Verdict delayed in Donald Trump New York civil fraud case

- Judge Arthur Engoron in New York has delayed a decision on how big of a fine Donald Trump will be ordered to pay in a civil fraud case. Engoron found Trump guilty of fraud last year for inflating the value of his assets on financial documents. The judge had intended to impose a fine by the end of January, but now says the verdict may not come until mid February.
The New York Attorney General's office wants the judge to fine Trump $370 million and also perhaps to ban him from doing business in New York.

Maybe the banks were happy to do business based on inflated asset valuations, but if incorrect valuations led to tax evasion it would certainly be criminal.

Trump has provided the evidence of the clause where it states the bank must perform their own due diligence on any property and its value. The bank has stated they did that, and did not just take Trumps own valuation.
The banks stated they agreed, they agreed to the loan. They also have stated he made all payments on time and never missed a payment and that they were not defrauded. The bank stated they view him as a great client.
That evidence in itself is enough for the judge to reverse his summary ruling that Trump was guilty, and throw out the case. But he wont as he hates trump, just like LJ. He has made some very poor decisions as the judge which will not be good for him after this.
Once it is appealed, i hope they disbarr the judge and Trump sues both him and LJ for $370m

A fine of that size is too much. Banning him from business is too much.
it's so big because they stimy his appeal. he needs to be able to put up an exorbitant sum of money for collateral if he appeals a ruling of this amount. I'm not sure if the term collateral is correct in this situation, but it's all I got. Pray for America and you pray for Trump by proxy.
