    Very insightful but I think there's an error on the hypotheses. The null always confirms the statement of the claim as opposed to the alternative...
    I stand to be corrected if am wrong

      thank for your comment. The null is a statement of equality and is rejected if there is evidence of inequality that is if there is a significant association or significant mean difference
