This is the kind of siren videos I like the most. The distant ambience with the echo plus the sounds of nature is beautiful. I know it's nice to get up-close siren videos/ambience, but this does something for me.
This is how it would sound growing up when the fire siren of my town of Mt Burr In south Australia would sound as we were in the middle of a valley in a large Pine Forrest mountains
They’re incredibly efficient when they’re higher up. The 2T22 was probably a good 50 feet above elevation from where this was recorded. I’d say if ya want good echos, the higher the better.
The siren is exactly .5 miles from where I was at. And I bet it would sound super creepy at nighttime, if I was able to try to get a recording of a nighttime tornado warning, I definitely would!
@@xaptus I'd say within 50-100 feet is a good distance from the siren. Just make sure there's a clear shot between your camera and the siren. And don't forget to plug your ears because she's gonna be LOUD.
@@Sipex6484 I’ll see what I can do. I was debating if I wanted to record the EOWS or this siren next week, it depends on what the weather’s going to do I guess.
Imagine hearing this while hiking

Same here! There’s just something about the harmonic distance of sirens that really sounds amazing.
I’ll be sure to do more of these!
I agree :)
@@xaptus awesome video :)

White stick clouds?
I love how this sounds :)
Thos Echos Are Amazing!!! Nice video!!!
:0 this has to be my most favorite siren video here so far on YT
Thankya! I’ll be sure to record more from this location in the future
Such beautiful scenery. Very peaceful.
Thank you :) It’s just off the natural tunnel trailhead at Bennett Springs; you can see miles down the trail from the top of the cliffs.
Amazing echoes with the attack signal. I hope my new house has echoes when I test my mini 2T22 in attack

@@xaptus yeah
@@xaptus the echoes sound scary af
This stuff is so unsettling 💀
Imagine you chilling at home and start hearing this outside 💀
No joke this pulls a Zearing IA move with it's attack signal.
Zearing also have a lot of 2T22s up there? They always have the best ambiences when in attack mode.
@@xaptus Zearing has one 2T22, and the windup is about as fast as this one.
Sounds like a air raid siren
That's most likely what they were originally installed for.
It became silent hill siren
It does sound like siren head in a weird way
Unreal
Approx how far are you from the siren? It sounds amazing out there but I can only imagine how creepy it would be at night haha

@@xaptus that’d be really cool but please don’t put yourself in harms way to record a video for us lol
Now THIS is hot. You should get an up close recording in the future :)
I plan to do an even higher shot of this ambience, but I can definitely get an up-close vid too. How close sounds good?

Hey Xaptus_4 Living Mice Cool😎Sound Of That Federal Signal 2T22 Tornado Siren Ambience
Attack mode used for air raids and tornado emergency.
This siren gives me Silent Hill PTSD
No
Imagine a thousands of bombers passing by
Thats a 2t22a for sure
Oh yeah, definitely a healthy one!
@@xaptus yep
Do you know the distance this was recorded at? I have some 2T22’s in my area and it would be pretty cool to get something like this
The 2T22 was exactly half a mile from where I was recording.
@@xaptusAlright thanks
The echo sounds… TOO ECHO’EY did you use a sound amd add an echo to it?
No added effects whatsoever! :) Just shows how far the sound can be carried across the valley.
