I managed to perfectly align the wood to re-burn over it (a miracle). This was because QR codes require a high contrast, and my first burn didn't produce a reliable enough QR code (because I set the laser too weak). With the laser set to more power, it leaves more smoke marks, which can just be sanded off. Or with an air assist attachment, it doesn't leave those smoke marks. Look out for another laser cut tech build coming soon!
