Just thinking how all of these WRs have always been technically possible since the game’s release baffles me. Imagine being a kid in 08, checking the global rankings just to see the phantom on rainbow road or the zip zip on gba shy guy beach decimating the top 10 time trials.
The funniest part is when Troy says he would never try to do that ridiculously difficult maneuver on Grumble Volcano, because one time he did try to beat the world record's first lap by using the modded feather item and gave up after hours of failed attempts. A really subtle and passive agressive callback to the suffering he had put himself through.

In fact, every single WGM glitch WR has been with Funky Kong aside from one Daisy Mach Bike and MrBean's WRs. And MrBean only used Luigi because it was his favourite character.

Because the 3/3 is insanely hard to pull off. Only 5 players have ever done a 2/3. Owen Smith is currently grinding for 3/3 and has hundreds of hours in the category already, so we meet see one soon?
Troy. Do you think it is possible to use clipping off the front of an outside drifting bike to make some pole clips easier. It does get a weird angle though I have only been able to get it on Parkway
i get the all glitched but how does the game count the laps? by being out of bounds? to me it just looks like they jump out the map turn around in circles, then there automatically on lap 2? i dont ger the science behind this
There are checkpoints and key checkpoints to track where you are at. If you can get to the last key checkpoint, without triggering the first minor checkpoint it thinks you are at the end of the track. Hope this helps
So might be a silly question but why is Rainbow Road only 2 for 3 for the cut? Is it like impossible for 3 for 3 or is it simply too risky getting that far with 2?
Flame runner is more versatile and balanced in strengths but the spear is much faster and has worse turning. Depending on the track, you might need speed more than turning.
@TWD98 makes sense. After in the Video you also said that some of these Tricks take hours to do, so now I get why they would Not risk it if they can Beat the WR with 2 Tricks only. Thank you❤️

@@Prypak when you do the wallclip at the start, the game thinks your still on the finish line and therefore loads the last KCP, meaning you can do whatever you want to get to the last KCP besides crossing into KCP1
You call it broken. I call it fun. Mario Kart became famous based on crap like this. I miss it in Mario Kart 8. Not that 8 isn't a great game. It might just be the best designed Mario Kart ever made. But still. What happened to silly stupid fun? I mean, that's literally what Mario Kart was doing by introducing items.
this reminds me of words that a lot of people I know state this is either a kid that plays to much or someone who as to much time on their hands. makes me never want to play the game every again or not even buy it since its so broken. why cant people just play the game instead of acting like a game tester trying to break it. broken games are only fun if people follow a morel code and understand not everyone has all that time to play the game religiously. Mario kart Wii is on my do not buy list. I don't bother with broken games due to they are not fun.

Phantom is used on rr ultra because it gets the clip about 10x easier. Every outside drift bike can do the cart shortcut
