I like running the eruptor with the HMG you truly feel like the heavy gunner of the team with the combo, plus idk if the new armor passive is fixed or not but I also like running twigsnapper heavy armor with it

Wait till you try it againat automatons. Its by and large the most OP weapon, far surpassing the autocanon now. in an automaton main, i played from lvl32 to lvl75 doing exclusively automaton and 95% of those games was using the AC. HMG took that spot pretty much instantly. I dont even use my secondary or primary, just HMG, stuns and supply pack. Dont even need stratagems most of the time.

Viable no, AMAZING, that boi tears thru all bug structures, anything smaller then a charger dead in less then 6 shots, pair it with stun grenades and Gatling strike and you can mow down anything in your path

Not viable, some times you was saved by your team mates because of ammo, also when more than 4 chargers appears this machinegun do nothing... but is fun to use and you are a good player

@@quaternarytetrad4039 some times you need splite the team to gain time, like 12min missions if you want take all SC possible, but you are correctly and most important this game dont have meta... but for me HMgun still sucks... they could add one with a backpack ammo to increase shooting time...like a minigun

so.... peak physique doesn't really improve how quickly you can look around, but it seems to help with the reload speed?

The reload speed on the HMG was reduced in the last major patch. Peak physique does not impact reload speeds on weapons.

It doesn't improve how quickly you look around, it improves how fast you can lock on target.

I’m not 100% what peak physic is but if it’s the armour passive it doesn’t effect the reload speed but how fast you can move the weapon around so there’s less delay when you look to the left or right of you

Its possible. It needs to be damaged first. Ive taken one down with the rail gun only because it was damaged before i shot it.

The HMG can take down gunships in about ten shots on a thruster. It's now one of my favorite support weapons.
