I agree on the brakes too. Always blows me away how good they are whenever I drive it.

The dream machine :). Got my 95 gsr / type r. Canadian gsr with jdm complete front swap. After 6 other Integra’s 7th is my dream car. Just gotta get it painted champ white with a gen 1 mugen spoiler and it’s my complete dream car. Thanks Hunter as I’ve done many fixes thanks to you with all my Integra’s. You are an amazing person. Oh bro... Such awesome cars from the factory. A different experience, had 3 buddy's with ones new off the showroom floor back in 2001 and I finally was able to drive one around myself back in 06. It's just nothing like a normal Integra even the usdm ones.

This engine had the record for most hp per liter when it came out and was dethroned in 1999 by s2000’s F20C so it really is, insanely impressive and shows how Honda used to be great😢

If I had a real dc2 type r I would just do a 230hp all motor build, suspension, and volk te37’s. I’m driving the fucker idc what anyone says. You can keep it clean af while driving it that’s facts.
i made 166hp on a stock USDM ITR years back. i still have it.

The ITR intake tube isn't ribbed inside, used to be a sleeper mod. 😉
The brakes are good on these, with good pads they can perform just as well as aftermarket brakes, just not as light.
The 98 spec camshafts are very nice too, broad powerband. A Hytech-style header and a good tune would be nice

Great car. I had a really good experience importing a car using befoward, you find a car and they take car of everything. I filled it because of cash issues but I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. A lot of the dealers use them so you can save some cash and go direct.
I’d love to see the s2000 setup and testing. It would also be interesting to see the Funk Motorsport heat management put to the test. The gold wrap, the firewall insulation and the turbo and exhaust products. Does it really lower iat’s and what effect does it have on performance. With a dialed in car like the s2000 a couple of videos as the stuff is added would be a treat.
It doesn’t have to be the funk but I’ve used a few of their products and they’re the only ones that don’t fall apart.
You’ve covered lots of upgrades and mods but I’ve never really seen anyone dig into this other than the ads they run and all the comp cars that use the stuff, but is it worth the time effort and $$$. ✌️

Put a set of cam gears on it and tune them in, was claimed to be the biggest gain back in the day for bolt ons and everybody claimed +2° on the intake and -3° on the exhaust was the sweet spots.

36mm itr 5 lug can also use 1997 prelude type sh axle, it'll be a direct fit.

I kow this is not a forum, but I have looked an I have no clue what is happening will ask my question below this comment
I am currently manual swapping a 1999 ek hatch. The donor car is a manual 1997 civic I took the engine, engine harness and the ecm from the 1997 manual car. The car starts with starter fuel and dies. When the main relay is plugged in the fuel pump does not prime. I took the relay out and jumped pin 4 and 5 to check the voltage and the pump is getting 12.3V . With the relay pins jumped and the ignition on the pump is priming. I took the relay from the manual and same thing the pump is not priming. I am lost on what the actual issue is. Something to note is that the manual 1997 engine harness and the 1999 cabin harness use the same connector so I can only connect 1 of them to the ECM.
