Disgusting that a wildlife rescue said they would euthanise him. So glad that he wouldn't let them do that. What a great guy.
As a person who pulls domestic ducks out of wildlife rescues it's law in most states that wildlife rescues cannot take domestic animals they can get into bad trouble. He is a domestic duck
They called them selfs rescues and the first thing they want to do is kill the animals
Yes how cld rescues be so cruel? 😢
@@theduckfather7492
even if they can't take them they could reference organizations that will
@@theduckfather7492 Okay, but that gives them no right to KILL a poor innocent baby duck.
animals have immense capacity to love unconditionally
50 Billion of them butchered & slaughtered every year in the USA. Mind numbing numbers.
Well said man, opposite of human being, 🙏👍
And yet...humans are uncapable of...
Unconditional love but with food and heat it works better..
And one really only knows that after spending time with. Take time to spend time over time one would truly appreciate how blessed we are for any animal or bird. I have incredible stories of sparrows but people call them invasive. Wow. I call humans sociopaths.
How adorable for you to save his life he could have been run over by a car or just died from being hungry I'm glad you took him under your wing LOL
so once pun "intended" good one🤣
Or been murdered by the so called rescue.
How can rescue and euthanize even be on the same page. How us killing a duck rescue.
I forgive everyone As I am asking all life to forgive me
Or euthinanized by the local wildlife rescue who are supposed to be rehabilitating wild animals not killing them.
@@sharonsuddaby3473 incredible they call that rescue
I hope they never rescue me

Well said man 👍
He was so comfy between your feet, even wagged his little tail 🦆
I love when irregular animals (aka not dogs) wag their tails. My ferrets do it when they're really really excited about something and it always makes me laugh and warms my heart at the same time. Duckie's little wags were equally adorable 💛
@@FionaApplewrightMuscovy ducks are known for this trait, and this looks very much like an adorable little Muscovy duckling to me. ❤
Thank you for rescuing this beautiful boy. You have a wonderful heart and kind, generous soul. Peace and blessings to you and Peepa.
I think it's awesome that you took this duck and became his duck daddy. And I think it's great that you go and visit him as much as you do. Thank you for being a good dad. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🦆🦆🦆🦆
He's better than a lot of actual pet or children's dad 😅
Thank you for saving this little babies life. ❤️
Hi
We need more people in the world who are as kind as this fellow is. What a nice guy and such a happy story.
Ikr? I would do the same thing he did if I found a poor baby duck alone on the street, I just LOVE ducks as well as geese and swans, although granted geese and swans can be aggressive but I won't hold that against them since it's usually because they're protecting their babies, territories or any other reason.
I would love to do this, but 9 to 5 work doesn't really give you opportunities. just something to do rly.
Lovely, heartwarming story ♥️
Hugs to you Denique for rescuing Peepa🤗
Absolutely wonderful that you've still kept him close by to watch him grow❤️
What a lovely story ❤️.
But what kind of "Wildlife RESCUE Center" would euthanize a wildlife animal ???? Why? It isn't legal to euthanize a healthy animal ! Which vet would ever do that.?
Wildlife rescues cannot take domestic animals they can get into bad trouble. He is a domestic duck
Unfortunately, it's not easy to keep a creature alive. And there a millions upon millions of such creatures. It's an overwhelming issue with an unfortunate answer sometimes.
Granted, I don't see why we spend billions of dollars keeping monsters like kiddie creeps and violent criminals around in jail but euthanize helpless creatures. Swap it around, if you ask me. 😆
@@BrianLockett 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
@@BrianLockett couldn't agree more.
Agreed. They didn't even want to try to post him in groups to find a home. Just immediately went to euthanize. They need looked into.
The wildlife rescue wanted to kill him, Thank you for saving him twice.
Hi
We never know when someone special will come into our lives. Good lesson to be open, lead with kindness.💕
Thanks for giving him a chance at life. He picked the right person to trust.
Absolutely beautiful!
I had a pet duck many many years ago. He was quite the character. Always made me laugh, followed me everywhere, and very loving. One of the best pets I ever had.
The exact thing happened to me. Lived out her days on a nice little hobby farm.
You gave Peepa a chance. Needed to do duck things. 😘
SO CUTE
What a wonderful man to help this baby duck. I love their bond ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
makes me ill that this man saved this duck’s life only for them to want to kill him
I just love how his lil tail wiggles lols it's adorable 🥰
Wow! That's a win, win. Thanks for saving the little guy. Oh and thanks for saving the big guy too!! 😄
Thanks Denique for rescuing this grateful little ducky, you have a beautiful heart! The violin was always my favourite instrument
Hi
He's so adorable! He just knew he could trust you and that's so wonderful. I'm glad you found him a really good home. Thank you for telling your story with Peepa!!

I love it! Thank you so much for saving him! You have a wonderful heart!
Cute!!
What a standup nice guy. I would probably have kept the duck. Amazing that he was so friendly and followed him home. Duck food-oatmeal and water. 😊😊
Thank you to Denique for being a hero to this sweet duck.
I grew up raising chicken and ducks, I also had several other pets but no one beats the love and affection from these guys, and they also reward you every day with one egg, I mean, no one can compete with. Plain simple
🦆
Peepa was "imprinted" on you. This is how animals form attachments when they are very young. He thinks you are his mother. This is such a heartwarming story. Thank you for sharing it.
Little guy seems to be so adorably attached ❤ Hope he'll have a great life at the farm 🦆
yeah ducklings imprint on you fast which you must avoid handling unless your keeping them as a pet
Peepa is bound to you forever. You took her in and gave her a place to call home!! Thank you for understanding the value of her heart. She will always know you/find you! Your talent is her talent now!
He found such a great solution! The little duck must have known he was in good hands. Maybe they both needed each other. What a heart warming story 💛!
This is so heart warming and wholesome. Bless you for looking after him and then taking him to a farm. Lovely.
A guy and his duck....kindred spirits. You chose the right path for him in a farm, thank you.
Hello how are you doing
Beautiful story. God bless them both. Thanks Dodo for this. It was the perfect start to my morning 🌄
Real men are kind to animals. Respect to you Denique. What a lovely story, Thanks for sharing, 😍
❤❤❤ I'm glad there are people out there that have compassion and take a little time out of their lives to help a defenseless little animal :))
What a little sweetie!! Thank you for saving his sweet little life! You are an Amazing Duck Dad!!!!💖❤️💕💖❤️💖💕💖❤️
Ducks can be such awesome pets! I’ve had several throughout my life
Hi
He came to you when you needed a little love in your life. A little Angel. 💕
Vets seem very obsessed with putting down animals instead of doing their jobs to help and I hope not all of them are like this.
I was just going to say something similar. Not only vets, but the humane society ironically is also quick to euthanize animals brought to them
They often have very limited amount of resources and a lot of animals to care for. Its a really unkind job sometimes, but they have to priotise who to help and who not to :(
Edit: Talking about wildlife services and shelters
When I was a kid my mom took my older cat to the vet. He said that he got into the job for the money and that we could pay a lot of money to keep him a live for a little longer but that we should just put him down, my mom did because couldn't afford to.
Are you trying to say they enjoy it or….? There’s way more money in it for the vet if they try to keep the pets alive, so I guess I’m confused on what you’re saying.
@@Colaschnittchen If they did what good shelters do (check Shelter Friend in Ukraine who are over the limit because of the war but still able to take new animals in once they dispatch some to new homes around Europe or Takis Shelter in Corfu, doing just this). If they don’t focus on finding animals permanent homes they will always have to euthanize new ones. It takes an effort and a new staff in charge of adoptions, but organisations like Humane Society could do it easily if they cut their top office workers salaries.
Real men have...heart...like you sir....the duckling is adorable
What an adorable little duckie! Bless this sweet man for caring for him. So bittersweet that he couldn't keep Peepa. He can really sing, too🤗
Good job bro!we have had numerous ducks and people don't realize how sweet, funny and energetic they are.
What a sweet story! You never know when an animal will steal your heart away! ❤🐤💜✌

They don't know agendas.

LOVE THIS STORY, LUCKY LITTLE DUCK & DAD
Hello how are you 😊
I love how you really embraced the little guy! Playing chase at the park, recording him in your studio, and playing music for him was all so adorable. What a lucky little guy to find YOU!
I got nervous when he talked about the duckling in the past tense because some of these videos have sad endings but this was a happy one. Why did the Wildlife Rescue want to euthanize him when he was healthy?
As a person who pulls domestic ducks out of wildlife rescues it's law in most states that wildlife rescues cannot take domestic animals they can get into bad trouble. He is a domestic duck.
I love when these animals seem to find the right ppl to ask for help from. He knew he had to find the best home possible for his new duck friend n I'm glad he didn't let the wildlife "rescue" keep the duck n I'm sure the duck is living his best life.
Thanks for saving him and getting him a safe place to live. Too bad you didn't keep him.
Hello how are you 😊
What a beautiful story, thanks so much for sharing this with us. I too have had little ducks as pets, and they enhanced my life until they grew and I had to find a home for them. I couldn’t bear for Peepa to be separated too long from you. If you could only keep her in your home, she would bless your home with her warmth and presence. Please keep in touch with me as far as her progress…… God bless you both.

I raised a Mallard duckling in the 1960s. Best pet ever. Mine ate white bread and milk. I even taught her how to fly. Thank you for saving Peepa
Hello how are you doing today 😊
Duck redux!! Very similar to our childhood. My brother found an Easter duck in a trash can, thrown away after the holiday. Brought him home, looking just like your little guy. We hand raised him, he turned into a very large beautiful white Pekin duck, and lived in our yard for many years. He was called Peep (much like yours) because he peeped all night long when he was a baby inside our house. My mother used to warm a towel in the dryer, and rock him to sleep every night, put him back in his cozy box…..and about two minutes later, his peeping started. We adored him. The male ducks can be quite territorial, have a wide wingspan, will chase, and will occasionally nip someone they dislike. Per your instinct, we made our Peep hot oatmeal in the winter when he lived in our playhouse filled with straw in the winter.
So cute I could have never given him up.
What a wonderful story! Thanks for posting! He is adorable.
God bless you more and Peepa.
