    Marshall Faulk is arguably the greatest complete running back ever. He came very close to having 3 seasons of 1000 yards rushing & receiving in the same year.

      That’s a legitimate stance to have…I don’t think Marshall Faulk was the BEST running back of all time, but I do feel he was the most complete

    • @mobomba6206
      @mobomba6206 Год назад

      @@fatesgates8393it's not a debate. We've never seen a running back as good as Barry just like we've never seen a quarterback like mahomes

    • @fatesgates8393
      @fatesgates8393 Год назад

      @@mobomba6206 I love Barry Sanders. He could elude out of situations most backs could not. But Faulk was a major threat when his team had to run or pass the ball. I don’t believe the 99’ Rams win the Super Bowl if they had Barry in Faulk place.
      Look at today’s NFL. RBs aren’t featured nearly as much unless they can catch some passes. But it’s only an argument for Faulk the same as an argument can be made for Barry. Me personally I say they’re 1a & 1b.

    Marshall Faulk was one of a few bright spots for the Indianapolis Colts before the arrival of Peyton Manning along with the 95 team he was on With Jim Harbaugh at QB and Ray Buchanan at CB who had a special season that year.

    Faulk was a great back in indy slot of people forget that but of course going to the rams with a offensive guru like Mike Martz they used his entire skillset because it wasn't nothing on the field he couldn't do one of the best backs in history and the best back out the backfield or lining up at receiver...the trade worked out for both teams because the rams got Faulk and with the great receivers they had they won a superbowl and indy got EJ from the trade and they stayed in the playoffs...the only bad thing was that by the time indy won the superbowl EJ was gone

    You know, I get tired of hearing that Barry Sanders is the greatest RB of all time. No one even mentions Marshall Faulk. It's as if everyone has forgotten about him. This man had two seasons where he rushed for over 1,000 yards and received for over 1,000 yards. He has Barry Sanders like moves and is a more complete Back than Barry, but he's never in the discussion for Greatest RB of all time. I think he's a better over all RB than most of the greats including Sanders. Tell me what you think guy's and girls & hermaphrodites alike?

    • @JsnHighlights1316
      @JsnHighlights1316  7 лет назад +16

      Faulk was amazing.........and I put him in my top 10 running backs of all-time but Barry is just Different......Barry was more consistent and durable as a running back......Faulk had better players around him (Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Kurt Warner, Issac Bruce, Torry Holt)...........Barry just had Herman Moore......I am Faulk's and Barry's biggest Fan........this difference is Barry was always the main target and they still couldn't stop him...........He could have won at least 3 more rushing titles in (1989, 1991 and 1993 if he didn't get injured..........they use to take him out in the red zone after he got hurt in 1993.......he was always one of the leaders in touchdowns before that.............Faulk is a more complete back but he's not a better pure running back...........

      BreuckelensFinest Barry had Herman Moore n that's it. No QB no o line. N the way he shook people people had just a different level of nasty.
      Anyone who knows football knows how great they both were. But you seem pretty worked up. You should start a petition, or perhaps you already have haha
      Is it the regular season yet? Sunday's are so meaningless without football.

      Jsn Highlights yeah, what you said. (Just saw ur comment) n don't forget Orlando Pace, Adam Timmerman on the online. Just off the top of my head haha.
      But obvious upgrades around compared to Scott Mitchell being the best QB for Barry. That should sum it up

      @@JsnHighlights1316 Barry had great moves & that's about it. He put his team in horrible situations bc he lost so many yards. Just bc he had over 100 yards for the game doesn't mean that he put his team in position to win the game like most of the greats! For e.g. Payton & Faulk. Barry was too much of a East west runner & not bc of his spread offense or bc of his O-Line, it was by choice. Barry lost so many yards that it would be 3rd & 15 bc of his running style & then he'd break a long one & get 100+ yards for the game but his team lost! This is a team sport & not about making the best moves!
      And to your point about all these great players around Faulk, he didn't have that until he got to the Rams! He still did the same things with the Colts! I rather have Faulk over Barry & my team wins 9 out of 10 times bc Faulk is more of a threat & he puts my team in better position bc of his running style & catching ability!

    • @BreuckelensFinest
      @BreuckelensFinest 5 лет назад +2

      @@polskipanda8599 I want you to go & watch a Barry Sanders Highlight video again & watch how good his O-Line blocked for him to break those long ones. It's time to stop exaggerating that Barry had "No QB no o line." Bc he did. They were very good. Stop reiterating what Gayle Sayers & the rest of the commentators say bc it's not true & it's exaggerated.
