To me, arguably one of the best bands to come out of the 80's. Yes they had ballad songs, but man songs like this were fast and furious. Fun as hell to see in concert.
True that ! But somebody should let him know that his prime came and left though, itsa damn shame these guys couldn't have worked out their difference's
Criminally underrated band. I was a bit too young to see them in concert at their peak and never got to see them with Bas live, so I'm super thankful for videos like this one!
Bach’s vocals back then were so fucking brutal man. Mixing of the cleans with high pitch, & mixing them during the chorus at times. Saw him with his new band about 5 years ago & surprisingly he can still hit some of those notes.
This is unbelievable it has been over thirty years and I still remember watching this on tv that New Years Eve when it first came out. Thank God I saw them live and they were my first concert with Guns N' Roses seven months after this on July 29, 1991 at the Inglewood Forum.
⭐️💯🏁🏁🏁 I will never stop loving ❤️ and adoring this music, this band, and especially this particular performance. I was 16 years of age in December 1990 when this performance was aired and still remember being completely in awe of this band. Thank you so much for posting this.
OMG!!!! I LOVE THIS BAND 😍😘. Loved em since 89'. Baz is A -AMAZING!!! Gives me goosebumps when he hits those high notes. I'd love to go bk to that time again when the music was great.Shame they not all together now. Reunion plzzz 😘
Thank you and God bless you a million times for posting this great and precious video footage. I still remember watching this for the first time that freezing New Year's Eve, December 31, 1990. They were getting ready to start working on "Slave to the Grind." I miss the late 80's and early 90's really effin bad.
Absolutely one of the best pure rock songs of all time and this live recording was insane..the guitars were awesome and affuso’s hi-hat sounded sick. Underrated drummer IMO
Remember the 90's when you wanted to know anything about your favorite bands you had to buy the heavy metal magazines that you'd get 8x10 pics of the bands and small talk about the group...there was no social media or something we could get information without going all over to all the different magazine shops. Those were the days...no wonder we're so lazy nowadays
yep social media sucks, i remember those days no wide use of cell or smart phones and internet. Everyone is more focus on what there doing or what they're looking at instead of looking at screens all day, thanks a lot technology!
Skid Row was one of those bands where the glam/hair metal fans loved them and the metal fans respected them... I've always considered them a metal band. 🤘
Yeah it is. It must have originally been recorded on film cameras, and bounced onto film with the poor quality digital titles, then transferred to HD recently.
there's a lot of good rock out there slash five finger death punch real bands that actually play instruments 70s 80s were the best alot of new music can be thrown together bullshit based on looks etc fuck that I'm 62 and still love rock tool Steve via etc
Saw these guys twice on the slave tour. They were a real blink and you miss them phenomenon. Two truly great albums, they were as huge as any rock band in the late 80's and early-mid 90's, and then they were gone. All great things are not meant to last I guess, and this band were a perfect example of a flash in the pan. Awesome while it lasted, but it didn't last long. But you know, that was for the best. Better that they went out at the top of their game (well not quite, with that awful third album and all), than they carry on and on and become a joke of what they once were, like motley crue or guns n roses. I know the band still carries on with some loser nobody trying to sing the songs, and Bach does some touring and gigs, but it's more nostalgia than anything new and significant. About 5 years or so, from the end of the 80's to around 1995, they were one of the best live bands you could see, with some of the best music of the time.
Seb is a vocal monster, and he is one fucking hell of a front man. Skid Row, or the band that tours with that name are an embarrassment without this bloke. For fans who both enjoy/love their music and pay coin to make them millionaires the fucking infighting and changes of personnel are pathetic. SR if re united with Bach could, should sell out arena after arena.
The quality of the video is very nice. Moreover, I think when skid row members and former members watch these videos... they remember "we were the best".
I saw them alot before they go big im from N.J they used to play at the Birch hill alot,i took guitar lessons from Snake Sabo at Garden state Music cent in T.R ...hes a cool guy good teacher
YESSSS. This is when I was a teen....my god he was beautiful. Fkn gorgeous. He should be glad he didnt meet me when I was sixteen. His ass would have been late to every concert and my ass would have been grounded til age 30.
I saw them in '92. I never liked Sebastion because he was such a poser, but looking back I realize that we were spoilt for talent back then. Unfortunately, they don't promote bands anymore. Now, art has been replaced by content creators.
Such a badass band 🤟👌👏 Bach will always be one of the greatest vocalists of all time..much appreciation to Dave Sabo,Rachel Bolan,Scottie Hill and Rob Affuso also...reunion please...if only...😄🤟👌
@Emily Mathews Yes, but never made "The Big Time Show". I lost my higher ranges after a chemical accident where I breathed in a bunch of toxic and acidic fumes. Thought I was going to die, but I got treatment and I damaged my vocal chords. First I lose the ability to play guitar due to a shattered wrist and then this. Someone doesn't want me performing!! LOL
@Emily Mathews Actually, I started due to my home life. I didn't have a "Leave it to Beaver" household. It looked really pretty from the outside, but what went on inside was horrible! So music was my getaway from all the things occurring at home. You're right about what becoming a star takes from you. It's rarely an easy ride, with everyone wanting a piece of you. At some point it takes a toll to some extent on all of them. Fame and Fortune isn't a cheap ride!!
I saw them back in April of 89 they were the opener for Bon Jovi at the Forum in Inglewood CA. Great show and after party. One of the best times in my life
