There's no actual problem with an age gap relationship. Psychology understands that people initially view these relationships as being 'exploitive', because they falsely associate an unhealthy power dynamic conditioned by money, sex, or lifestyle. So they end up stereotyping the couple. Because of this initial wrong view, people can't imagine that this kind of relationship is based on shared values, beliefs, and interests. Bascially people are just confused and think that they're not.

Im embarrassed to admit that the age gap relationships I’ve witnessed, the old man is creepy and perverted. They constantly want their ego fed. They’d take any young body they find sexy. And the young girls that will deal with a man like that do it for money and gifts.
Larry is confident in his skin, he doesn’t have an ego to feed. He respects Mindys mind, body, and soul. He doesn’t treat her like a child or as though he’s above her. They have mature, adult conversations where they speak to each other as equals. Literally everything about their relationship is the opposite of the stigma that age gap relationships have, especially with an older man and young woman. They’re singlehandedly breaking the stigma and giving other age gap couples the confidence to embrace their love regardless of any judgement.
I know this comment is a lot. It’s just so refreshing to have my mind cleansed from the image of creeps with beautiful, usually broken girls hanging a dollar over her head to have his way with her, and turn her into his accessory.
Exactly, sometimes you don’t get to decide who you fall for. Larry seems like he genuinely loves her and they have spoke about how they met, which was coincidental. I think the creepy old guys usually prey on younger women, and that is all they go for. So I completely agree with you.
My parents are 15 years apart!! My mom had me at 40 so my dad was 55 when he became a dad (I’m currently 15). And all I can say is that older dads are THE BEST! I know you guys are going through your IUI journey right now, and I’m so incredibly excited to see y’all become parents. You mentioned in this video that it’s “now or never” for Larry when it comes to having another child. I hope that Larry isn’t afraid of aging while raising this kid. My dad being an older dad was truly the best thing ever. I never ever wished that my dad was young like all my friends dads, in fact it never once crossed my mind. My dad unfortunately passed away in November of 2019 after a battle with cancer, and he would have just turned 71❤️ Although I only had 14 years with him and my time with him was cut short, he has shown me enough love to last me the rest of my life. Larry, I promise you that age is just a number ESPECIALLY when you’re a parent. OLDER DADS ROCK!! Best of luck to you both as you prepare for this baby :)

Please remember that you can adopt, there are so many children out there that need a home. A child does not need to be a biological child to be able to love them as if they were your own. That love can grow to be so great and deep for that child just like you fall in love with someone.

Mousy Leigh not sure where you’re getting your info but children/teens in foster care, that are able to be adopted don’t have an age limit! This is a huge misconception for some reason! There are so many teens waiting for forever families that are adoptable! First hand experience speaking here ☺️
They might just want their own biological children. A child to raise of their blood. They may be thinking about adoption if their pregnancy issue doesn’t work out
I think much of society tells us that age gap relationships are not good, but the reality is a nice gap is age is a very healthy functional thing in a relationship.

Edit- I just want to say to anyone thinking about replying to this with something disgusting and false like some already have, I own a company (on my own), I’m financially comfortable (on my own) and I fell in love with my husband when he was working an average job and I was working an average job. Our daughter was fully planned after a year of being married, and we subsequently lost our 2nd child (who was also very much planned) during pregnancy complications a few months ago. Nothing about our relationship has been fake nor forced nor for anything other than love.
To anyone thinking age gaps are wrong, if you met the love of your life, your dream person, but they were younger/older than you, would you say no to forever with them? I wish you both a great 2024 💛 and a lot of joy and love! 💛 I hope you dont mind sharing with me - how to go about if your older bf's (he is 19, almost 20 y older than me, so same as you and your boyfriend ) friends do not really accept and include you? I mean, they are civil to me, but not more than that and dont rly want to befriend me genuinely, just for the sake of my bf do they act civil (that's really the most accurate word ) -hi, how are you, bye! I would love to become part of their group/friendship, but it is not happening, somehow it doesn't click and it has caused a lot of heart ache on my side. They all are in their mid/ late 40ies and early 50ies. So I get it - they are not used to having much younger friends. For me the gap has never been a problem, coz all my life I have always dealt better with older people, better connection overall and I am used to having older friends. But they seem to be very off put by something, I am guessing it is the age gap -both mine and my bf's and age gap between me and them. I gather they do not want to accept me coz of that and also coz i come from another country and i do not yet speak the local language altho you can not be fluent and still show positive curiosity and want to get to know your good friend's partner. right? I have had the weirdest cutest Google translator conversations with people and it results in lot of fun in the process and really communicating despite that! Like it should be more about connecting not about dismissing someone based on the language! (recently I found out that many of them are very good at English but they been avoiding to use it with me and refused to talk, so we could not have convos when at party/hangout. And my bf has known it all along that they are capable of English convos and he has said nothing! They rly like my bf and so I am puzzled, why their immediate reaction is like it is..Bwsed on what? My bf doesn't seem to care, not also concerned about why such distant attitudes from them. He is well accepted and that is enough for him. If they came to know me and see that I'm, let's say, bad for my bf, then that would be legit, but they have not tried to get to know who am I, they literally don't know me and about me, except whatever scarps my bf has shared with them!! ! So ...what is going on...He seems uninterested so I let it go but it bothers me deeply. They just act excluding in various ways and because they sweet talk him (especially one of his besties) it escapes his notice..can you pls give me some advise? it has been hurtful, friends means very much to him, since his parents are dead for years..i dont mind his friends at all, just sad because he puts them first and somehow is not even troubled that this is the dynamic between us and that they act like that..it would bother the hell out of me.. in lip service they talk friendly about (!) me, but in deed and when my bf is not around - they dont wanna talk to me. i dont want to make things worse than they are. it has been this way ever since i first met them. My dad and I spent a lot of time together. I am single and my mother passed when he was 63. People always assumed we were a couple so I had the opposite. He got to where he would quickly say I was his daughter. 😂 as soon as that was said I could see the relief on people’s faces.

The only reason why I would have any reservations about this large of an age gap is how it would affect my life as the younger partner in the future.... he will obviously be showing signs of aging way earlier than her & I would be scared I would be raising children alone for a good part of my life.
He might be mentally young which is great! But unfortunately our bodies catch up with us no matter what
I agree, the issues come later and she is so young, he seems like a wonderful person but again, issues come later and she may feel she missed out on a lot later in life.
