Actually RG has been filmed going through reintroduction training with Leinster, Jean Kleyn has been passed fit for Munster and will feature this weekend....so its not the same "issue" it was in the last weeks.
Moerat still has to prove his skill and ability. You can put a car in a garage but it will never become a Jaguar. Let's see!
Ja everyone kind of talk around the elephant in the room. Fine if you say Rassie sees something in him, and therefore we trust him. The fact remains he hasn't shown anything in the games we've seen. We don't have all the stats but it's clear as daylight.
I have been asking about Sasha’s injury since he ran on in the 2nd ABs test; astonished no commentators picked up on it & even Bok personnel like Rassie were unaware! Weird as!
It was clear from the get go he was favoring that leg; I said so immediately to my wife. He let himself & the team down badly. Rassie sounded very annoyed about it in the press conference.
@@SeanLarkan Yes, I was thinking of you when I saw this. Now you know why we didn't know!
Sasha is not bigger than the game or bigger than the springbok team, the boy needs to realize that. It is sad to see how our coach basically violated his own policy just to keep the fans happy and give S FM another chance, when he shouldn’t even have been on the bench for the second test.
Not sure if I heard Rassie correctly, but thought he said he only noticed SFM limping slightly (& bandaged) at the warm-up for the 2nd test. If that is correct, he didn’t even know, which seems startling, as it apparently occurred before the first test! As dit so is, is SFM in die kak!
Lekker gesprek manne ! Respek !
It’s hard to implement ‘Tony Brown ball’ or whatever it’s termed if our boys keep knocking on or mis-passing; work is badly needed on the basics. This is a real feature of the Irish game, especially amongst the forwards.
They don't need the basics. Passing and catching is things they continually do. Look at the practice grids they run. It takes time to adjust to a new system. Continuety will follow. I'm like you, the glass is always half empty. Just enjoy the moment, you might live longer.
It will come. Tto a certain extent it already has, Ox being a case in point.
agree, i have been talking about this for a long time, those are basics that you need to have on that level, i get the impression they do not practise running the ball at full speed during training sessions.
Thanks for comments guys - I’m afraid I do not agree about not needing these basics - in fact, they are fundamentals. I also do not think this is something we should be patient about. Good handling at full speed and instinctively is part and parcel of playing the sort of game that Rassie seems to think will be needed in the future, hence introducing Tony Brown. The Irish have mastered this. The all Blacks have always had this as their fundamental strength. It seems crazy that with all these coaches and what amounts to months and months of training that we still have not got this right.
The Springbok fans had heart attack after heart attack during the RWC 2023.....now, we are relaxed even when behind @ half time. No pain no gain🏆🏆🏆🏆🇿🇦
🤣 we certainly earned the right not to have to worry!
Moet versigtig wees hierso
When I watched the game again where Mapimpi changed the ball to the right hand, I actually thought that in wet weather if he kept the ball on the left hand, it may have slipped out over the sideline. So it switch to the right hand meant possibly keeping the ball in play for a longer time period and then increasing the likelihood of a try. That ball was quite slippery during that game.
Imagine the conversation we would have had, if he kept it on the left hand, it slipped out of his hand due to wetness and then went out the sideline. Made me think of Jamie George in the semi final in the rain and the ball flying upwards during the lineout throw.
I think keeping it on the left would have made it more difficult for the defender to get to the ball. It's equally slippery in either hand, is it not? Also, he should perhaps have tried to step the oncoming defender rather than just pinning his ears back, I think.
Good to hear from you as always!
@@megafoonsport love the fact that the game has become so much more than before lots to consider and think about.
Sasha will learn from his mistakes!
Yes, he's still young. Lots to learn
Everyone has been making him ( SFM) think he is better than he actually is ! Mental strength needs to mature !
Bom squad is belangriker as begin span
Very enjoyable rugby chat.
Thank you!
Its so obivious the forwards get worn out first . So forward replacements counts.
🔥💚🤙🍻
Elrigh 7 or 8, just a number that indicates where they pack in the scrum. Cameron will end up as a the Bok 6 one day. Bok 6 not the same as a Bull 6. Bok 8 plays very tight, carry in tight areas. You want Cameron in the the 15m trams. PS and BJ playing 7, their battle stats very in sync. Elrigh Bulls battle stats at 7 is in sync with a Bok 8 battle stats.
Interesting stuff!
I'd love to hear you explain this a bit more. It's fascinating. Why is the Bulls 6 different to Boks 6 etc?
@@megafoonsport the difference between Siya Kolisi (Bok 6) and Marco van Staden (Bulls 6). Both can hit rucks, both can defend (dominant tackles) but with Siya skillset can play in the 15m trams and Marco plays tighter and he has the janitor role cleaning up around the attacking breakdowns while Siya might be in the trams already and then the 8 (Wiese & Louw) will play the janitor role. This weekend 6, 7 & 8 is all three very hard working players who is going to stay between the 2 15m trams and hitting rucks.
@@gerhardvtonder Which is one of the reasons Kwagga didn't work that well against the Irish? Also meaning the Boks will not be playing so much Tonyball this weekend?
Hulle speel vir Suid Afrika.
Very disappointing behaviour, y not b honest, imagine the boks lost,as a result of his injury! Not good, get ure attitude rite brother!👀👀👀😬😬🫵🫵🫵💀💀🤝🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Calm down my son. Life is too short.
Salman get geen talent Rassie moet nie begin slip met verkeerde besluite
Sasha may have ruined his own career i'm a Biokineticist and specialize in sport injuries if sasha has a ACL tear he may have cut his own career short. They say 4-6 weeks recovery but they blatantly lie to the public unless his injury is not as serious but from the 2nd test the way he was limping and holding his leg he may have made the situation worse. Willemse had a similar injury and look how long he was out of action and wayde had similar injury and he ended his own career he was never the same
