As an avid series watcher, you have taken up most of my series time 😉. Thank you for your contribution. For the time being, as I am learning, you have channeled my bad habit of binge watching to the most informative experience and productive way of spending my time. Once again, Thank you Prof.

@@researchwithfawad My Pleasure. One of my colleagues who is also your PhD student shared your channel with me and told that you have in depth knowledge about research. I visited and enjoyed learning. Furthermore, I am already sharing it with my students. Stay blessed.

God bless you for stating that you have to first read wide in order to come up with a research question. Most texts/scholars get that wrong by inverting the process in saying, frame a research question and then conduct a literature review to look for gaps that support the research question. The futility of this approach begs the question, what then happens if the review of the literary does not reveal a gap that mirrors the research question? It simply means one stands the risk of coming up with a question/problem that might have been answered/solved in the past!.

In my opinion reading is central to coming up with a original research question. Well it hardly happens that after a through reading one doesn't come up with a research question. There are always gaps, its just we have read in detail.

@@researchwithfawadI wished you knew how hard it took for me to find you among a sea of scholars with the ill-fated notion that it’s research question then lit review.

Thank you for this important session, how many questions do we need to investigate regarding a thesis and a research paper?
