I Tried All These Jeans In Search Of the PERFECT Pair Of Wide Leg Jeans
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 7 июн 2024
- I bought a bunch of wide leg jeans from Amazon, Gap, Old Navy and Evereve to try for summer in this “fashion” over 40 try-on haul! These jeans are from a variety of different brands and a variety of prices, so let's see if there are any good ones to add to our wardrobes. I love a good Amazon treasure but I am also not afraid to try some higher priced brands because I run "lean" on jeans and only need a few pairs. I hope you enjoy and/or find this helpful, and thanks for watching!
For reference I am 5’6”, 145 lbs, usually wear a size 8 😃

Appreciate your true opinion and humor 😅 with your try on hauls. Keep them coming!
#7 are definitely the best!!!!
I’m with you. The expensive jeans are almost always the most comfortable, best looking jeans on me. Maybe it’s a short person thing, but wide leg don’t look that great on me! I prefer boot cut or straight. Anyway, the last 2 are definitely the winners. I would probably keep both! I do have 2 pairs of ON jeans that love. I think they are bootcut. They are soft, light, stretchy, and fit perfect. So that was a score. Fun video. 😀
More expensive jeans use more expensive denim. I prefer the $100 ones on her.
I can see how a wider leg may drown out a shorter person! Although if they were a crop at the right length maybe 😃
@@playingthemomgame I already feel short so cropped pants make me feel shorter!
I’m also with you. The more expensive jeans fit me better and feel better.
Yeah I guess it makes sense!
Farm chore jeans! Love it! I totally understood that!
Right!? I don’t have a farm but they just feel that way haha!
Love you, love your videos! I always get a few laughs. The color, black jeans look like clown pants to me, but I love the cut from the cloth even though they’re more expensive than I’d prefer to spend they always fit so well.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy!
Yes to jeans 7 & 8 for sure! No to 6 - they'd be the standouts that every time you wore them people would think, "Oh, she's wearing THOSE again." In other words, you couldn't wear the colorblock often... maybe twice a year? lol I agree that the best jeans overall are lightweight, super soft & stretchy. It's a gamble ordering jeans online when you can't feel the fabric - and then there's the whole inconsistent sizing issue between brands. Thanks again for another fun, funny & informative try-on!
I completely agree about the "she's wearing those again" haha! Thanks for watching another video!
Thanks for sharing! 8 looked good on you, front and back!
I liked those too! Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Definitely like the 2 expensive ones best!! 👍🏻
I am cringing at the price but the AG’s looked the best. You get what you pay for, I guess. 🤷🏼♀️
You should definitely keep them. 🙂
Agreed. They look fantastic on her. Price is steep but they are good.
I know. Kind of cringing too… but I kept them 😬 I think I’ll wear them a lot! That’s the most I’ve ever spent on a pair of jeans by a long shot.
@@playingthemomgameI think you made a good decision. 😉
@@playingthemomgame They really did look great on you.
@@playingthemomgame The cost per wear will hopefully make it worth it.
Generally speaking, I don't care for wide leg jeans. That said, numbers 7 & 8 looked the best on you. 😄
7 and 8 🙌🏼
Yeah… price sucks.
But- you will keep them for a long time and feel really good wearing them.
I would guess that these more expensive ones are more ethically made and probably much better quality.
Glad you found ones you like!
You are probably right!
Cute video! Farm Chore jeans are definitely for the winter 😀
Yes for sure! Farm chores IN the winter! 😆
A situation where the most expensive are the best. Le sigh. The last two look fantastic on you.
I bought high rise cropped wide leg jeans from Zara last year and love them!
We don’t have a Zara close by but I may have to check out their website!
Numbers 7 & 8 are definitely keepers! It’s funny how we all like different things. Some people want more stretch in the waistband but for me, I find that after a few hours they feel so loose and saggy! So I prefer more rigid denim! I did get a pair of wide leg jeans at H&M that I love.
Me too. I much prefer rigid jeans. That being said, I actually bought a pair of OG straight jeans from Old Navy last summer - first ever pair of jeans I ever bought from Old Navy - with more stretch than I usually buy and I love them! I can wear them many times before washing without them stretching out. I quit buying stretchy jeans a long time ago because I got tired of baggy jeans after only a few hours. I really liked this pair and they were very cheap on sale so I thought I would give them a try. I am pleasantly surprised as I usually only buy denim with 1-2% stretch at most I wore them on repeat all last summer and will be doing the same this year. I am in the market for a pair of wide legged jeans so I will check out H&M.
I hate that too when they get loose and saggy! I have to say I've worn the Kut ones a few times already and they haven't become saggy so I think they passed that test. I completely know what you mean though. I may have to check out H&M.
@@minorityfringe387 my first pair of Old navy jeans was also the OG straight! I love them so much! I don’t find them that stretchy though. I wonder if different washes and colors are sized differently! It seems to vary. I also got the faded black one which is a bit looser and longer!
I found a pair of Made Well cropped wide legged jeans (with a button fly) in the young men’s clearance area of Marshall’s. Obviously hidden there. But not frightened by the buttons and they fit great. $9.99. Didn’t even know the brand when I bought them.
Oh nice! I have tried Madewell but not in the past few years. I think that's a brand I would probably like.
Abnormally long femurs……hahaha! I have them too. I’m passing on this trend but they look great on some people. Keep going with your try on videos. They are helpful. Also I purchased the white tee favorite on Amazon and you are correct..it’s perfect and the fabric is exactly what I’m looking for. 👍
Haha! I didn't know it was a thing! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos and also that you liked that tee! I have washed and dried mine and it has kept its shape and fabric softness so far!
Ahahahaha. "I can't unfeel that"🤣
You should try American Eagle jeans! You can find some that a very thin, light weight and comfortable! Thank you for another wonderful video!😁
I used to love American Eagle but I haven't shopped there in a long time! That's a good reminder though I may have to check them out!
I've had quite a few people suggest American Eagle to me lately too. I really need to go as I am also a lover of thinner, stretchy denim.
My thighs/femurs are the same way!
Try a chambray made with Lyocell. I have a black pair from Levi’s.
Oooh this is new to me! I will have to look!
Thank you for sharing. I struggle with jeans. The Meg jeans look like something that would work for me. I love the t-shirt you are wearing. Can you share the link to your t-shirt? Thank you
I LOVE the Meg jeans. I’ve worn them multiple times and they maintain their shape. A great choice for summer! The top is Everywear tee from Old Navy and I really like it too! rstyle.me/+_Wyc20ikPvoP5TuDMLTxBg
You make me laugh but I trust you.🙏
Haha I'm glad!
Good morning. I'm not into the wide leg trend, mainly because I'm short but I enjoy watching you and you're funny 🙂
Thanks for watching anyway! 😃
Well they all actually look really good but yep, it’s all about comfort and as much as it aggravates me, I would drop the money on at least 1pair for sure..possibly #7 but prob #8😏 btw I bought a pair of boyfriend jeans from old navy and they’re very baggy ( which I love ) but the waist has “no give” and are tight and it grosses me wearing them. Oddest feeling🤮🤮 oh well.
That's how that first Amazon one was! All nice and stretchy but no give in the waist. No thanks!
I gave up on wide leg jeans. 😢
The distressed knee situation was too much! I noticed the first pair was way off right away.
haha yes it was too much! I don't mind a distressed knee but not if it's halfway up my thigh! I was trying to figure out if that elongated my legs or made them look shorter 😄
I find all of Old Navy’s denim are thick
Ok so it wasn’t just these. I’ve found jeans that I like there before but these I just wanted a lighter fit!
The old navy ones looked the best.... don't do crop beautiful lady!!!
Another feature that is a must for me is the length of the zipper. The zipper needs to be longer into the bottom of the rise. I noticed a couple of these had shorter zippers, and that just looks odd, like your crotch is more exaggerated. I hope that explanation makes sense.
I came to say the same thing. Noticed it particularly in the first Amazon pair. The Kut jeans were my fave.
I didn't actually notice that! I will have to pay attention to that 😃
Cut the cheaper ones off??
I did have that thought too!
Thick denim means they’ll last YEARS! I wish you’d show the back as some jeans do weird things to the butt!
I'm sorry I'll remember to do that next time! Yes I agree that thick denim would be nice and durable! But way too hot for me for summer!
All the less expensive jeans would’ve been fine if it wasn’t for the stupid intentional holes they put in the knees(or above the knees lol) why do they do that? It ruins the jeans and it looks outdated anyway. If you’re going to splurge on jeans, AG is one of the best brands out there, I say it’s worth it and steer clear of any jeans with holes in the knees, unless they’re vintage Levi’s.
This is the first pair of AG I have tried, and I am impressed. I have seen some influencers show dupes for the AG so I may have to look into that! I don't mind holes but they have to hit me right at the knee!
Numbers 7 and 8 seem to bunch up around the crotch and hip area. Not a good look.
I’ll need to watch back to see what you mean!
