinball on here. I think my top 10 would be the same tracks except I'd replace Donut Plains with Frappe Snowland. And reorder it with RR #1 :]

haha fair enough, it's insanely hard. I almost got the RR flap WR with a 3DS lol with the SCs you showed off, but mkdasher beat me to it by 1 day. Yeah, I loved that hill shortcut, plus the loose track for blue shell dodging.
I have many memories of mkds with friends, but my favorite thing was when I got the game on an r4 cartridge. It had a 300cc mode and it allowed some crazy things.

God this have a beautiful, line not even lying if I could pick a Mario kart game to live in, it’s be this one. Idk there’s just something about it, the simple detailing and the colors, plus the rainbow boosts were such a good idea and I’m mad they haven’t been used in recent games.
I was debating Daisy Crusier VS Mushroom Bridge. The reason i picked Mushroom Bridge was because it was the course me and mates did most of our drinking challenges on, back when we where like 18-19 years old. the rules. one player races to the top of one of the arches and its their job to stay there and defend their postion. for every minute that the person manages to stay on top the other races must drink. if the player falls of the bridge, they must take a drink or shot. the one who stayed up there the longest after about 10 minutes was declared the winner.
oh my god, I havent seen the original title screen in YEARS. I unlocked every character, and got the second title screen a few years after I got the game, so I have been really used to the second one, and seeing the first title screen slapped me in the face with nostalgia. I'm so glad I still kept my card from when I was younger, as this really is an amazing game, that doesn't seem to be as popular as it used to be, which really is a shame :(

Definitely one of the most underrated Mario Kart games imo. I love how if you have enough skill you can take shortcuts shroomless, which I think should be like that in every Mario Kart game. I also like how light weights are top-tier, mainly because I've always just preferred how light-weights control. Plus it also has Dry Bones which makes it an instant 10/10. The only things I don't really care about, are the lack of a blue mini-turbo, and the item stat.
