When my cap died last summer neither the fan nor compressor would run but they were both hot. So I knew they were getting power. Replaced cap and it started right up. Now a couple weeks ago the contactor went so I used my wife's nail file to sand the contacts. It's been working fine but I need to get out there and put in my new contactor. I also now have a spare contactor and capacitor just in case.

How often do you use turbos? I find that usa made caps last mich longer.
I never use them unless I’m in a real pinch.
