Ironic that the code for the ICU400 between Clitheroe and Blackburn is the services previous route number 225! I only ever drove one of the B10s when I was at Rosso when it had to go back to the depot from Blackburn Bus Station. Such a nice drive though and I had a big smile all the way to Intack knowing I also used to ride on them when I was younger. Also, to add, it's nice to hear 1102 has its original gear ratio setup! Most of the B10s got changed so it sounded a bit rubbish, love the whine the original setup gives...very nostalgic!
I didn't even notice it was 225 omg 😳 I'm sure an idiot lol 😆😂. I must admit I have the biggest smile when I'm driving. It's just amazing how well they drive and shows how well they have been looked after by the engineering team.
They have been amazingly well looked after. They got it right when they made these. It's a shame that newer buses struggle to hold a candle to these vehicles
I have resigned from my last bus company for half a year and still thinking about rejoining the bus driver big family. Thanks for your video, and please share more for our reference. 😊
Good to see they still have a staff bus.Years ago they had plenty of them and my grandfather sometimes drove the one for United over in the north east, it'd have been Ribble your side of the Pennines.
Oh that's horrible news. I honestly wish I came into a little money as I would love to buy one to persevere . These have been faithful serving our community for over 20 years and they are amazing and fun to drive.
@@anthonyleecooke Yeah, I wish I could as well, luckily one of them, R790 WKW was preserved by South Yorkshire Transport Trust in 2015. First have a nasty habit of scrapping older vehicles rather than selling them to smaller operators or selling them for preservation.
My gosh Anthony this is by far my favourite video you’ve made I was so exited when I saw a B10 on thumbnail! there really isn’t any pov videos of these amazing beasts anywhere so I really appreciate you taking the time to do them I hope we get more Renown content before they leave 😢that ZF sounds incredible thanks once again keep up this amazing channel I’m really enjoying it!
Honestly these are my favorite vehicles to drive. I had so much fun making this video and to be honest I wasn't gonna release it as I didn't think it was that good. I'm being sent back to Blackburn tomorrow so hopefully maybe some more B10s
@@Baqir_B2 yea the camera angle isn't great but thats to make sure we don't get customers facees on but I'm trying to accessories for this camera to try and do something different with it
Would be nice but I had a meeting with the management team and they asked to stop with the pov so to respect them we have stop this. but there is a plan to do some route training with another driver soon. but thank you for watching and commenting, :-)
What year is that B10? And what mileage? We had a lot of B10s here in Norway as well, not Wright bodied off course. Last ones with that dash disappeared around 10 years ago. We had both automatic and manual gears. Many of them doing 1,5 - 2,0 mill kilometers before getting scrapped.
The last ones we got were on 02 plates the rest are on private plates so not 100%. I was 13 when I changed school and I remember using them for school so they are a minimum of 21 years old and they have definitely been round the clock a few times

I was going to say Route 225 :P I do miss the 5 does not feel right without it. 22 was Burnley to Clitheroe via Sabden
The "Blip" of the indicators takes me back to our training bus. That was an old B10. Memories!
You've got to love everything about them minus the hand break it's in a weird place but that is the only flaw in what I can describe as a perfect bus
I loved riding the B10s when we had them, they aren't half bad for their age by the looks of it.

I generally think if you've got a good team around you it helps. I've got like 5/6 people around me who make it easy
Love the engin sound on that bus one of my favourite busses it’s a same Burnley bus company don’t have them more. Great vid btw
Honestly I had some much fun driving them. I had that much footage I thought oh what the heck . The sound they make is amazing

Yea it makes life a little easier when you finish at the station.
GOD, I miss B10s! First South Yorkshire used to have some lovely R and T reg B10s and most of them got scrapped in about 2017 or so.

Great video keep up the amazing job
Thanks! Will do!
Slow down it took 180 litres last night.
Really 🤯 I didn't know it took that much. I haven't driven it since Sunday
Great video by the way. Great camera
would be great to see a head mounted pov of these, would make for a much better camera angle and "preservation" of these 😁 great video
Unfortunately they drew the line at head mounting the camera 😞
But thank you for watching I appreciate it
This camera angle would be great for route learning. Should do all routes with this angle 👍🏻

Much appreciated thank you 😊
Another amazing video Anthony are you going to create another RUclips channel for the podcast or keep it on this one??
Gonna keep it all on one channel for the time being but that might change down the line but I ask the subscribers what they want.

If your home depot is Rochdale are you transferring to First on the Bee Network?
464 drivers are not affected by the bee network. I believe we're still gonna be Rosso Drivers
Will You still be operating out of the Rochdale depot or are you moving to a different depot
We currently operate out of Blackburn Depot.
Also sorry your comment got flags I've no idea why. I'm sorry for the late response
Don't tell me these are being replaced with dreadful enviros
Possibly
