- My Mk4 Jetta wagon needed new suspension so I installed Raceland coilovers and new upper strut mounts.

love the mk4 wagon man. i should hopefully be getting a 2003 wagon with a 1.8 t in it this weekend. love the vids and it seems like you know what you’re talking about lol
Right on! I would say I know enough to be dangerous haha. I mean, I did just set my coils the wrong way...
@@cheesingarage have to learn somehow I suppose! Keep learning though! Just be mindful of water pumps. Mine went on my golf!
Wait i just replaced my strut mounts and i put the bearing facing the other way before seating the mount. Did you do this incorrectly in the video or am i gonna have to redo my strut mounts
I have a mk4 tdi wagon, I love it, great choice
Nice! I wish this was a TDI, but the price was right.
Done the exact same to mine today, and yes it’s definitely too low. My tow hook is hammering the ground everywhere. I’m guessing you also removed your adjusters at the back? It scrapes so bad😂
haha I didn't even remove the adjusters, it was just that low. Luckily, once I raised them up its been smooth sailing
Yea man you put your strut mount bearing on the wrong way
Also when my car had bad mounts there was a large gap. Now after installing the new ones it looks just like your car. Passenger side no gap driver side has small gap. Maybe thats just what its supposed to look like. Idk 🤷♂️ but after tightening the strut caps a bit more the knocking noise went away and driving smoothly so far
bro you really need to really show the ride height and not you're face all the time
Anyone know the bolt pattern on these? The one I have says 2006 which states 5x112 but the 05 says 5x100, when I look up by vin it shows 06 jetta sportwagen gls 1.9 tdi… stupid question I know. Wasn’t this complicated with my e70 35d which I miss dearly
It’s 5x100
@@krzysztofcylwich2817 thank you boss
The Mk4s are 5x100, the Mk5 is when the 5x112 started
