Carl, then sound of those 80’s riffs you pull off for us constantly, is amazing. Dude, you are a true gentlemen and you make the Covid lockdown so much easier to cope with. Your tribute to the great EVH is the BEST ( i loved him and i know this is Skid Row song, but those guys were inspired by Eddie anyway). I am a true follower and paying subscriber to your online course. You rock and please keep up the great work. Cheers, Morten from Denmark
that song brings back a flood of unforgettable thoughts and feelings that many songs of that era often do (for me anyways)......thnx again Carl for throwing me back to the days of my youth..........
@Guitar lessons 365. Carl I wanted to thank you so very much for this lesson. Iv been working on this song for about a year now just picking away at it over time. Getting a portion down going back to the video to get the next part. Maybe I'll work on the solos this year...but thanks again Carl don't know if you're gonna even see this but your a great guitar teacher
I love Sabo's solo part, so unique its, odd he didn't do more solos. I've been trying learn it on Rocksmith :) but cannot see the TAB properly , so Thanks for that, great lesson
My brother made 8 year old me a copy of slave to the grind back in 92… that was my first skid row album… after listening to the title track.. I was hooked but fast forward the get the f out song.. I didn’t discover that track after I got out of high school…
Hey Carl I've been watching your lessons for a few years now and you have a way of explaining in detail without confusing the student I really believe you can play just about anything one of my favorite songs by bto called rock is my life the live version I just have to learn it but I can't find anybody that teaches it on guitar only bass maybe you could post a lesson on it some day I would be so grateful thank you for all the great lessons.!!
1000% excruciating to "unlearn" playing it the wrong way all these years and now just learning the correct way. I'm determined though, I will get this!
Really great lesson Carl! Thank you for the awesome learning potential that you have opened up for me! Question.. I struggle with capturing the tone of the original artist... any chance you might start adding a description of the effects you are using to help nail the tone of the original guitar tracks? Your tone always sounds terrific!
Please make a lesson of quicksand jesus. I'm sure many will agree. Thaaaaanks in advance!!!! I just learned sweet child o'mine through your lesson! Will keep supporting your lessons 😁😁😁
Thanks so much for this one, Carl. I don’t know if my asking for it had an6 influence on you doing it, but either way, a big thank you! Have a good day, man!
Everytime I watch these 80s or early 90s rock lessons, I realize why I didnt get any good for awhile despite starting in 92.These songs are hard to play, and learning from tab books was a no go for me, still is to an extent.
Please consider doing KILLERS by Tygers of Pan Tang. It's a great song and I think it would be a unique lesson for you to do :) Great lesson by the way
Another lick ass riff! Thank you much Carl, I never request any tunes and feel kinda rude doing so but for years now I've been trying to figure out Robert Plants, Ship of Fools... Not much of a post Zeppelin Plant fan but I love the guitar in this one! That or Wasting my Time by JP, off the Outrider album, Thanks bud... Mike(Whitey).
@GuitarLessons365Song hey brother, I'm a huge fan and I've improved so much as a guitarist because of you! You're incredible man 🔥🔥🔥 Could you do a lesson on CREATURES OF THE NIGHT by KISS
Hey Carl! Is it me or that pull off from the A you do at 4:36 is barely noticeable on the song? Every time I hear the song, I can't hear that pull off. The drums leave a space right at that time. It's driving me nuts. Lol. Can you relate?
