- While I went to the '22 I had my spare recorder rolling in the middle of Newton to get a load of those DC ambiences Mike always touts about. Well, tout I shall; because holy hell the attack sounds amazing. The way the 2T22B sounds even makes it blend in with the mix of DC sirens! Also of note, the Hardees SRN*B is dying; it lost a TON of pitch in the alert segment. It's gonna need new batteries ASAP. Finally, it appears the 2001-130 to the east of my recorder has disappeared. I don't know what the deal is, but I suppose when the newest T-128's went up it was deemed unnecessary.
Sirens:
- Federal 2T22B - 1 mile south, blocked intake
- Federal 2001-SRN*B - 0.7 Miles west, dying batteries
- A.S.C. T-128 - 0.7 miles northwest
- A.S.C. T-128 - 0/6 miles southeast

was gonna say either train derailment or some large structural collapse
Those sirens had to warn for a PDS Tornado earlier today, makes this ambience even creepier.
I heard from Quade that apparently Newton's whole system failed yesterday...

Seems like the tornado thankfully passed north of the town, but I’m sure people were not expecting an EF-4 wedge to be coming their way.
I live there and I walked outside when the tornado was coming and was like where are the sirens 😂

Hey Midwest Siren Productions Got Love Those Ambiance Like Federal Signal 2T22B Federal Signal 2001-SNB And 2 American Signal T-128 Wow That Federal Signal 2001-SRNB Dose Not Sound Good Sounds Like Has Dying Batteries
Also, North 4th Avenue And Highway 14 That American Signal T-128 Replaced A Federal Signal 2T22 Same For At Ha Lynn Stadium
