Bassinet tilts unevenly when baby is placed in it no matter how baby is situated. This caused 6 week old baby to semi roll up againts side of bassinet. otherwise babies head is always sloping down.
I didn’t have that problem, but the additional mattress was a no for me
We recently bought halo bassinet nautical and tansy panda bassinet sheets from Amazon. Happy from both products. Halo bassinet is little heavy and hard to move but so comfortable and extra features. Tansy panda bassinet sheets are organic cotton, very soft, and afforable.

The pillow in the bassinet is a huge SIDS/suffocation risk.

I am glad her baby was fine. But a lot of other babies are NOT. It doesn't matter if you're right beside her...you're sleeping... you can't watch her 24/7. Do not do this!
Why would it be dangerous? Shouldn’t it be safe if it’s stuck to the wall and not moving?

I live in Mexico, I will go ahead and purchase this bassinet. There is a webpage where they sell some used ones and omg they are all half price with just little months of use. I’m only 11 weeks but hey, everything is going amazing 😍
Obviously I will wash and desinfect everything but it is in perfect conditions.

A safer alternative to the open space or the dock a tot is the new born mesh pad insert for the Halo!!

A lot of people complained that this bassinet tilts to one side tho. Is this true? Did u experience this??
I saw that complaint...mine doesn't. I think you do have to make sure it's snapped into the base properly. Also probably a good idea not to store random heavy things in the bassinet when not using it for baby. 🤷 I just got it so will see how it goes.

It’s advertised as a co sleeper. Why wouldn’t this be okay ?

@@trenicejohnson15 because your baby can suffocate. Not sure about the advertising but if you search safe sleep it is not recommended. Dock a tot and snuggle me are advertised as loungers. Baby us not supposed to sleep in them. Supervised or not.

I have exactly the same problem. I really like this bassinet but the number of people that report this problem is alarming.
@@LauraSanchezLazo so it’s been some time since my comment and I did purchase the baseline halo. I actually like it a lot. It doesn’t tilt. I put the doc a tot in it and its perfect. I love the swivel and convenience of this bassinet 👌🏼

Hi. Thank you for this video. I’ve researched this product and have a few more questions. Does the vibration happen on the sides or the bottom of the bassinet? And where did you find the cheaper Dockatot?

The vibration is nothing fancy as it just makes the battery pack compartment thing vibrate, however my baby still seemed to like it and so we used it A LOT, enough to have to change the batteries very often 🤪

I love this video!! Is this particular bassinet a little more on the heavy side? I’m comparing it to the halo glide bassinet to see which one is best for me.
Tiffany K it’s very steardy but yes on the heavy side. The base is SUPER have so it always made me feel secure that it wasn’t going anywhere!

That padded sided mattress isn’t safe for sleep. It would only be safe for awake time with baby.

This honestly upset me so much to watch. NEVER let your baby sleep in a lounger!!
They are not sleep safe for a reason. I am glad your baby was okay... and so many other are okay...but so many babies suffocate.
I get that you are right there while she's sleeping... but you're not. You're also sleeping, you cannot watch her 24/7. I know you don't want anyone to come for you. But you should have atleast had a disclaimer as to why this isn't safe. Not just that halo doesn't like people doing it. By sharing this as "okay to do" you may convince another momma it's safe, and it could have a bad ending.
The companies advise not doing it because babies die.
Anyway for anyone reading this, please do not use a lounger for sleep. It's not recommended because babies can.. have.. and will continue to suffocate. It's not worth it. Use the products as directed. Be responsible.

Girl shut up. She did say do what’s best for you and your baby. And also it was found out the babies die from Sid’s because they’re missing a certain hormone that signals the brain to breath. Leave her alone if you’re not comfortable with your baby sleeping in a pillow then don’t do it and keep your negative comments to yourself.
